The company did a great presentation initially. Once we ordered the windows it became difficult to get anyone to call us back. The window production got behind schedule, but nobody would call us back to answer our questions. I eventually talked to the owner and got the answers I needed. The windows were installed on time and professionally. They are beautiful and have already started to lower the heat coming into those rooms. When it was time for the inspection, the inspector found a couple screws missing from the frames and did not approve the job. We contacted the company who said they would send someone out to fix the problem. The worker called to say he was running behind and never showed up. We called the company several more times with no call back. Finally several weeks later the company called and told us they would send out a worker on 8/26/14 to fix the problem. On 8/26/14 the home inspector showed up instead of a worker. We really love our windows, but this company has major issues with communication. Update 9/15/14 - the company finally sent a worker out to add the missing screws on 9/6/14. As of today we have not heard back from the company about this work or when the inspector will be out.

Made a personal visit to office but like I said to the president of the company, I am only one customer and I will be forgotten once I walk out the door. And IT WAS TRUE. No follow up from company or president with apology and or anything else. I've learned, never pay for a job on the day of completion when there are still open issues. New South Windows does not honor their customers with respect, responsibility, dignity or any sense or desire of caring for the people (customer) who makes their budget to operate their company.

Everything was great. Everything they promised was true and so far I was happy. The crew came in one day and cleaned up. Everything went well. We were very pleased with them. Their price is good.

We purchased a home that requires roughly 10 windows and 7 sliding doors be replaced. Their quote was originally over $54,000, but "specials" reduced it to $36,000, but.... If we BUY NOW our order can get placed with another big order which would save us a few thousand more.. They did not itemize their quote even after calling and speaking with their sales manager who promised to have it sent. That was two weeks ago. No information on the energy rating for this price, no install time frame, nothing but big red hand written figures on the measurement sheet. Even with the slimy/gimmicky sales tactics their final price was more than double the quotes we received from two other companies that are dealers for high quality national products, they never followed up with our request to itemize the quote and provide details on what we were actually quoted. I feel their tactics are predatory and fear for the elderly in our community that contact this company.

This was a disaster-no communication was ever initiated by the company, only my prompting. Windows continually promised but never delivered. A 6-12 week project took 8 months. When walking away after the final threat by my lawyer the windows and permit were miraculously ready for installation. The installer Eddie and his crew did a great job-they at least got that right. It did take another 3 weeks to get the damage windows installed.

This was a complete nightmare for us. A big financial mistake too. And our renovation project is still on hold. Don't buy windows from this manufacturer. Don't believe Phil Stone, the sales rep. He is not honest, and he is non-responsive. It's all just a show, no substance. Don't believe them when they tell you that their company is better than the rest. Not true. The installation definitely is not up to the standards that they advertise. You pay more for these windows because the product quality and service are supposed to be superior. Wow, what a rip-off. They give you a life-time guarantee. But that will be meaningless because these guys will not be around very long. I don't believe that you can treat customers the way I've been treated and survive in this business. I had to physically go down to their factory and beg them to deliver my windows; otherwise, I'd still be waiting. I had to give them copies of my order forms (twice) because they could not find them. They don't know who I am and they don't return calls. Even when they called me, the person who called was too busy to speak with me - - and that's me returning their call! And she didn't remember calling me. Their sales order control process must be non-existent because they still don't know how many windows I ordered. Unbelievable. I can only hope that I never hear from them again. Forget the warranty, no matter what happens to these windows in the future I'll go somewhere else.

Did call them for a quote and found them excessively High. We left quite a few phone messages and they were not returned. Not pleased at all! Did not use them nor recommend them! !

