They are the one who got us on Angie's List; they are the ones who recommended Angie's List and said they would give us 10% discount if we joined Angie's List. They were excellent. We had five different estimators come out, Schleman Plumbing was not the cheapest but they were not the most expensive also. They sent the actual person who is going to do it like the tip of the spear instead of an estimator. They told me how much time it is going to take, what time frame is it going to be and they stuck to it. I work from home; I am an analyst so these two boys were here on & off all day while I was working. They were professional, I never heard them cursing like I would have been considering the kind of work they were doing. They cleaned up behind themselves and what they have done has been exceptional. We?ve had no complaints, no problems and the whole experience for being a nightmare was very well handled by them. I would use them again.

They came the day I called to give me an estimate for the job. At the time I didn't know if our well was going to have to be moved so I couldn't give them the go ahead. But the next day when our well began working again I called them and they came out to do the job. The job was neat and they cleaned up afterwards.

When I call them they come that day. I called another plumbing company but they didn't have the special kind of tool that was needed so I ended up calling Schleman for that work. I will give them an A on everything.

Was very pleased with the job Austin did and the company provided same day service within an hour of my call. It was very professional and clean service and they honored the Angie's List 10% coupon. Would call them again anytime I needed a plumber.

The job turned out very well. Two men came out. They were Austin and Ronnie. They were both very personable. They were very conscious of wanting to do the job we wanted. The workmanship was good. Sometimes, in Florida, it is very hard to get people who will show up when they say they will show up. They certainly showed up when they said they would. The price was exactly what they said it was going to be. They were not the cheaper ones but we were going for quality not price. I would recommend them and use them again.

Austin & Ronnie were awesome. They were here until 7 at night to get this daunting job done. They always clean up after themselves and very professional.

The representative was very professional. He did a very good job. When I had the problem with the leaky dishwasher I called him. He came back out right away and fixed it. The problem wasn?t because of his work but because of the store we bought it from. I will use him again. My overall experience with him has been very good.

Arrived at 8:30 AM, Dennis determined that the valve stem was set too far in the wall that did not allow the cold water handle to seat properly. I had an access door through the bedroom closet to the back of the shower. The pipe was restricted by a wall stud that needed to be knotched more to allow the valve to move. There was not a lot of room to work between the piping and stud. More of the drywall was cut to access the riser pipe to the coupling. The section of galvanized pipe was removed and replaced with 1/2 inch CPVC pipe to have greater flexibility allowing the pipe to move with the valve stem. Now the shower handle is securely attached. Dennis cleaned up well and left at 10:30 AM. I later constructed a larger access door in the closet.

I changed the filter in my water filter system and when I tried to tighten it, it got cross threaded. I couldn't get it off and broke two of the plastic wrenches trying. The water was leaking when I turned it on so I had to shut off the water to the filtering system. I purchased a new one, thinking that I could replace it myself. I couldn't. I had used Arthur A Schleman Plumbing before and knew they were a great company. They came and the problem was fixed within 30 minutes.

The workers at Arthur's are very prompt and professional. They communicate well and are very informative. They are honest and I am very happy with their service. I will definitely use them again.

Excellent. My husband told me before he went to work that morning I couldn't take a shower unless I wanted a cold one. He had apparently already checked the breakers, power, etc. to be sure the problem was the water heater. I checked the list(although I had used the company previously, things can change). Found they were still on the list in good standing. Just to be on the safe side, called 2 other companies to compare price, installation time. Even without the Angie's list discount, this company was the lowest and could come the same day to check it out and if indeed it was the water heater change it out. They told me someone would be there around 12:30-1:00. I got a call in approximately 1 hour asking me if it was convenient for someone to come earlier, which was agreeable. The technician came, checked out the heater to be sure that was the problem, and couldn't be fixed without installing a new unit, took the old one out and installed the new one. The water heater is located in a utility room corner with the dryer on one side and the washer on the other. There is an extra refrigerator next to the washer. In order to get to the heater, the washing machine and the refrigerator had to be moved. Since neither appliance had been moved in several years, accumulation of dust and "missing socks, change," etc. were under the appliances. He swept the area, asked for a garbage bag to put trash found in, gave me those items that I could do something with, moved the appliances back and completed the job. He never said, "If you want, you can clean this while I have them moved." Instead, he just did it. He did need to call someone to come and help him lift the old heater out and put the new one in to be sure he wouldn't them drop it due to the small space. His helper arrived in a timely manner, therefore, there was not a lot of lag time. Within a few minutes after he arrived, they had the old unit out and the new one installed. He immediately hooked up the wiring, tested everything and was on his way.

Repiping water lines. They were great. Very easy to work with; wanted to do a good job. Always on time. Wanted to make sure they did as little damage as possible (since LOTS of drywall has to be removed to hook piping to appliances & waterlines). I will DEFINATELY use them again. It was a 3 day job. A lot of work, and they (again) were awesome. Showed up on time, very accomadating. I highly recommend them. You will NOT BE disappointed in their work and/or customer service. This is one company that definately understands customer service, and you never worry about a return call, or a NO SHOW.

