We had a clogged toilet and a shower that wasn't draining. I picked a random plumber off the internet (not Schleman) thinking we had a small problem to fix. They high pressured me to spend $3600 to jackhammer through my living room floor to cut through tree roots in my line and wanted a decision immediately. I decided to check Angie's List and called Schleman Plumbing based on their excellent reviews. I am so glad I did! Mike R. came that same morning and explained my overall plumbing situation and all the options available to me. Then he showed me exactly what he was doing and why. He was extremely professional and when he left, I had an unclogged toilet and a shower that drained, along with tips on how to deal with possible tree root problems without tearing my house apart, saving me over $3000.00. I have recommended Schleman to my neighbors and am happy that I now have a plumbing company I can trust.

Both bathroom toilets backed up flooding the floor during an early morning shower. I turned off the water and vacuumed it up then called my plumber of 30 years (who works solo). A message on his phone indicated he was out of town for the week, so I turned to Angie's List. Although there seemd to be many good choices with fine recommendations, I calledl Schleman Plumbing Service because I liked the idea of a 4th generation business. To my surprise and delight, they got a plumber to my house an hour after I called them. Jeff took care of the clogged drains by going up on the roof and snaking out all the drains as my regular plumber has had to do many times in the 30 years my family has lived here. Jeff was also able to fix a leaky kitchen faucet I had not mentioned in my original call for service. I found Schleman Plumbing prices reasonable and appreciated getting the 10% Angie's List member discount.

I called the office, and they quickly scheduled me for the first appointment for the next morning. they took the details of the capacity and height of our current heater, explaining they would want one ready in the truck in-case it needed to be replaced, which, due to its age, was likely. The plumber Jeff, called us on his way, told us where he was, and that he would be with us on time. He was corteous, and worked hard, replacing our water heater. He cleared up all our area where we had wet towels from the leak too. The office also handled our permit also. I would definitely use this company again, it was so hassle free.

I called on a Sunday Morning and my call was immediately picked up. I was told I would receive a call from the plumber on duty, which I quickly did. The Plumber (Juan) was polite, punctuational and did a great job. Overall a great experience and I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

Juan was the plumber. He called ahead, was prompt, professional and kept the area clean. He was so polite, listening to two old geezers rambling on and answering all of our questions. I would call Schleman's again, especially if they sent Juan.

We called Schleman after getting a quote 3 times higher from a "national name" company. These guys were fantastic! Despite the fact that it was a Sunday evening, they arrived quickly and worked efficiently. They also gave us their rate over the phone, something the other company refused to do and they didn't try and sell extra services or hide any charges. The serviceman was clean, polite and professional and just a joy to work with. He finished the rather straightforward job efficiently and was done inside an hour. This company was a breath of fresh air and I recommend them unreservedly.

I am very impressed with the professionalism and honesty of Schleman Plumbing and specifically, Juan. I thought I cracked the copper pipe that the water faucet/spicket/valve/spout (I don't know plumbing) was attached to, or at least loosened/stripped it badly, when I bumped into it hard. Water was spraying everywhere and it was very loose on there. I got it so it wasn't spraying badly but still flowing out down the side of my house. I called a few places that I found on angieslist to get quotes, I do that with everything. I found out that most plumbing companies don't go out to the location without a service/call fee. Schleman gave me a rough estimate based on my description and it beat their competition. One place had a technician near my house when I called so he swung by quickly to give me an accurate quote. The quote sounded way too high so I said no thanks. Well, I learned later that he must have fixed it. But, I didn't know that until Juan from Schleman was out there. He called me and confirmed that he was looking at the correct spout and it wasn't leaking at all and was sturdy and no signs of damage. I was shocked but he described that area of my house well so I believed him. He asked me to come out and look just in case. I work close to home so that was fine. The technician for the other plumbing place that wanted to charge me over $200 to fix it, must have just fixed it for free since he was out there and it must have been a very easy fix. Juan could have said he fixed it and charged me and I would have believed him and paid. He could have also charged me something for him driving out there, but he said no charge (this may be rare, they were being very nice) since he didn't do anything. I felt horrible and embarrassed, it was definitely not like that in the morning when I left for work, but Juan was very kind and understanding. Anyways, I really lucked out today, I got it fixed for free and I definitely found my future plumbing company in Schleman. I know I will need a plumber in the future and I will be going with Schleman and I will also be recommending all my friends to them. And, ask for Juan, not all technicians may be that nice. It isn't every day that you find a company & person with that honesty and compassion.

