They are very professional, do good work, give you good price, tell you what is going to cost, on time and I have worked with them for years. I worked with for a business job one time and that is when I came to know about them and from that point on I used them for my personal things in my house.

We were very happy with the plumbers, Joe and Jim who did the job. They have positive personalities and did a top notch job. However, we were not quite as pleased with the office. The day the plumbers arrived with supplies we learned that the ten percent Angie's list discount would not apply to the repiping, despite the fact the coupon said ten percent off all services. I spoke to Nicole in the office and she said the ten percent was only for service calls. I suggested she change the wording on the ad to reflect this. She was not willing to apply the discount, so I asked if the plumbers would drain our water heater to make up for loss of the discount. She agreed to this and we went ahead with the job. The plumbing was done with no unnecessary cutting of drywall. Most of the piping is inside cabinets and not visible. The inspector said there was a new minor regulation that would require a return of the plumber to install a part, which was done the following Monday. We would be happy to have these plumbers do any work for us. The inspector also said the company has a reputation for doing good work.

Esther who apparently schedules all appointments was responsive and did not want us to wait days for a water heater and would get someone out that day, which she did. She had asked me if it was a tall or short one. Since the heater stands about 4 foot, I assumed it was tall. However the tall one did not fit, the plumber said it was "medium" and had to go back to the office to get another one. It was in place that day and ready for use. However, it did not pass inspection the first time and so they sent the plumber back after they had him talk to the inspector to make sure he got it right. The second trip he spent a long time drilling into the base of a concrete wall so that if there was any overflow it would hopefully drain outside instead of into the house. Looking at it later, he could have made a hole in the wall behind the water heater and attach it to the old drain pipe from the previous water heater spending a lot less time on the job, which he did the first time, only he put 4 bends in his pipe to reach the old drain. In the end it did pass inspection. I asked the inspector about using the old pipe, the inspector did agree with me, the old pipe could have been used if he had not put all the bends into the attachment.

One of our toilets was leaking from the base as a result of a leaking wax seal. I called a little after 8 a.m. Jim was at our house by 12:30 p.m. and the job was finished by 1 p.m. He had cleaned up any mess he created in fixing the toilet, even leaving wet towels in the bathtub so I could easily find and wash them. He did a great job.

We had a spigot leaking on the outside of our house. We tried to repair it ourselves but the pipe inside the wall was too corroded. We called Schleman Plumbing at about 3:45pm on a Saturday afternoon and we were told the plumber had another job to do before ours and that it would be about 2 hours. By 6:00pm Joe arrived and was able to replace the pipe for us and ultimately stop the leak. We were pleased with the level of knowledge Joe had and his professionalism. We were also pleased that there was no additional charge for the service being performed on a Saturday!

It was a Sunday afternoon. I was getting ready for work and when I drained the bathtub, I had air bubbles coming up in my toilet. Then when I went to flush my toilet, it was not flushing very well and almost overflowed. I thought the air vent pipe had debris in it. When I went on the roof to clean it, it was full of water. This puzzled me. I called three plumbers from your Angie's list book I borrowed from a friend. They all said it was a clogged main line and gave me prices to come out. Schleman's price was the best, they did not charge extra for the weekend service, and had a 10% discount coupon in their ad. In addition, when I called them, their service man said it would be about two hours before he could be here. When I explained I was already late for work due to this situation, he managed to squeeze me in before his next appointment and was here within 30 minutes. I was so thankful! He worked fast and had the problem fixed within another 30 minutes. He did an excellent job. Also, he told me he found tree roots when he cleaned out the drain and told me how to prevent it in the future. This I thought was over and above the call of duty and I really appreciated the information. I have been following his advice ever since. Schleman Plumbing will be the plumbers I call first in the future and hopefully will be my plumbing company as long as I own my house.

I brought the plumbing plans to Schleman Plumbing's office. Met with Casey and he gave me a quote. I signed the contract. I called when the pre-slab work was ready for the plumbing installation. The crew arrived a early and finished sooner then I expected (exceeded my expectations) so I was able to call for the County inspection a day ahead of schedule. The work was quickly approved by the inspector as all the work was perfect. I still have 2 more phases to complete as I am building a house from the ground up but my experience so far leads me think Schleman Plumbing will be a great help whenever I need them. The foreman of the Schleman Plumbing crew was once a County plumbing inspector so you can bet the work was perfect.

Joe from Schleman Plumbing came out and quickly repaired the broken pipe useing a connector with brass fittings. Joe was knowledegable, personable, quick and more than fair with pricing. I'm happy with their work and will definitely use Schleman again for plumbing problems.

I called the office in the morning and was told that a plumber would be available to me the same day between noon and 3 p.m. About 1:30 the plumber called and told me he would be there within 20 minutes. That gave me time to clean out the cupboard below the kitchen sink. He arrived and installed the kitchen facet within the hour. He was neat, clean and well spoken and I felt did his job in a professional manner. When he finished we told him of other work that needed to be performed at a later date and he offered to give us a 30 day quote. He did so after we showed him what needed to be done. After he made out the bill, I gave him the 10% coupon from Angie's List and he adjusted the bill and said he would also apply it to the quote for next time. We were pleased and would like to have him back again. As above we had them back on 02/10/12. The "other" plumber was neat and courteous also. We will have them again if needed. While there may have been some problems, the company was immediately response to our request.