He did a great job. He came out, gave me an estimate and did the work at the same time. He was professional and cleaned up his mess. I would recommend this company.

The experience was as outstanding as spending money on a water heater can be. We were not in an emergency situation and so we had the ability to shop around for warranty, price etc. We had three quotes from Angie's list companies, one of whom we have used repeatedly in the past. The closest estimate was $250 more for a hot water heater that was not as energy efficient. We called on Monday afternoon to tell them we had decided to go with their company and they were at our house to install it on Tuesday 8 AM as promised. The representative was neat and courteous and explained everything. It took less than two hours.

We called Arthur Schleman plumbing after we got a high quote from another Angie's List plumber. Schelman Plumbing's quote was much less expensive. We decided to have them do the work since they got good rating from other Angie's List customer. Steve (the guy that did the work) was very professional and courteous. He was very clean (even putting those little blue booties over his shoes). They did the work in the time frame and exact cost that they estimated. Steve even provided us with some additional plumbing fittings that we were going to need to hook our sink back up once we got the drywall repaired and cabinets put back in place. We will definitely use them again.

He was fantastic and we were more than happy with him. He was on time but called before he came. He was professional and friendly. He gave us options on the repairs which we liked. I have recommend him to others.

Very responsive on phone, polite on site. The water heater was a nightmare and for some reason previous plumbers didn't want to bother replacing it, so I've wasted money and time repairing the darn thing before. They were up front on the phone about the age of it and we decided to go ahead and replace it instead of racking up service costs and still having to pay for the replacement. The sink is the bigger issue. I have had TWO plumbing companies tell me that the sink piece couldn't be replaced and that I'd have to replace the entire faucet system (which matched another sink AND tub, which I'm not quite ready to make renovation decisions on). They were able to order the piece. While it was a $230 sink repair (ugh), it was worth not having to change out all that hardware in the entire room.

Mike was very polite and got right to work assessing what needed to be done, starting at 8:30 AM. I had purchased shower fixtures at the home center but when Mike discovered that the existing valve stems were brass, he did not recommend changing them out for the new plastic valves because brass lasts years longer. And the new fixtures would have required more work busting out tiles (that are no longer made, the house is 49 years old) and cutting out plaster to get access to the pipes - a lot more time and effort. So we kept with the brass and Mike went to the plumbers supply store for replacement parts, matching the original fixtures. He replaced the toilet in 10 minutes then disconnected and removed a very old toilet from out in the garage, plugging the drain hole (will be replaced with future remodeling). He finished at 12:30 PM. Later the tub spout developed a constant drip, which was fixed promptly the next morning at 8:30 AM - I had to be at work so he did not have an opportunity to come back that day. Only the handle threads needed shortening so the valve stem could close properly. All is nice and tight. I subsequently returned the shower kit to the home center.

Very satisfied. Was very diligent in getting line cleared. Found ficus roots which are very invasive.

We turned off the well pump to our house when we went on vacation. When we came back and turned it back on, the pressure caused a small stream of water to start leaking from the old galvanized pipes in the garage. We called Schleman Plumbing and scheduled an appt for early the next day. Their plumber showed up on time and got straight to work determining the problem. The leak was determined to be prior to the water flow through the water conditioner. The plumber had to move some of the water conditioner tanks to be able to get to the leaky pipe and he informed me that they do not do work on water conditioners. I agreed to let him move the tanks to fix the leak. He gave me an exact estimate up front and got to work. The job was completed quickly (within an hour) and the water softener parts were returned to their original position. Within 3 days, we noticed another section of the old galvanized pipes was also leaking (we probably didn't notice it the first time due to the larger leak that was fixed first). We called Schleman out again. They came out and replaced that section satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Their plumber was very professional and courteous. However, he wasn't kidding when he said he didn't work on or know about water conditioners. When he moved the tanks, he unwittingly cracked a part on them and we had to pay the water softener company to repair that. I assumed this cost since the plumber told me he didn't know about them and I agreed to let him move them anyway. I definitely learned my lesson to NEVER turn off the well pump to the house again - just the water flow valve!

Overall I picked him for name recognition. He was very nice to me and even though it everything was old he still wanted to fix it instead telling me to buy new stuff; I thought that he was very polite (45 year old house). He gave me the 5% senior citizen discount.

The afternoon before 3 people were flying in for a week. The toilet wouldn't stop running. They weren't sure they could make it that day, but when they found out I wouldn't shut off the intake valve, they said they would make every effort to get here, a short time later, Michael called to say he was on the way. He very quickly and efficiently resolved the problem. A top notch plumbing company in my opinion.

The service man called that morning to confirm and get directions. He arrived on time and worked independently. The faucets are installed well - on center - proper water flow, etc. The drains in the sinks seem a little bit off center - although they work properly, the aesthetics could be slightly better.

The plumber arrived the same day; within the window that I said was convenient for my schedule. He defined the job based upon the observation I gave to him and completed the work promptly. He chose to turn off the water in the manner that was least disruptive in the home. He was very personable, confident and pleasant to have working at my home. And the job and clean up were neatly done. Schleman Plumbing is a fine choice! The price was lower than I had expected for the work and travel time involved.
