I called for an appointment last week for a service call today between 11am-2pm. At 1:45pm, I called to inquire when the plumber would arrive. Esther, the scheduler said she would contact the plumber and call me back with an estimated time. At 3:15, I hadn't heard back from Esther nor had the plumber arrived. I called again and let Esther know I wasn't happy with the situation. She gave me all the typical replies indicative of poor service and no accountability- we're busy, the plumber had an emergency, etc. I know those things happen, all I wanted was to be kept informed since I made sure someone was home for them. When I told her I wasn't happy with her excuses, she told me I could go elsewhere. So that's what I'm doing. I cannot recommend this plumber due to the fact that they waste your time, are rude, and don't care if they make clients wait all day without updates. I should charge them for a missed service call.

Excellent- had replacement part on truck.

They're very good. Everything was fine. It was leaking and all, and they fixed everything. What was really good about them is that this was done in an older home and they were able to get parts, it was a real complicated job and they did excellent work. They're very good, very good. They come when scheduled and you know they're just excellent.

I use them for my businesses. They are much cheaper than your local providers. They are primary in commercial but I get to use them in residential also. Their prices is superior to everyone else.

They said they needed to run a camera down the line to give me an proper estimate. I paid $250 for them to run the camera down my pipes. They promised an estimate in a couple of days. It has been over a month and still no estimate. I have called multiple times with no luck. They keep promising to send it by email.

Called on a Sunday to set up Monday appointment. On Monday morning I called to confirm that a technician would be coming out. I spoke with Todd, he said their technician would be there around lunch time. After waiting all day I called their office at 4pm and got connected with their after hours service. At which point they offered to send someone out if I'd like to pay for emergency service. I declined as this is the second time I've encountered this situation with Schleman within the last year. It's very disappointing as the service 2 to 3 years ago was good and now it's absent.

Called for emergency service and were told they would invoice company for work. Needed immediate service as we had sewage coming up out of the floor into the lobby of our medical facility. When on call guy returned call to give eta, he stated they couldn't do any work unless we had an account already established which could only be done M-F. Asked why his answering service didn't know that and he replied they don't know anything about our company. Which wasted 30 minutes of our time researching, calling and waiting for a call back. Terrible customer service!

We used this company for extensive plumbing work on our home about three years ago and were very pleased and had recommended them to others. They seemed to have a change in management and things have gone down hill. We needed some work completed prior to the sale of our home and after them not showing up for appointments over the course of three days, we're done with them. It was one excuse after another (the new girl didn't schedule it correctly, another costumer had a plumbing emergency, etc). After calling for the last time and them promising to come out on Saturday, they were no shows again. I wish we would have gone with someone else because the work would already be done and now we've lost multiple days. They really need to make some changes but they've already lost our business.

I ended up replacing the hot water heater myself for $300.

I called around 7:00 am and was told that they would send someone out that morning. At noon I called and was told that it would be soon. At 2:00 I called and was told that the serviceman was on his way. At 4:30 I called and got an answering service...they were closed for the day. I did receive a call the next morning around 10:30 and was told that a serviceman could be there in 20 minutes, but by then I had called another company and the leak was repaired.

I needed the cartridge on my shower faucet replaced so I called on Thursday and pre-arranged an appointment on Friday from 12-4. 3:15 comes around and the person hadn't showed up or called so I called to verify that the plumber was still coming. He said they had written down the wrong number but the person was still coming. 5 PM comes and still no plumber and now they're on service. It's a shame that this happened because the first time they came they were great but you can't be great if you don't show up. Also, if you just don't attempt to find someones contact information, especially if they were a customer before, that about the shoddiest customer service I've ever seen.

Christian called before arriving and promptly began work after I described the problem of sewage backup in my bathtubs after my washer began to drain during the spin cycle. He quickly determined the problem was my main line and not the roof vent because of standing water in my sewer cleanout line. After 45 minutes it was cleared but he went the extra step of digging on my property toward the street to examine the connection with the county's sewer connection to make sure there were no additional leaks. His co-worker Ricky arrived on the scene to assist in this extra step. They went above and beyond what I expected in extremely hot conditions. Thank you!

This is one of the best experience that you can have when you need repair done. The serviceman that came to my house, Chris, went beyond the quality of the requirement for the job. I had gotten a quote from another company for $15000.00 plus, they would cut into the floors of two bathrooms, remove everything from them. It could have cost well over thirty of forty thousand dollars. Chris arrived our my home, on time, pleasant, friendly and most important knowledgeable. Cut a hole in the wall, found the leak, repaired it within two days. The bill was less than $1200.00. I would recommend, call them again Chris was more than a plumber, a friend. Thank you.

Went very well; the plumber Christian was excellent, He showed up when he said he would he spent a long time making sure the clog was cleaned out completely. I was really happy with the way Christian went about getting the job done.