He came to our home on time and I explained that there was a leak between the tank and seat on the toilet. I informed him that it was probably the seal that needed replacing. We were correct and he took care of the seal as well as the 3 bolts that held the 2 units in place. He was concerned that there might be a crack in the toilet and informed us that we should monitor the area for any moisture.

My wife and I purchased our new house 12 years ago and since then we had one flush problem which was about four years ago. At that time I hired a different plumber. That plumber only used a snake at the toilet. He had a hard time but eventually cleared the debris enough for it to work again. The Schleman plumber tried that but to no avail. After the plumber removed the tennis ball size of metal he told me that I should not have any more problems with the drainage. Before he used the large snake outside, he told me that the snake could veer towards the back of the house because of the Y pipe connection. He lucked out and the snake stayed at the front part of the house where the guest bathroom is located. Yes, I would definitely recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Thought I had a really big plumbing problem (water coming up through the floor!!) After describing the problem over the phone I got some practical and accurate help. Turned out it was just the wax ring on my guest room toilet that needed to be replaced. Gentleman who came out to do the job was on time, worked quickly and efficiently and noticed that the toilet was also running constantly and replaced the flapper fixing this problem as well. Great service and advice. I will definately be calling Schleman Plumbing Service Inc for any of my plumbing needs in the future. Thank you so much for all your help.

The appointment was made within one business day after I called and the Angie's list discount was graciously given. Jason arrived promptly, was courteous and professional, and he completed the work within three hours. Everything is working well. One of the pipes for the shower head is loose and the pressure seems a little low but still much better than before. Plus I had to leave before the end of the job so I wasn't available to determine if the pressure was OK or not. At some point I'll call back for that but it's fine for now!

Non-responsive to request(s) for quote to install 3 toilets and perform misc. other plumbing work.

We woke up to water seeping out of the tile floor and a soaked carpet. Did not have a regular plumber, but remembered a plumber's ad in our local paper. Checked out Schleman on Angies List then called. At 7:00 AM I left a message with a service. In 10 mins Josh called and said wanted a leak tracker to come first because it sounded like a slab leak and the tracker could find the leak within 12 inches. Josh made the arrangements and the tracker was here within a half hour. The tracker found the leak as Josh showed up. They worked together to solve the problem. It was a major leak and not an easy fix. My husband and I were nervous wrecks thinking they were going to have to jack hammer up a good deal of tile. As it turned out only one floor tile needed to be removed and about 3 feet of dry wall cut out.. Josh knew we were upset and did his best to reassure us things would be OK. He advised us on the next step of getting the wall repaired, tile laid and the carpet removed. This was the first time we used Schleman plumbing. I would definitely have them come back for "routine" plumbing. Oh. Josh also fixed, at no charge, a broken shower faucet.

It went very well. The two who took my initial call were pleasant and patient. I hadn't verified the size I needed and I had to call back with measurements and Esther was very patient as I took additional measurements to verify the size of the equipment. The plumber (Josh) called me twice to tell me he was on his way but I missed his calls through my own errors. When I returned his call about 15 minutes later I discovered he was taking advantage of the time to grab some lunch, and he arrived very quickly. He was pleasant, friendly, polite, and he answered my questions. The following day someone else arrived with the paperwork for the inspector, since water heater replacement now requires a permit. I am glad I called them. I have consistently used another highly-rated plumber but would definitely consider calling Schleman in the future. I saw the reports referring to lower estimates yet very high quality ratings, and since I am currently unemployed I decided to call them to see if I could save some money.

Do call if you need a new garbage disposal installed. They were prompt (came the next morning), professional (called before arriving and completed the job quickly & cleanly) and reasonable. I would highly recommend their services and will use them again when I have another plumbing issue.

In preparation for installing brick pavers at my front entryway and patio, I discovered that an earlier owner of my house had relocated the water line to feed directly into a water softener installed in the garage. Whoever did the job buried that water line only about 4 inches below the surface--not even as deep as my irrigation lines. So Dennis from Schleman Plumbing shut off the water to the house, pulled out the old water line, dug a trench to the proper depth, installed a new line, and covered up the trench. He also relocated the line to the hose bib. The job took about three hours. I was very pleased with his work and would use him again.

Jerry was very professional, gave me some options on replacement parts, he was efficient, polite and courteous. He did arrive a little late, but he gave me a call well before the time he was meant to arrive and let me know. I should mention that I live 30 minutes away from their normal service area. Over all a very good experience. I will use them again, and definitely ask for Jerry to do the work!

Exceeded our expectations in every way!

They had somebody come out to my house the day I called them. They were super responsive. They blew everybody else away with their price. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
