Richard was great. Had back up of sewage into the shower and toilet overflow. He came out same day we called. Diagnosed the problem. Made an appointment, was on time, worked hard throughout the day. The job became more involved than originally thought. Had to dig under a concrete room, pull up part of the deck. Put all new plumbing under the house.

Excellent. Richard went right to the problem and the drain was blocked in 3 places. He cleaned it out and was very helpful telling us what to do and what not to do to avoid this in the future. I have put him on our call list for a plumber and will call him right away next time he is needed. I feel the cost was very reasonable considering his quick response and work.

He did not have the big items, but the stoppers he replaced immediately. He told us he would return the next morning with the kitchen parts, and he was right on time.

It went very well. I called and explained the situation. They were there within 45 minutes. The cause quickly diagnosed. Repairs were completed in less than 2 hours. They allowed plenty of time for the repairs to seal, and then filled in the hole after determining that there were no leaks. All in all, a positive experience.

Really great service! Unfortunately issue was not resolved, newly remodeled shower had drain issue, plumber recommended contacting installer for resolution. We have used Richard Sturgeon for 5 years for various problems snd have always been satisfied. Prompt and honest.

Set an appointment. Texted the address. He did not show. No phone call. Called and texted that morning to find out an ETA. No response

i called yesterday afternoon after choosing him from Angies List. Rich arived this morning, Fixed it. It needed the entire flush assemby replaced -including fill valve, flapper and supply line. Good work. Good additional advice. Good price. I'll be calling him for any future needs!

Prompt and courteous. Finished the job in one day. Also installed a new kitchen faucet for us. Will be using this company again!

It went very well. Mike came out and was very knowledgable. Not only did he fix the drains I was having problems but he took care of several other things that needed to be done. He was not pushy and told us the garbage disposal was not leaking but was very rusty so would have to be replaced before long. There was no pressure to do it with this visit. My garbage disposal (15 years old and noisy)was all rusty and not chopping up the food like it was supposed to. I knew this but had been avoiding the issue. Our hot water heater which was 16 years old needed replacing and couldn't be drained without the possibility of it cracking. I wanted to have a way to turn off the water to the whole house when we were gone without going to the valve by the street and digging up the valve to turn it off. The outside valve didn't work well. He rerouted a turnoff valve by the water softener and put a valve on it so I could easily reach it and turn it on and off when we are away. He explained that we should turn it on very slowly after it was turned off for a period of time so that the water can fill up slowly and we wouldn't get a lot of air in the pipes which could crack them. They came back the very next day with the appropriate parts and did all of he work. They were very professional and did a good job.

This company responds very quickly! I called for installation and they came in less than 24 hours! Richard came to our rescue when a different plumber bulked at the requested job! His crew is outstanding...friendly, courteous and efficient! Both Mike and Nick did an exemplary job, which was much appreciated after just moving into our remodeled home! We're now enjoying the results of your nice work! Thank you guys! We'll definitely keep you in mind for our future plumbing needs!!

I was extremely pleased with the services provided. The appointment was easily scheduled and he arrived promptly. He quickly diagnosed the problems and was able to make the necessary repairs. He knew what he was doing and did his job professionally and with a pleasant demeanor. I would recommend this provider to any friend and will definitely call on them the next time a repair is needed. We had a leak in our downstairs ceiling. I called Richard Sturgeon, Inc. Mike came out, evaluated the issue, looked at the ceiling and determined that no services were needed at this time (washing machine issue which leaked through the gap between our tile and carpet upstairs). He didn't charge us for the service call and was extremely friendly and helpful. I would call them again in a heartbeat.

While the work he did was great he only fixed the toilet and could have done additional work, so he lost future business. He was on-time and everything including the price was great.

What can I say? Richard is a brainiac! He knows everything about everything there is to know related to plumbing, running water, pipes etc..simply amazing!!! Mike came over to assist and shared that he had mentored with the owner of a big time plumbing company in Tampa Bay area and has done big commercial projects (Hospitals etc) in the past. He is equally as knowledgeable and he and Richard make a great team to solve any plumbing issues you may have. Honest, reliable and really talented!!! Really know what they are doing. No job is to big a challenge for these guys..they got this!! Thanks Richard and Mike for a job well done!!! Oh, I forgot to mention! My water heater flooded the garage 3 hrs before we had an appointment; they arranged their schedule so they could come to us and make sure we did not miss our appointment. Now THAT is service!!

We were pleased with their quick response and install. Richard and Mike were professional and efficient. Set an appointment time and he arrived as scheduled . The flushometer tank system commodes had to be ordered and within a week they were installed. Once the job was finished Richard made sure we were pleased and satisfied with the install. I am so happy with this service provider! Responded quickly to my emails via Angie's List messages. Came to our house quickly, diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it quickly, and charged us less than we expected to pay. I'm just delighted.

He checked all pipes because my toilet was backing up, even removing the toilet which was quite a job because it had been glued down. He was here a long time yet charged me less than I was quoted by other companies just for one hour without toilet removal. He determined that the problem was a blockage in the toilet itself.

We thought the low hot water pressure was due to a faulty shut off valve. We called Richard to replace it. He determined the shut off was fine and the problem was with the pipe coming out of the water heater. He replaced the copper piping, cleaned out the bad stuff that had built up and now our tenants are thrilled. Used him again to replace toilet tank guts that were leaking. He sent someone else to do that work and he was quick, professional and did a good job as well. I should add that they both cleaned up the work area and left nothing behind for us to pick up after. Will definitely call Richard Sturgeon for other plumbing needs in the future!

We purchased a new kitchen faucet to replace the old one (leaking). I thought I could do the job myself but when I looked under the sink I realized it was not going to be an easy job. The water filtration system and garbage disposal were in the way. My wife called Monday afternoon and Michael came the next morning. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He looked under the sink and was shocked to see how the builders installed the old faucet. It was the wrong type faucet for the granite counter and sink. He advised us up front that it was going to cost more than first quoted, which I expected. It was so difficult for him to work on he had to remove the garbage disposal, cut the drain out then cut the faucet out. After installing the faucet with new water lines he had to repair the drain. The job was well done. I'm glad I didn't tackle it myself.

I recently bought a home and after two months the sewer started backing up. The local utility, FGUA, would not look into it without me first providing them with a DVD video of the sewer line, proving the problem was their responsibility.
