I was very pleased with the overall experience. Dennis was able to work us into a busy schedule within a few days given the holiday season. He and his wife were punctual, extremely professional and courteous. They inspected, cleaned, and were finished in less than 45 minutes. He was also very helpful in answering my questions. I felt that the cost was very reasonable - the overall cost included a new grate ($75) as well. I will call them back for future needs.

I spoke to Dennison the phone.He explained his prices to me and said he could be out in a two days on a Thursday at 10:00 in the morning.He arrived on time.He had been to my house before, but didn't recognized him until I saw his top hat. He also recognized me.Him and his wife came in I explained that I haven't used my fireplace in two years because the bricks inside were cracking and coming apart.I explained that I was going to have it fixed but needed to get the chimney swept first. I told him the person that was going to fix it was going to have to track down the manufacture to get the bricks.He explained that My fireplace is 28 years old and company's would have to make them like he does. He told me he had everything in his truck to do it so he custom made my parts and fits great. He also gave me a price reduction for all that he done. Him and his wife were very nice.Nothing in my house got dirty from cleaning the chimney.I also told Dennis to call me every year to have my chimney swept and dryer vents cleaned out.I would highly recommend Dennis for your chimney needs. Plus he gave me a new grate free.

Dennis replaced the rotted chimney surround/facing on the roof, cleaned and inspected the chimney, and cleaned the dryer vent. I would highly recommend this company as he is reasonably priced and does quality work. Dennis took into account the weather (tropical storm) prior to opening up the chimney on the roof to rebuild the surround, and made sure it was completely built prior to rain again! It did take some rescheduling (after all he can't control the weather), but he was great about working around my schedule and the rain! My fireplace inside the house was left extremely clean - I don't think the glass door to the fireplace have ever been so completely spotless! Dennis does quality work and takes pride in his work!

Dennis was wonderful. I called him on Sat. and we scheduled a date for service on the following Tues. He gave me a time window of 9-12 and stated the price, including the Angie's list discount for an inspection and cleaning, would be $115.00. On Tues. morning, Dennis arrived at my house exactly at 9 a.m. When he came in, he inspected the fireplace and indicated it was clean all throughout and did not require a cleaning, and went forward with the inspection. Since I have never used my fireplace in the 7 years I have lived in my house, I knew I would not have accumulated any soot but I would have no way of knowing if previous owners used it. Since I had no idea how to use my fireplace I never looked up to see inside, not that I would know what to look for anyway. After my inspection, Dennis came back and gave me the revised price, which took off the cleaning price. I have seen many service providers try and make as much money as they can off their customers, but obviously Dennis is a very honest and professional provider. He could have easily just charged me what he quoted and perform a "cleaning" and I would never have known. This is probably why he has so many repeat customers and high ratings on Angie's List. I would definately use him again.

He gave me a discount for being on the list. While he was here I noticed he did dryer and dryer vent cleaning so he also gave me a discount to do that. He was cheaper than the other place I called for chimney cleaning and he gave me a free estimate for the cleaning and the repair of the cap on the phone. Turned out the cap just needed to be cleaned of leaves for now, he didn't charge for that. He explained everything he did and left no mess. You wouldn't even know he was here.

The chimney was cleaned very well as best as I can tell. They gave me a very fair price on a standard-size model to replace the rotted chimney cover. In fact, they ordered one that was too small, and had to re-order. They came out a separate day to install it, no cost for the order error or re-visit. They cleaned the dryer vent as well, and found a screen that was clogged near the roof. In addition, they removed an old satellite dish from my chimney since I didn't have service and didn't have the means to remove it myself safely (Added a few bucks to the bill, totally fair and much appreciated). Huge kudos for the service given, good communication, fair prices, and honest work. Also left a really cool pen with a built in light as a contact card... best pen ever.

Another great company. It was a family business. All and all they came out to clean the gutters before we came back from vacation. They were able to do the work without having to be supervised. He is just a nice guy. Small business people seemed to be honest and genuine.

Excellent! Dennis Verkest and his wife arrived on time. The dryer vent was cleaned both from the inside and outside of the house. Work was performed efficiently and completely. Dennis was pleasant and professional .

I have used Dennis for several years to clean my dryer vent and gutters. He does a great job from start to finish. I have a tile roof plus a splash panel which I think makes it very difficult to clean the gutters. There is an oak tree covering part of my roof so there is alot of debris that needs to be removed. Dennis is very fast and efficient while also being very particular in making sure the job is done properly. I highly recommend his work!

The sweep arrived about fifteen minutes late for the appointment. Upon arrival he inspected the fireplace and noted that there appeared to have been minimal usage. He found no defects or need for cleaning and explained what I need to watch for. Next, he inspected the dryer vent and cleaned the line. He also sealed the area that was loose and made adjustments to the vent line in the laundry room to make if neater and more effective. Before leaving, he took the time to explain proper operation of the fireplace and explain signs that will indicate the requirement for further service on the dryer vent.

I contacted the company through Angie's List, and got a call back the next day. Dennis was clear about the prices for his services. We set an appointment for two days later. Dennis was prompt, and had his equipment set up quickly. The service didn't take long, and everything was left spotless. Birds had been nesting in my chimney, so I was relieved to have it cleaned and inspected by a professional. A new chimney cap was installed, and I shouldn't have birds nesting anymore. Overall, the experience was very positive.

The dryer vent cleaning went smoothly and quickly. I made sure the dryer worked properly before Mr. Verkest left. I had used Mr. Verkest 2 years ago and was very satisfied. All aspects of his work were excellen this timet and he left a refrig magnet and nice pen. Thanks Mr. V.

He put the vacuum and all that kind of thing. He was very helpful with my dryer vents. He gave a lot of good information. He cleaned up my dryer vents and he went beyond that. I spent $150 on his services. I will most definitely use his services again in the future.

The contact person’s name is Dennis. They do a really great job. We actually didn’t use them for chimney sweep because we don’t have a fire place. We used them for our dryvit cleaning because they do dryvit cleaning and several other different things. They do pressure washing and rain gutters, and different things like that. They just did a really excellent job. We had actually talked with a couple of other people and tried to find out why our dryer was not drying our clothes. They were the only ones that came and explained to us why it wasn’t drying and fixed the problem. I don’t remember how much we spent on their services. They were excellent. Their price was good. They were good in everything. We will definitely use their services again in the future.

Provided estimate via phone the week prior to service. Arrived on time and went right to work cleaning the chimney after dressing appropriately and covering exposed areas. Job was completed within 45 minutes and everything looked clean. Dennis also fixed a broken piece of the fireplace at no extra cost. The roof vent was inspected. I would recommend this company to others.
