Description of Work: When we had the first chimney sweep appointment cancelled and then put off until '1/6/2015 unless we have a cancellation' because of equipment failure my husband was upset and asked that I find another company that would keep their appointment and make it 'yesterday', he was that upset about the delay in service. I spoke with Dennis and he was not only within $10.of (higher than) the quote given by the first company, he gave me his first available appointment of 12/30. His responsiveness to my plight, his follow up through the message board, his professionalism in handling the first call and (hopefully)to my having cancelled my appointment (by phone message) when the first company came through with an appointment for today (12/29) ALL make him someone I would call for future work or recommend to others in need of quick chimney sweep service. It isn't hard to guess that we would most likely have been pleased with his 'sweep/inspection' if he'd continued to perform at the professional level he did in responding to my call and setting /confirming an appointment. I wish, in retrospect, that I had called him/his company first.

Description of Work: Cleaned and inspected fireplace and chimney. Also repaired crackss in firebox. He was wonderful! Had his chimney sweep hat and all. It was a husband and wife team. Did a great job and were so very pleasant.I will use them again. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: The owner of the company came out and inspected all areas of the chimney of the house we are buying, he took his time and after he was done he explained in detail what he found wrong and right with the chimney. |I will be hiring him to clean the chimney when it needs it.

Description of Work: Dennis and Sue arrived as scheduled. They were very efficient and very knowledgeable. Dennis showed me all the nuances of my chimney, cleaned it, declared it safe and off they went. Very professional, highly experienced and honest.

Description of Work: I had two 20 foot gutters that were clogged up with leaves and other debris. I obtained the number of "A Chimney Sweep & More. LLC" Dennis Verkest from Angies List and made an appointment. He gave me a price over the phone of $150.00. They came out on August 26, 2011 and completed the job in less that 30 minutes. Since I did not have any major blockages, he only charged me $100.00. I've had several rains since then and the gutters work fine. I am happy with these people and would call them again for any of the services they provide.
