NewSouth Window Solutions manufactures vinyl replacement windows in our own factory in Tampa, Florida. We offer our custom made windows direct from our factory to our customers and install them in the customer's home. We then guarantee the window AND the installation to the customer for as long as they own the home. We encourage our customers to come into our factory, take a tour, and see the windows being made. In the factory showroom, a customer can operate and handle the window, see grid patterns and color samples. There are also doors to open an close and sample. NewSouth also offers a free in-home demonstration. We will come to our customer's home, measure the job exactly and offer a factory-direct price that includes installation. We will come to your home on evenings and Saturday mornings as well. The NewSouth window is manufactured with the best performing components in the industry and is known for energy-efficient windows. Paid over 40K for all my windows and doors. The materials seem to be good. Installation is EXTREMELY subpar (I have pics to prove it). They sent the same person over and over, to solve the issues they themselves created. Failed inspection due to wrong installation procedure, non compliance with county code, doors with handles scratched, installed non-square, not closing properly, parts missing (i.e: plugs to cover screws). Broken seams, stucco used improperly (Came off at first pressure cleaning) Crew showed up at least 4 times, not counting scheduled inspection. Last time I had to threaten with a lawsuit to have them come and fix inspection failing issues. I do not recommend at all

Our factory rep, Tim Townsend, was incredible!!! The windows and screens are top notch from this company! The work is outstanding. From the initial meeting through to post installation was professional, fully explained, with communication, and updates. I’m telling you that this company is amazing. Cant get better than an in state company that local, friendly, professionally priced! They have other products beside the windows we had installed. Check them out…I highly recommend them.

Windows/French Door installed on 11-29-22 and a trail of destruction was left behind. The drywall around every window was excessively damaged. The stucco around the door was excessively damaged and two window sill’s were broken. They did send a contractor to repair the damage however now I have to do extensive painting. Inspection failed due to lack of screws being installed. The caulking around all of the windows look like it was rushed through and a child had done it. Poor shoddy workmanship and lack of pride in their work. Do yourself a favor and find another company that values their customers and their work. For the amount of money that they charge I should be 100% satisfied.

Very disappointed in the 2 picture windows we had installed. There are unsightly tufts of black insulation visible, sticking out all along the window frames. We waited 3 weeks for service person to tell us that’s the way it goes and nothing can be done. Had we known this was an issue with picture windows, we would have made another choice. This company should be embarrassed; it actually looks like ants crawling on the window frames. This is an eyesore and now we have to live with it. Their corporate-speak response was sorry but too bad.

So far I am not thrilled with my experience with New South. I was very reluctant to purchase due to reviews I read on Yelp. I told the salesmen this (Julian), however he promised me we wouldn't have any issues. The installation occurred today. 5 windows. The installers were nice and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The window quality itself seems subpar. One of the locks isn't working at all (broken) and there is a gap between the sashes on one of the windows. One of the locks is also really difficult to latch. The window installation looks poor, some windows not plumb, not inline with an another and at different heights. Not centered on the house etc... There are so many concerns, to many to list. I let the installers know while they were here. Like I said, they were very nice, but they didn't make any changes. They said someone will be in touch. Several of the screens were damaged during installation. Some of them were no cut properly and some of them are not secured properly. I also contacted new South while the installers were still here as well as my salesman, Julian. Will update this review once/if everything is resolved. As of right now, I am wishing I listened to the Yelp reviews. **UPDATE 1**: Just reduced this from a 3 star to a 2 star. Called New South today (07/25, 10 days after install) they said the earliest they can get someone out for a "Job site visit" it on the 9th of August, 3 weeks away. They were not willing to accept the photos. I asked if they could do it sooner, she said she will have a manager reach out to me. **UPDATE 2** Just reduced this from a 2 star to a 1 star. Received call from Cody soon after I spoke to the customer service rep on 07/25. Cody confirmed the soonest they could have someone out to the house was mid-August. I asked why it would be so long, he said he would be the individual coming to the house and that between now and then he had meetings, measurements and warranty work. Cody said he would need to come to the house because the pictures the installers took were not clear. I asked him if I could send him new pictures and video and he said he could not accept that. After confirming the date and time, I heard him say "idiot" while he was hanging up the phone. CURRENT RECOMMENDATION: Definitely use another company. Listen to the reviews... wish I had. **UPDATE 3** Cody was supposed to show up today at 11 AM. I took off work to be home, then I received a text message from him at 11:20 (20 mins after he was supposed to be here) cancelling. From Cody "Hello it's Cody from NewSouth. Unfortunately I will not be able to make it today. Please call back to get rescheduled." Not even an apology. What a joke this company is... Read the reviews before deciding to spend thousands with this terrible and overpriced company.

