2/11/14 my vehicle left me stranded for the 3rd time in 2 days. I went to the closest mechanic ( I drive past 15 on the way to the dealership, they determined low in behold my battery was original to my car and was no good. Strange since I just paid for this on my last visit there for my oil change) I told 3 service advisors that I paid for something that was never done. They insisted it was not an original battery to my 2009 camry, and the one I had was definitely different. They insisted they would cover the battery since it was under warranty, they drive it out and twala, it looks different. I told them, it looks different this time because they actually were forced to change it, why doesn't it look like the last battery? They told me it's because they use a different battery in 2015, verses 2014 batteries. BS. We are 40 days into the new year. While standing there another customer told me today they did the same thing to her on telling her she needed a fuel injector service performed. She had to tell them she too paid for that 10,000 miles prior. The guy couldn't handle me being irate about the situation and kept telling me I needed to be professional about the situation or would not help me. All I wanted was them to reimburse me in services for the $20 I spent to the first mechanic who checked my battery when I was stranded on the road. Never again will I return to this dealership. They also asked me if I took a picture of the first battery I complained about. So make sure you future customers do this per their suggestion.

I trust him and I have never had such a good mechanic. It is 30 years old and runs like new. Dustin Zimmerman will come out and check the car and give me a list of things that needs to be done. We will discuss and decide what I will do. I go by if it needs the repairs. I followed him to the new dealership. I have used him for about 7 years now. He is outstanding when it comes to Toyota's.

Part was not in stock. They ordered it and it arrived the next day. They ordered it without me paying any money as we were unsure that we were ordering the correct part as the wiring diagram I had did not match the one they had on the computer. When it arrived I looked at it and it looked like it would not fit. I asked if I could return it if it did not fit and they said yes if I did not damage the bag that the part came in. Unfortunately, it did not fit and I need to return the part. I feel that paying $69 for two wires about 36 inches long with a connector on each end is was overpriced, but figured it was better to replace it with a factory part. Since it did not fit and it was expensive besides, I will make my own wire harness.

They are the best car dealership I have ever dealt with. Bruno is a salesman there, and he is great. I purchased our pick up truck from him and also traded in a car. He was able to get all of the paper work done on a Sunday and even dropped off the car and paperwork at my home. He really goes above and beyond to satisfy customers. I have referred several people to him. In their waiting room, they have a manicurist, massage chairs, and even a small movie area while you wait. They are all just great! Everyone there is very friendly and professional.

I have used this dealer on several occasions for routine scheduled maintenance and oil changes. Overall, the quality is very good. However, this dealer is very busy and despite having an appointment, there can be long wait times. It would not be a problem perhaps, if you drop your car off, but can be if you need to wait for the repairs to be completed.

Bought a new Prius there in 2012 and have been back for all maintenance. Posh facilities, generally excellent service. Do make sure they adjust the tire pressure when they rotate the tires (Prius is 35psi front and 32psi rear).

Most of the time, they're wonderful. I've had one customer service person that I've had a problem with actually there. That's been the only person. He did try to convince me that I needed some stuff done in my car that I knew better then. But outside of that, I never had a problem there.
Description of Work: I used Toyota Of Tampa Bay for my car. My car needed a whole lot of maintenance at that time. I had to take the car from Tampa to New York. They had to replace the battery and did the brakes.

This dealer runs a first-class operation. A valet meets you at the service area (they don't take tips). A service manager comes out immediately to talk about your needs. The waiting room is comfortable and spacious, with free coffee, wi-fi, and TV. They also have a limo service if you want to be driven somewhere. Food is available on-site. When I found that my husband's car needed brake service, the manager offered to buy me breakfast. He also carefully explained the need for the new brakes. All in all, a great experience (and I am a skeptic!).

We had dealt with the same service advisor for years before he left to go to another of the owner's dealerships last year. My wife and I asked him (Jason) when we needed to change the transmission oil. He said he checked and this car had no-change oil, and to change it would cost $350+ and take a couple of days. We were concerned when the transmission had problems at 60K miles earlier this year. I contacted Toyota in California and opened a complaint and was given a reference #. We took the car to Toyota of Tampa to determine the problem. We thought surely there would be an adjustment to the cost from Toyota as the no-change oil was supposed to be good for over 100K miles. We were told the car needed a new transmission. My wife talked to a service advisor and was led to believe she would be getting a and quot;newand quot; transmission. I was at the dealership while the car was being worked on and talked to the Service Manager telling him we had been told this car had no-change oil. I gave him the reference number from my California call. He told me and later my wife that he would follow-up. The service advisor also told my wife he could give her a discount of $1000 on the repair. He neglected to mention this was no doubt the refund the rebuild shop gives to get the old transmission core back. The transmission was a rebuilt not new. The Service Manager never got back to us so I assume he did nothing to follow-up. When we picked up the car, I asked a technician if this car did in fact have no-change oil. He checked under the hood and said and quot;NOand quot; it had regular transmission oil. If we were properly informed we would have had the oil changed at 30K miles like we do on all other cars. On May 31st, I got an email from the owner of Toyota of Tampa Bay asking for my opinion of their service. I outlined just what occured with the transmission just as above. Again there was no response. Really disappointing as we have had both our 07 models serviced only at this dealership since we bought them in 07.
Description of Work: The transmission on our 07 Solara was acting up at 60K miles eventhough we had been told this car had the no-change oil.