Absolute DISASTER!!! When they walked off with my $5K initial deposit I never heard from them again. The install date came and went without a word. I followed up and it took ~8 days and ~10 phone calls to get any answers. I was given many excuses, divergent versions of events (read: somebody lied to me), they apparently have no centralized system for getting order status info and they do not proactively keep customers informed at all. After our original mid-January install date was missed I was told the job would happen mid-February ... that did not happen and AGAIN, they never reached out to us, they couldn't find our order, I was offered no reason for the failure and I was promised that AT THE LATEST we'd be installed the 1st week of March. THAT didn't happen and AGAIN they never reached out to us, they couldn't find our order, I was offered no reason; but I was told I was being put on the schedule for 3/20 and that it would take 1-2 days to do the job. They did not call the day before to confirm - they showed up at noon (rather than 10am which we were told) and the installers quickly assessed that it would be a 4-day job, which meant that they would be tearing out walls and doing heavy construction while we hosted out of town guests, a trip schedule months earlier that could have easily been avoided if NewSouth had delivered on ANY promise over the course of a grueling 5+ month long experience. I emailed Earle - the owner of the company - several times (ie. at each failure) but only got a response twice. I tried to inform TrustDale about them (since he and NewSouth are advertising heavily together around the Tampa area) and Dale said he'd never received a complaint and completely blew me off (I will never TrustDale again). That may well be true but that does not change my experience and the MULTIPLE failures and fumbles. I am a long time homeowner, rental property owner and manager and business owner .... I work with contractors a lot and am here to say, New South is the worst of the worst - horrible at every step!

I talked to NSW at the Orlando Home Show. They told us their average pitch of and quot; our windows are better build than others because they are built for FL weather.and quot; No price per window will be given without a coming to the house (eventhough we had all our measurements). They want it to come for a quote and we did understood why... We decided to give them a try. We scheduled an appointment at the house. Its a Friday, Warren Campbell was the rep that we talked to and the home show and the person that came to quote us. However, because my wife wasn't in the house he wouldn't provide me all the information. We both needed to hear the sale pitch. Ridiculuos....!!! So after arguing he measured the windows and he gave me the same sale pitch as the home show 1)Our windows are better build than others because they are build for FL weather..and quot; 2) Every other window will fail in the first year.. He promised to give me a quote by Monday but I didn't get it. I called a week later and left a voicemail asking for the quote.No response. Again, I called a week later and left a voicemail asking for the quote. Once again No response.... I realized that I can't trust a company to start my project and not to finish it. If they already aren't giving me any responses they won't either If the project goes wrong. I eliminated them from my list. After seen all the other reviews it is pretty much what I was afraid. I won't considered them again. If their windows are so expensive as they said I might as well try Pella which quoted us last year with the same pricing as other stated.

Still waiting for two screens and inspection. This was installed in Sept.

It went very well. Phil was punctual, professional and very knowledgeable.

Still have no windows after 3 months! Paid $3,200 in full as of July 8th, and was told six weeks for installation. My paperwork even stated six weeks. After repeated calls from me, got in touch with the owner, and told him my story. Was told it would take 9 weeks. After NINE weeks, received windows that were not properly sized , so they had to reorder them. Was told they would RUSH the new order and that they would personally bring me a check on 10/1/13 if windows were not delivered. NEVER received a call, or the check. As of 10/5/13, still have not heard from the company, nor do I have my new windows. Filed a dispute with the credit card company to get my money back.