Made an appointment but did show up. Finally called hours later to say they would be another hour. Waited an additional 4 hours, couldn't wait any longer.

I was very pleased with the service I received. They answered my call immediately and had someone to my home within the hour. The serviceman was able to identify the issue quickly, which was a cracked PVC pipe caused by poor installation when the home was built. He began repairs immediately and had it resolved within a timely manner. I would definitely hire this company again for any of my plumbing needs, especially in emergency situations.

We used Schelman's to provide a recommendation and quote on issues found during a home inspection for a potential sale. The gentleman I spoke with regarding scheduling was very nice and accommodating. When the technician arrived, he was punctual, professional and personal. This was a second opinion and quote after the first plumber came out and recommended $3,300 of work. Schleman's was 1/4 of the price on a drain repair, found the leak the first plumbing company couldn't find, and did not offer services that weren't needed as the first company did. I was very impressed! If we buy the house, we will certainly call Schleman's back to handle the work.

After having a horrible experience with a previous plumbing company in Brandon who didn't arrive at the time they committed to, I used Angie's List and called Schleman Plumbing Service. Not only were they kind and helpful over the phone, but the plumber called me immediately from his service truck and was at my house within 45 minutes! Richard was professional, courteous, and fixed all of my plumbing issues in 2 bathrooms in under an hour for a very low cost. How refreshing to do business with a honest, reputable company who cares about maintaining a standard of excellence. I will use this company again, as well as refer my friends!

My 100 year old claw foot tub had stopped draining and I thought I was going to have to replace the drainage pipe from the tub. I called Schleman Plumbing wanting an estimate to replace it and they suggested trying to unclog the pipe before paying to have it replaced. Thankfully due to their honesty and not taking advantage of the situation, he was able to snake out the pipe and save me a significant amount of money. It's wonderful to find an honest plumber who is not just out to make a dollar. I will definitely use this company in the future for any of my plumbing needs!

I called initially and set up an appointment for a Friday. When I called to see if I could move the appointment they didn't have record of it and said that the person who'd scheduled it had abruptly quit and must not have passed on the information. they scheduled my appointment for earlier as I requested, so no big deal. Malakai (Sp) came out on time to do the inspection for the quote. this was a Wednesday. He was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. He told me I'd get the quote the next morning since it was a bit complicated. Thursday came and went with no quote. On Friday I called and left a message with the office staff that I hadn't received the quote. 6 days have gone by with no call and no quote. I'm very disappointed that they never called or quoted. This is a highly rated company and I expected much better. If a contractor isn't interested in a job for any reason, they should just let the customer know immediately instead of ignoring the request. I've lost a lot of time on this and will now have to move into my new home prior to the remodeling being done. Had they told me immediately they wouldn't be interested, I might have been able to get the work lined up with someone else in time to finish before my official move in.

I called this company on a Saturday afternoon because my toilets were backing up. The technician called back right away, gave me his best guesses on what the problem might be and quoted me all the different prices of what he might have to do. He came in 1/2 hour, tried to clear the lines but determined that it was a septic tank problem. He gave me advice on how to work with it until I can have my septic tank drained.

Plumber arrived Jan 7th to replace the anti-scald valve in the shower.He said that another part had to be replaced, and he came back the next day to replace that part. At that point he said that the shower handle was broken and would need to be replaced. He would order it and let me know when it came in For two weeks I heard nothing. I called and left messages without a response on 1/21, 1/22, 1/23. On 1/25 the plumber called to say that they had finally been able to order the handle and it would be in by the end of the week. The next Monday I called, finding out that the manufacturer had sent the wrong handle. The right one would be overnighted and arrive by Thursday. It came in, but it was still the wrong one. The next day (Friday 2/5), a plumber came and installed a substitute handle - finally, a working guest shower! On 2/16, the plumber called to say that the ordered handle was in and ready to be installed. It was installed on 2/17. A minor replacement turned into a six week ordeal!

Arrived on time. Re-routed the external faucets and turned the water supply back on. Noticed that water was coming through the meter when there shouldn't have been any water flow. Tracked the water loss to a leaking fill valve in the toilet tank in the master bath. Replaced the faulty fill valve. Checked the laundry room drain pipe and found it was not partially clogged but that the pipe was too small and not able to handle the amount of water coming out of the new washing machine.

Malachai came in turned off the leaky valve. Came back on the day we had scheduled to finish the job and did the job, no messing around, cleaned up after himself. He was so professional for such a young man. He cut out the shower tile, cut out the bad pipping, torched out the broken part and replaced it all. .He gave me all the prices up front so no surprises!!!!!! For such a young man his customer service skills are awesome. IF I call them again I certainly would want them to send him. He is definitely a gem for the company
