They were terrific! Totally Impressed.

Initial re-sodding work was unsatisfactory with occasional brown patches of sod. However, the day after I brought this to their attention, they had a crew fixing the problem. The result was beautiful, greatly adding to the success of our realtor's Open House two days later. I would highly recommend this company to a friend.

Installers came a day earlier than scheduled which was fine although they had to move some debris out of our yard that we had planned to do later that day. They did that without a hassle or a charge. Several men worked most of the day to install the St. Augustine Classic. Edwin, the project manager, checked in with us that day and came by the next day to provide care instruction. Overall the experience was good. Sod was installed about 2 weeks ago and and is thriving (so far!).

Our call for an estimate was answered right away. After we decided to go with this company, we were given a date for removal and installation. They were so busy that the date we were given was over a month later, but it was worth the wait. The sod was of very high quality. IT WAS GREEN--not like some other jobs we've seen yards where the sod installed was dried out and almost dead looking. The men worked diligently and cleaned up after themselves. The day after the entire job was completed, Mr. Velez came back to give us some tips on caring for our new lawn and to collect payment. A few days later we received a thank you letter with more instructions on lawn care from the company. We live on a corner lot and had a lot of grass to replace. It was expensive, but we received very high quality grass which will be able to grow under our many trees. The company guided our choice of grass with regard to the abundance of shade in our yard. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I dealt with an estimator named Eddie, very courteous and responsive. The crew that actually did the work (in the heat of August) was extremely hard-working and thorough (but spoke little english). They covered every square inch of the area needing sod with little or no gaps (important). The condition of the sod was extremely healthy. Afterwards, I followed their advice and had the sod treated with fungicide. This seemed important b/c my lawn is still great today but a neighbor that had a fly-by-night outfit sod his lawn lost 90% of the grass and 100% of his investment. Homeowner care of fresh sod is critical. Make sure your sprinkler system is in perfect shape and then go with an experienced company like OB Sod.

They were extremely fast in response time to returning my calls and answering my questions. I miscalculated and had to order an additional pallet, but it could not be delivered until the following day. I was a little disappointed that delivery was supposed to be between 8 am & 12 pm, but did not arrive until 1:20 pm. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the company and product. The ladies that handle the calls were very professional and accommodating.
