There was a little bit of a problem, but the owner got involved right away and made everything all better. Whatever problems I had the owner rectified fully. The owner was so helpful to recognize I had a problem.

The next day Austin called and arrived as stated. He did the repair plus he replaced the pipe up to the shower head due to corrosion he had found. This was at no additional charge. However, he did need to cut a hole in the plaster. I had to repair the hole myself, but he cut the hole very neatly and it was easy for me to repair. He also had to cut a hole under the vanity in the bathroom opposite the shower wall. This was also neatly done and he screwed that piece back on to the wall. The total job took approximately 3 hours. They do advertise on Angie's List that they charge an hourly rate, but I was told this job was a set price. The $549 I paid was after my 10% coupon discount. Overall, I am happy with the work performed and would use them again.

a mature oak grows right where the line passes, so he put a camera through the line. It showed a number of crushed areas where the 4" line was 2" or less. He gave me an estimate of $45 a foot. (office told me $30) he corrected it. office said $250 cam view of pipe waived if they do the replacement. est of job $1560 using schedule 20 pipe. I thought I signed estimate. I got 2nd estimate from Red Cap. No charge for camera view and better price for job using sched. 40 pipe. NO CHARGE. When I called Schleman, I was told , we will charge your credit card for the add'l 250. very irate person. "you signed CONTRACT" we have the number and will charge you. I got screwed for $250.

Jim removed the toilet lid to see hose clip missing and water possibly coming from tank. I believed I would have seen water on the wall/tank but several flushing revealed no further problem. Service charge was $75. Problem occurred again 2 weeks later. Jim came, removed toilet, replaced seal then replaced toilet. Leak occurred again. He removed/inspected toilet then snaked the drain. He then checked the outside drain pipe and saw it was holding water. With considerable effort he located the septic tank in an effort to determine if it was full. He couldn't access the lid (it's a very old style without a handle) and said I needed to obtain septic service. Jim spent 2 hours doing everything he could to remedy the problem. There was no charge as he said he should have found upon his initial visit.

They did a less than stellar job. The first fellow realized that he didn?t have the proper tool to accomplish the task and the second fellow had no interest in following up on what the first fellow did. I think they came when they said they would be here but I don't recall what I paid for them. I probably won't use them again.

They were excellent Jerry was Great. I called them about the leak at approx 2:15pm and a very nice lady answered the phone, I explained the problem, she stated that someone would call me in approx 15 minutes. The plumber (Jerry) called me in approx 15 minutes. I explained the problem, he stated that he was finishing a job up and would be there in approx 1 1/2 hours. Told me about shuting off water etc. In approx 1 1/2 ours Jerry arrived, saw the problem and said he would have me back in business right away. Which he did, he was very nice, and very professional. Explained everything in detail. Was done in just about one hour. I will use these folks for any further plumbing needs and recommend them highly. I will make sure folks no about them. Jerry is a good worker and in an assest to the company.

Overall, good. What started out to be simple jobs mushroomed thru no fault of the plumber. 1) Clogged drain could not be snaked out. Had to replace trap in shower by breaking up the floor to get to it. 3) Connect washer drain to city system started out as a small project, but due to unexpected location of city connection, turned into a major dig-up. Austen was very good. His assistants were not as conscientious about cleaning up the work environment, but overall did good work.

Showed up with in 30 min, Trimmed Wall out, Cut old piping, Replaced Valve, was done with in 1 hr...A+ Service and was top notch worker!!!

I went into the garage and found that my 8 year old water heater was leaking. I tried my regular plumber and he didn't answer. I got the phone book and opened to the s's and found Schleman Plumbing. I called them and explained my problem. The lady said they could do it that afternoon. They called me back within 15 minutes to say they were on their way. I knew the price ahead of time, but didn't ask the brand or any other info....I was desperate. They came out with a 50 gal. Rheem and installed it....took away the old. Very fast service. The only disappointment was that the esitmated cost of running this water heater was more than my old one. That's pretty hard to understand with the government doing the big push for energy efficiency. Otherwise, everything was really good and would use them again. Didn't know when I called them that they were on Angie's List.....there was actually a coupon in the Angie's book that would have qualified so I blew it. Was in a hurry and didn't use all my resources.

Emergency call, came home from a movie to find a toilet acting backed up. Water flooded the room. Went into other bathroom, .. er.. "@#$%" was coming up in the shower and the other toilet was backing up. Snaked it several times, confirmed cleaning it out, had him check the toilet that leaked and he replaced the seals and re-caulked it for good measure. In and out in about an hour. Accepted my 10% off coupon from Angies list w/o issue, kept it to about 150... and now my Sunday night can go back to being good!! (BTW - this is the second time I've used them, Austin came out both times, he was great both times.. I'm writing a report for the first time in a second (which I neglected to do yet!), but just wanted to point this out if anyone notices both reports on the same day!)