Instead of sitting in a waiting room being bored out of our minds, we had several options to pass the time: watch a movie in the theater upstairs, get a manicure, get a massage, watch one of two TVs. We bought breakfast from the little cafe and enjoyed it in the showroom, then went upstairs to sit in the big-ole plush armchairs in the theater. If we'd had kids or a Wi-fi, there would have been even more options. It was a very busy Saturday, yet we were in and out in about 90 minutes, car wash included. People were hopping all over the place trying to please us. We felt very special.
Description of Work: We came in for our 6-month service appointment on our Corolla, warranty work. Oil change, car wash and inspection.

The salesman was nice but I think the thing that stands out is that I have been driving Toyota's for a long time and I just wanted to buy another vehicle that I would be familiar with so I wouldn't have to learn everything about it so I traded in a Toyota for another Toyota manly for the familiarity and also they have always been good service. In terms of price I didn't really compare to anything and they are more than responsive.

After 15 years with no car, it was time to buy one. I wanted a Toyota because of its reliability; and I wanted a new car because of the warranties, financing and, yes, new car smell.I wasn't ready to buy yet (I thought), but there was nothing keeping me from going for a test drive. I'd done my homework, and I took the bus up to the dealership to test drive Toyotas. I had it in mind to test a Prius C, a Yaris and a Corolla.There were two other nice young men standing at the front, but it was Tony Carter who approached the squat woman in a white straw hat carrying a bag for the bus - my look just screamed "bag lady," but Tony saw past that. I told him that I was in the market and I wanted to test drive some cars. They had no Yarises available, nor Prius C's - the Prius C's leave the lot as soon as they come in, someone else told me. However, I could test-drive a Prius. On our drive, I talked a mile a minute about what-all I needed in a car, how I was going to use it; at the same time, it became clear that a Prius was not right for me (although it's obviously a good car too). When I test-drove a Corolla, I knew that that was the one; it would meet my needs much better.Tony saw to my every need during the financing, paperwork, insurance and inspection process, i.e. the boring stuff: he kept me in unsweetened iced tea on a scorching day when, on a holiday weekend, the place was jumping. He took me on a tour of the dealership, and I was very impressed with how it caters to its customers: there is a child's playroom, a teen room, a study area with free wifi, and a theater room with a number of big, fat recliners. At least on weekends, there are manicure and massage services available. There is also a cafe and an automotive accessory store. Community service awards were all over the place, almost literally seething from the walls. The financial officer - the one in charge of the final signing of documents - was clear, but not pushy, on additional warranties. He, too, had a sense of humor about a boring process. It didn't occur to me until long afterward to negotiate the price of the car, but that's not a dealership failing.Before he let me drive the Corolla away, Tony made sure that I was comfortable with all the controls and processes I'd need to know in order to drive it. He made sure to let me know, about 20 times, about the upcoming free New Toyota Owners' event in June. He even set my first maintenance appointment. I went into this dealership to test drive, and I drove off in a car that I felt was completely right for me and that I would feel safe driving. Now I have a relationship with a good dealership, one that will take care of my car and me, so that I don't have to ride the bus any more.

We found the car and loved it. We purchased it and discover that it did not have the owner's manual, nor did we have the second set of keys. After much calling and going by the office, I was able to track down the second set. But we still don't have the manual. It has been 8 months since we purchased the car and the light for the engine is on. The air conditioning stopped working 3 months ago. This is the worst experience I have had with a car. I thought the dealership always put cars in good condition for sale, but it is not the case here.

They pretty much do anything that needs to be done for the car. My cars have never had any major problems too. They are very convenient since they are close. I have never called them for an appointment. I have always just pulled up my car and they have accommodated me. They have got an internet connection in their office. So I can log into my computer while I am waiting there. If it would take a long time, then they will take me home and then pick me up. It’s a comfortable place to go to. I don’t have anything to compare their price with.
Description of Work: We take our Toyotas to Toyota of Tampa Bay for periodic service. My last interaction with them was about three months ago. If needed, they do change the nuts, bolts or the filters when I take my cars in. They also work on the brakes.

I drove into the driveway of the service center where they meet the customers. I couldn't see why but they took a few minutes to come to me to get my information. After that, I went inside to check in with one of the customer service people which I found confusing. There was no system in place and customers didn't know where to stand for the next available customer service person. People who came in later were being helped before others who had been waiting 10-15 minutes. That was not a good first impression. After that, however, it went very quickly and was organized well. I gave the price an N/A because I didn't get another estimate or compare their price to another mechanic. However, I like that they do a thorough inspection which my local mechanics don't do. Although my first impression was that they were disorganized and slow for what appeared to be no apparent reason, everyone I dealt with was professional.
