+ -1 moreREPAIRMAN WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND ABLE. ARRIVED ABOUT THE TIME AS PROMISED. FAST...TOOK 20 MINUETS. I ASKED FOR ESTIMATE OF COST WHEN HE ARRIVED AND HE TOLD ME $58 SERVICE CALL AND $20 FOR NECESSARY CABLES...WHICH IS WHAT HE CHARGED.
Description of Work: REPLACED FRAYED LIFTER CABLES ON BOTH SIDES, ADJUSTED DOOR FOR SQUARE CLOSING AS WAS REQUESTED ON MY PHONE CALL. HE LUBRICATED ALL THE HINGES WITH WD-40 AS AN EXTRA AND CHECKED SPRING TENSION FOR CORRECT TORQUE.

The technician (Allan) was helpful in instructing me on the operation of the unit. He went out of his way to help ensure that my remotes were working properly and that I knew how to calibrate them.
Description of Work: The technician serviced the garage door unit and tested the remotes; both hand-held and exterior wall mounted.

+ -1 moreThe 3 man crew arrived on time and the date arranged. It was a well orchestrated event, these men had obliviously worked together many times. All the old hardware including hangers and tracks were removed. Total installation is new. Also had a Genie screw drive opener installed for $300..$100 for installation and $200 for opener. (Thought that was a little steep). Especially the installation charge. But the total price, $1500, for door and opener installed I thought was good. Crew did a good job and cleaned up fairly well. Only problem I had was with the office. Door has to be inspected by the county. Procedure is to call the Parker door office and they will schedule a ''DAY'' for your inspection. Day came and went, no inspector!! Pasco county had nothing scheduled. Called Parker and they said OOPS, sorry, computer error. Inspection rescheduled and everything ok. But still, is was a wasted day waiting. But I did get a highly rated door and a opener for a good price
Description of Work: Had a new 2 car insulated steel garage door installed ( 16' x 7' ). The door is rated for 140 mph winds and is manufactured by AMARR. Research on the Internet indicates this is a good garage door. Also had a Genie screw drive door opener installed.

+ -1 moreI was pleased with Parker Doors. Reasonable price and quality work. They were 2 hours late for the scheduled appointment. Conform schedule on date agreed. Call if you are doing to be so delayed.
Description of Work: Parker 3 man crew removed old garage door & railings & springs and isntalled a new wind code garage door with reinforced steel beams and railings and new springs. They explained every step of what they were doing and cleaned up after their work was done.