We went into the sales room and also had a salesperson come out to our home for an estimate. We received the same sales pitch and explanation of product on both occasions. We had several quotes from other companies and NewSouth is NOT the cheapest but we decided to go with them because they seemed to offer a quality product and are a local company. It wasn't until my husband signed the paperwork that he realized they were selling us a completely different window product than they had marketed to us. My husband noticed they had checked off an inferior selection on the paperwork and when he called the salesperson over and over, he acted like it was a miscommunication. We didn't even know they offered another product. The president of the company stepped in and made everything right, but it still left a bad taste in our mouth that the salesperson was trying to screw us. We also had issues getting the correct financing because our sales person screwed up, but this was rectified. Anyway, the windows were installed in April and we haven't had any issue with them. They still seem like a quality product. The installers rushed a 3-day job into 2 days and left a mess. My husband helped them clean up inside while they were here and they still managed to leave a mess outside. They also left black marks all over our laminate wood floors which were a major pain to get cleaned up. Also, the company stated they would take care of the permits but I had to contact them because months had gone by with no final inspection. They stated and quot;we usually have our customers call when the install is complete to schedule inspectionand quot;. HUH??? Why do I have to contact you to tell you that you have completed the work that we hired you to do? We pay them for the permits and they promise they will take care of the permits, but they don't. So then the inspector comes out and the windows fail final inspection. I contact NewSouth to let them know the windows failed inspection (which I feel is still not my responsibility. Why aren't they following up with the county and their customers??) and we still have had no response from NewSouth. I have plastic white pieces that are supposed to be installed after the inspection all over my house and black permanent marker on every window. It would be nice after spending so much money to have dealt with a more professional company. I wish we would have hired the other local, family owned company that we considered. Update as of 6/12/14 - We are still dealing with this disaster of a company. They are finally somewhat responsive ONLY because we filed a complaint with the BBB and my husband has called them probably 100 times since last month (left messages, left on hold, transferred to a different person everyday). Our permit expired. They had to pull a new one. A service man had to come out to repair the windows. Now we wait for final inspection, again. They keep lying to BBB that they have resolved the issue. My husband has to keep disputing their claims. The issues will not be resolved until they schedule final inspection with US so we can be home and we pass final inspection, then they need to come back and install all these plastic pieces and remove the permanent marker that they used on the windows upon install. Hopefully we can be rid of this horrible company soon. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. This is BY FAR our worst experience ever with a contractor, or really, any business period.

Peter and his wife installed my windows. What a wonderful team to work with. They were the best installers I've every worked with.

Arrived on time. Had a and quot;cannedand quot; sales spiel that we had to sit through. Tried to tell us their windows were a and quot;GREENand quot; product because they did not use any recycled plastic!?? Sales person measured all the windows, then brought in two big cases with their sample windows. The windows did look very well made. Probably and quot;top of the lineand quot;, but very expensive! We have a small house with only 11 windows and one sliding glass door to the patio. He started the price at $19,000, then after taking several discounts, the price ended up at $15,000. Now, we had already gotten a price last year from a different window company and guess what - the price was $15,000 (without all the so called discounts). How about that! We decided there was no way we were going to pay $15,000 for 11 windows last year, and there was no way we were going to pay $15,000 for 11 windows this year. We are still looking for a company that has a more moderate priced window that will do just fine for the next 20 to 30 years.

Plus he never gave me any references that I could have checked while waiting for his bid... I was really interested in using a local manufactured company.

Very poorly. The installer were excellent and courteous and cleaned up behind their installation. The Field Engineers and their management left a lot to be desired.

We recently had NewSouth windows installed in our house and we couldn't be happier. The windows are of a MUCH higher quality than so many of the windows we were shown when getting quotes from other companies. As soon as they were installed, we noticed a huge difference in the look and feel of our house. Everyone we worked with at NewSouth was knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. I also really liked that they put a priority on energy efficiency! I am looking forward to seeing our air conditioning bills going down during the hot summer. I would say that I would definitely plan to use NewSouth again, but I don't think we'll be needing windows for quite some time!

Company came out for estimate, promised estimate back in 2 days. never heard from them again.

Was quite an experience as this is the first time we had installed windows in our house. Price was a little more than some of the others but we liked their great quality and they have their factory here locally and employ local workers.

My experience with NewSouth Window Solutions has been very good so far.

We really like our new windows and have had many compliments from our neighbors. There is a noticeable reduction in noise from the outside, which is great. It's too soon to tell any savings in our electric bills, but give it about 3 months and we should have good data. The installers were very conscientious and did a great job. One window had a scratch in the glass and another had incorrect grids. They replaced both of them with no questions asked.

Their salesman was friendly and informative, the whole job was done very efficiently and professionally.