Excellent. Had leaking faucets that I'd (cough) been kinda ignoring for a while, and a toilet that I knew at minimum needed the flapper replaced. Quick background - I bought an older house that the previous owner had the next door neighbor "contractor" do alot of work.. and it was pretty.. crappy. So I figured get everything fixed and get someone who seemed to know what they were talking about to give me their opinion. Picked these guys due to Angie's list. They came out and fixed the leaks, etc. I asked Austin (the Schleman guy who came out) what he'd recommend about the outside lines for the faucets - the idiot contractor the previous owner used just ran plastic PVC above ground, no braces, nothing. He recommended redoing them and burying them, but it wasn't technically required/necessary. He quoted a price on that work specifically that I thought was reasonable and said go for it. After the 10% off coupon from Angie's list (which they were more than happy to accept), I had it all done for 375... and I'll swallow my pride enough to admit that with how things were leaking, this'll pay itself off in a year on my water bill. I was remote while the work was done, and a female friend that is staying with me worked w/ Austin. He was polite, explained everything to her (and to me some via phone) and the whole process was awesome. You'll see that I have another report for them (they literally just left my house -- I forgot to write this one!), and that shows that this time resulted in return business from me.

They were very good. I can't say a bad thing about them.

The experience was excellent. They arrived on time, identified himself, did the work efficiently, and then left.

During the beginning of the holidays, at 1-3am, we needed help big time. We live in a 1 bathroom home and the toilet was clogged and we couldn't clear it. To help you understand a little better, if you know what it is, I suffer from IBS . A functional toilet in a 1 bathroom home is already very important but IBS makes it critical!!. We used Angies List and rhe yellow pages to call the plumbers that advertised 24/7 service. Their ad said we could count on them for "honest and direct dealings with old fashioned integrity". Well, we were flat out desperate, willing to pay whatever it took (with Visa, cash, whatever they wanted!). Well, whoever was "on call" that night WOULD NOT help us. To be fair, NONE of the companies would come help until 8am. Again, 1 toilet! It wasn't a pleasant night. Whoever they had on call was not going to get out of bed to come help us. Perhaps they're great during normal business hours, Keep in mind that I didn't file a negative report within the time frame that it happened. Like I said, no one came to help. I'm sending this report because someone's asking for information on them.

They sent someone the same day that I called. He came on time & quickly diagnosed the cause of my problems. Most required only a simple fix which he performed quickly. The man they sent was very polite & explained everything clearly to me. This is the second time that I have used this company. The first time was for a whole house repipe on which they did a terrific job also. Friends who have used them report the same satisfaction.

Service tech gave assesment, confirmed pricing that was quoted on the phone, performed work, gave additional recommendations. Very good experience. I will definitely use Schleman again!

The price was a little but the service was good. They did not have to coem back out it was done right the first time.

Excellent - he even saved money for us on the installation by shortening the route of the overflow valve for the softener and he left our outside water shutoff as is and just added one inside the garage - less labor costs!

While putting in a new irrigation system, it was determined my house I needed a new main line. I called Schelman's and they were able to come out in a couple hours. The job was completed that day, which was crucial to get the irrigation completed followed by the new sod that was coming the next day. The irrigation system had been installed except for taping into the the main line, which the plumber did while he was there.

Rep arrived and foun leak was coming from a spot hot water heater. He cut off the heater and then called me back with an estimate to replace the under counter heater.

Went very well- found no obstruction but saw where the sewer line was rough and getting old.

The completed work was done exactly as per the estimate.

They put a camera down into the plumbing to see why we kept having trouble with the plumbing. They did not fix it but they gave us a proposal for taking care of the problem; it is a little more complicated than just unplugging it. They came right away and the young man was professional and pleasant. We will probably have them do the job they proposed.

There was a mix up in communication. The women who I spoke to about the toilet did not tell the installer what brand of toilet I had requested. He had already removed my toilet and begun installing the Briggs toilet when I noticed. He was actually a manager so he made a special disclaimer on the receipt that he will exchange it and install an American Standard toilet at my request if there is ever a problem. I have not had any problems with the toilet. He did not clean up very well after the installation. He did caulk around the toilet and he did shim it. He told me that this was not his regular job with the company and he was not as customer friendly as I would have hoped.
