I called Tampa Sliding Door on Mon. and Robert answered right away. We scheduled a time for him to come out the next day Tues. He called me to say he was ahead of schedule and could come out an hour earlier and I said ok. He examined my 3 sets of sliding doors and repaired the set with the broken rollers. The other 2 sets had screens that were installed backwards and made a screeching sound. My husband was able to fix them so we avoided additional charges. They were at the house about 15 minutes and the doors are working properly.

They were on task, and did the job. It was a smooth process.
Description of Work: They were very quick to recognize the problem with the sliding doors. They basically had to reverse a couple of the doors and anchor the end doors. There were 4 doors and 2 of the doors had to be reversed with the other 2. This fixed the way the doors functioned. They also fixed the screen were not working correctly because the doors were installed incorrectly.

Our sliding glass door had been very hard to open for a very long time. My husband was finally ready to fix it but, while searching online for where to buy parts, I came across Tampa Sliding Door Repair. We thought this might be the better way to go than DIY. After checking here on Angie's List, I called and spoke with Robert to get a quote. Although, I had not gotten other quotes, I thought his price was very reasonable so we scheduled an appointment for a few days later. Robert and his team arrived on time and were very pleasant and professional. They replaced the rollers, even putting on a better tandem roller. The door now slides with ease. Our only regret is we didn't do this sooner! I would definitely use them again.

Badly. Never had work done due to company's unresponsiveness.
Description of Work: Called for appt for estimate. Came out and looked at doors. Never heard back. Called back yesterday to ask about what happened. Spoke to a man who I could hardly understand. Said he would find out what happened and call back. No callback. Im not gonna beg to hire a company to fix by sliding patio screen door rollers. Bad phone etiquette and responsiveness. Its always funny that after I write a negative post, the company will call right away. What if I wasnt a member of Angie's. Would they give a crap?

I do not know if this is a good price for sliding glass doors, or not. I needed the doors to work properly, so I just said yes. You may want to have estimates. The company did the job they said they would do. They are quick and efficient. They return phone calls and they show up when they say they are going too.
Description of Work: I had 2 sets of sliding glass doors that were original to my 1984 house. The large sliders in my living room were heavy and hard to open and close. The side yard sliders would not roll properly or lock correctly. I called and they answered promptly. They had an opening that afternoon in my neighborhood, so we made an appointment. They were on time. They looked at my doors, diagnosed the problem, and said they could fix my doors. They quote by the door, not the set of doors. You can save money, if you only fix one side of your sliding glass doors. I guess a lot of people do this, but I wanted both sides to open properly, so it was a bit more money. That is the only reason, I gave a "b" for price. They offered to come back another time, so that I could get more quotes, if I wanted. New rollers were installed and aligned for both sets of sliding glass doors.

They were really good. The price was very fair. They spent so much time explaining things to me and what I should do and how I should handle it. They were a real nice coupe of guys. I had asked a couple of people in the area who really didn't have the expertise and they would have charged me more. They really figured out the issue that I had. They came the same day and I thought I would have to wait a week or so. They were very professional. I am pretty critical and I was so excited that I got somebody that I could trust in my home. I saved their card and I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: I used Tampa Sliding Door Repair to fix my sliding doors. They actually had to come in and do some sanding and change something on the locks because both the screens and slider were not closing. It looked like it wasn't angled correctly when my home was built so they fixed it.

They gave me a quick estimate. They came out on time and they were punctual. They also fixed some windows which had some problem. I would definitely recommend them. I was expecting them to fix up the windows but they did that too. The overall work went on great. They were professional and did a good job and a fair attempt. They also gave me discount for the additional work they did. I would rate them high overall. I would definitely use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Tampa Sliding Door Repair was in December 2010. The last time I used them was for fixing up the slider. They also fixed some windows which had some problem.