I left a 'non emergency' message with their service on Saturday. We had a pipe leak above the water heater in the garage, and water there was acceptable for a couple days. We received a call about 8:30 am Monday from the plumber, Juan. VERY IMPRESSIVE; as he properly repeated back my description of the problem. He had me make a slight correction to my weekend 'fix it' so he and I could come to the likely agreement that he did not need to go get a water heater. We most likely needed labor and minor parts. When Juan arrived he introduced hmself, again repeated the issue. I LOVE the repeating, it ensures, to me, that the tech has his mindset in the job as hand, Juan went right to work with very little small talk. Good ... since by now he is on my money. Juan was efficient from first contat until he left. I cannot ask for better work, as I am not a plumber, but I do know a little ... his work will hold as good as or better than the original work. As for price, much less than it could have been ... VERY low price for the relief Juan brought my wife and I. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SCHLEMAN PLUMBING SERVICE TO EVERYONE. Listening to the customer version of the problem is vital. I am certain that sometimes it may not help ... but the plumber won't know that until the job is over. Juan listened to every word I said. He WORKED when he got here. I don't know if he HAS a cell phone ... he was BUSY WORKING and not using one. He was pleased to accept my Angie's List coupon. Make ONE call when you need a plumber. You will be glad you did.

Joe called ahead to confirm he was on his way and showed up on time. He did an excellent job. He worked efficiently and cleaned up when he was done.

Sunday night after dinner we discovered that there was no hot water to do the dishes. After we spent several hours attempting to troubleshoot and repair the problem ourselves we determined that we needed some professional help. We called at 7:30 am Monday morning and Joe came out to the house within an hour. He spent about 2 hours draining the water heater, cleaning it out (we had a lot of calcium build up) and ultimately replacing one of the heating elements. We were very happy because we had been thinking we probably needed a whole new water heater but Joe was able to get ours running again! This is the second time we have received service from Joe at Schleman Plumbing and we would be happy to call again if we have any other plumbing issues.

Called and very nice lady scheduled appointment on same day. Technician was friendly and Knowledgeable and completed all work very quickly. Very happywith work done.

Overall everything went smoothly and the company has been very good to deal with. We have to coordinate the county water shut off with them. The county gave us a time frame of 9am tell 6pm. Schleman said to call them when they got it shut off and they would be here within an hour. We will call them when ever we have a problem. Jaun was here on time and did a professional job.

I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

While doing a load of laundry, everything backed up and there was nasty sewer water gurgling out witch's cauldron fashion from toilets, bathtub and shower flowing onto bathroom floors and seeping down hallways. I called Schleman and was told they would send the next available plumber. Within an hour Juan arrived at my door. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in an hour. This is why Schleman is my plumbing service.

Came home from vacation late in the evening (11 p.m.) to find both bathroom toilets backed up and standing water in the shower. Our usual plumber does not have 24 hour service. Found Schleman's on Angie's List after trying a few other plumbers that claimed to have 24 hour service. Schleman's was the only one that actually answered the phone. After explaining our problem, I was told that I would be getting a call from the person on call. I received a call within 10 minutes. He came out to the house after midnight and fixed the problem. We are extremely pleased with the service, the fact that we were able to get some to come out so quickly so late in the evening and most of all with the price charged for such a late call. Schleman's, I can't thank you enough! Looks like we have found ourselves a new plumber and I will highly recommend you to anyone that needs a plumber.

Joe from Schleman Plumbing met me at my rental house today to fix a leak. The shower drain in the master bath was leaking. I had another plumber come out last week to fix it but all he did was call a leak detection company and a water mitigation company. The leak detection company was helpful and fair but the water mitigation rep wanted to charge me $2000 to set up fans for 4 days. I declined. When the plumber from last week came to the house on Monday, he would not even look at the drain. He insisted I had to rip out the shower and start from scratch. I was dubious of that claim and called Schleman Plumbing. They came out the next day and after I described the situation, went to work on the drain. Joe pulled it apart and immediately began to fix it. He explained every step of the way and thoroughly tested the drain to insure there were no leaks. He further explained that if it should begin to leak again, I should call them back as their work is guaranteed for 1 year. He was honest and fair. I will be using this company again and will recommend them to my friends.

They did a very good job, and they were very neat. The young man who came out for us was very nice. We needed it done right away, and they had it fixed right away.
