Ben was great. He was on time when he came to the house for an estimate. They did the work 3 days later, even in the rain. The supervisor, Matt, was very good as was his entire crew. They removed a 65 - 75 foot pine tree in approximately 4 hours and when they left, you could not tell that the tree had ever been there in the first place. They did an excellant cleaning job and I highly recommend them to everyone needing this type of service.

The owner was a good salesman and they had great equipment. The final product was average; it wasn't top notch but I got my money's worth. It just wasn't as good as I have had in the past. When they initially got here everything was fine. About half way through the job, the supervisor got a phone call and had to leave to go to another job. That was when it went downhill. The workmen weren't on their toes like they were before and they didn't finish up the way I would like. I had to go out and tell them what to do. They had some widow-makers hanging from the trees and they missed some limbs. After they left I said, and ldquo;They should have gotten this and they should have gotten that.and rdquo; If the supervisor had stayed I feel like it would have been a good job. I would probably use them again but I would make my feelings known and I would have to have an upfront agreement that the supervisor would stay on the job. They had excellent equipment and they were quick and did everything on site. They weren't the lowest price but they weren't the highest either. They were here on time.

I received a free estimate from Ben within 24 hours of contacting their company -- it's clear that Ben just plain loves trees and knows how to take care of them. He described their entire operation and all of the equipment that they'd use to accomplish the job. Their quote was the most competitive by far and they were extremely helpful in adjusting to my schedule (military/tdy/short notice deployments and all). Kodiak's operation is amazing to see. They showed up to the minute of when they said they would with their 10-15 person crew, mulching truck, stump grinders, post pullers, cherry pickers, ladders, climbing gear, and lots of chainsaws -- big chainsaws, little chainsaws, chainsaws on belts, chainsaws on poles ... sweet! They finished everything in about 6 hours and exceeded expectations by a huge margin. The offending stumps were removed, vines and shrubs that have been a plague on the house for the last 10 years were eradicated, and the two oaks they trimmed have never looked better. They even assisted my fence contractor in pulling up a few chain link fence post from a 60 year old fence that surrounded my property because they saw he needed help ... no charge to me. I recommend Kodiak above all tree service companies in the area -- professional, efficient, environmentally conscientious. I will be using them again in the future.

They did what they said they would do. They are reliable and established.

I was extremely impressed with Kodiak Tree Service from start to finish. Ben arrived promptly as promised to give me an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable to remove 4 trees and grind the stumps. On the scheduled date for the tree removal, an 8-member crew showed up at my house right on time and got to work. They were polite and hard working and completed the entire job in 1 1/2 hrs including completely cleaning up all debris. I would recommend Kodiak Tree Service to anyone.

They came quickly and did a good job. The price was good.

When they thinned out the oak trees, they cut the limbs and cleaned up everything. They also hauled away all of the debris. The person that comes out to give the estimate is professional. He is thorough when giving the estimate. I will use them again in the future.

I had asked for a detailed estimate, as I wasn't sure if I was just going to have them top the trees or remove them totally. I did not recieve what I requested, but was given a verbal quote of $1200 to take down both trees.

They were like a navy seal team for tree cutters. They know what they are doing. They clean up everything. They have a fair price.

The Kodiak team will be back again early this spring for the next step in the care of my Maple.

They had the best service.They cleaned up good and everything.The price was not really the lowest but they had the best equipment and everything to suit my needs.

The total bill was $900 which we ended up having a neighbor go in half on one part of it with us. We had to get quotes from several different companies because we were splitting the bill with our neighbor who was out of town, and dealing with their realtor. The realtor suggested getting an additional quote from them. Their price was good and they were punctual. I sat and watched them and they did not drop one whim on anything. I had a pergola that had a covering over it and it was new, I hadn't anchored it down. I wanted to make sure that we could move it off incase in would be in the way because it was practically right underneath the tree.

They did an absolutely marvelous job and the cleanup was impressive. Punctual for the initial appointment for an estimate and on the day of removal. I had some last minute scheduling issues because of my job and they were more than accomodating. In addition, there had been a stump (~18 - 24 inches high) remaining in the front yard from a tree my neighbor had cut down on our property line. I didn't notice right away, but they took care of that as well. Extremely pleased with their service and will definitely go back to them.

We didn't dislike a thing, they were absolutely phenomenal.

The estimator came on time for our appointment, and gave a detailed verbal estimate. He said that he had a person that sub-contracts with them to handle the fence work. We never did receive a detailed written estimate that was requested for our insurance adjuster. I received an invoice with a general description of the work done when my husband paid the bill the next day at their office. They took a few weeks to get to our job after it was awarded to them, as they had several other jobs to complete that were scheduled before ours. The crew came by 8am on the date they promised. All the work was completed in just a few hours with about 8 men and some large equipment. All the debris was removed, even all of the leaves. One complaint: The replacement of the fence panels did not turn out well. One of the crossbars of one of the panels broke when they dropped it on the ground, and it could not be placed back where it was without some repair. It appears that there was some damage to the planks on a few of the other panels after they moved them, and they were not placed back in the same order as they were taken down. The broken panel was left on the ground. The fence looked horrible. I have had to hire another company to replace that portion of the fence.

I first contacted Kodiak in the latter part of the winter months. Ben came out immediately and explained what was needed, giving me an excellent estimate with a range of $50. He told me to call back when the tree had started budding, which I did. The team came out, totally looked over the tree and we discussed where we would like the tree to fill out again. I was so happy to learn that this can happen, with time and care. They did their work within about 45 minutes and were gone, until next year for phase 2. It could not have been easier and I truly appreciate the time they took to explain everything.

This is an outstanding contractor. Prompt and completed the job to expected standards. I strongly recommend this company!

They were very generous with their quantity. While I paid for 5 yards of mulch I'll bet I got closer to 6! They are very friendly with a professional, clean office. They loaded my trailer quickly.

After our pool and screen were put in, we realized we had not cleared enough trees around the area. One pine tree was at least 18" in diameter and very tall and only about 2 feet from the perimeter of the screened area. The crew arrived early in the morning as promised and worked until late in the afternoon to remove the trees. At my request, they took down 6 more trees that were not in the original estimate, letting me know up front what the total cost would be. They advised that a tree should be removed from our property behind our fence as it was leaning and would easily cause damage during a hurricane. I called the City and they approved its removal and paid the company to remove it while they were on site. The crew worked well together and did the work as promised, paying special attention to protect our landscaping. The crew chief communicated throughout the day to let me know what they were working on and any special concerns. The cleanup was excellent.

Kodiak was very professional. They came out to do an estimate quickly, the job cost exactly what the estimate was. The came on time as scheduled, did an amazing job and cleaned up after themselves. Very professional. I would definitely recommend.