We entered into a contract with them for new windows and French door on 2/3/2022. We have paid them in full almost $32,000. 13 weeks later they still had not scheduled to even come and measure our openings so they could start making the windows. After repeated attempts to contact them and find out what was going on, when you call the office, they just tell someone will call you in 24-48 hours, which does not happen. We thought hard about our decision to go with New South Windows and if it was this hard to get a hold of them now what would it be like if and when we had an issue with the windows or door. So we decided to cancel our contract, after writing a letter requesting to cancel our contract we can still not get a hold of anyone. We did receive a call the next day from a guy wanting to come measure our windows stating his supervisors asked him to call, told him it was a little to late at that point. Our salesman called once asking us to reconsider and move forward offering a discount and expedited service, when I said no we would just like to cancel the contract he as also gone radio silent. We have sent multiple emails and called their office serval times with them saying someone would call, but still nothing. Just wanted to let everyone know the service we have received and warn them to think twice about this company.

they came out 7 times and they came back 2x to put in but still not finished no one call us back the only person who came us back is the salesperson the ceo never called us back to tell us what's going on they never finished the job and until now I'm waiting for the CEO to call me.

Installation was within one day of the quoted date given at the sales appointment. This is quite impressive due to the COVID pandemic constraints which challenged raw material availability. Additionally, installation was completed even though it was the day before storm Elsa made landfall. I consider myself lucky but I definitely stacked the deck by hiring NewSouth.

We signed a contract with New South Windows October 2020. Seven (7) months later, well after their agreed upon time frame of 14-26 weeks of completion, the windows and the slider doors first day of installation began. The installers were friendly yet did not 100% follow their own installation protocols. There was a thunderstorm the first two days of installation and only one window had a drop cloth. They left dirty shoe prints on new tile, new flooring, dirty walls from handling. Upon completion of the first day of installation, we first and foremost noticed the noise in addition to the mess left in the house. We inquired with the installer and he stated that he did still hear noise as well and was not sure why. We contacted the New South Windows office and spoke with Anthony, a part of the production team, and he said as well that we should not hear noise. We also alerted Julian, the salesperson that we heard noise. Julian also reiterated that we should not hear noise and that he would be upset and would want this corrected to 100% satisfaction. The installers returned the following day and at least mostly wore shoe covers and put down two drop cloths. With the remainder of the windows and the two slider doors installed, there was more damage to the house – new drywall broken, window frames broken, new bathroom tile broken, broken glass on new window, two broken screens, and an inferior slider door with additional drilled holes, as well as additional muddy shoe prints and dirty walls. There was also still noise to be clearly heard from all windows and slider doors. There was also shoddy workmanship of the product itself with multiple excessive caulking and mess with the windows and doors. The installer again stated that he did not understand why he could still hear noise and could not clean all the mess off because it was too much. They used Great Stuff sealant, a cheap product around the windows and slider doors. We alerted New South Windows again that same day we were still not satisfied with their products and materials. The company sent Cody from the production team two weeks after installation to discuss issues and after an inspection, acknowledged all the issues and just asked for payment. He said that the job was finished, and that payment was needed. The job is not finished and there are still all the issues first brought to New South Windows attention at inception. Cody said that he would speak with his boss and get back to us the next day. Cody stated that customers have held $500 and $10k from a job until completed to their satisfaction yet was not willing to take half payment from us until completed to our 100% satisfaction. Under duress, we wrote a check because Cody promised he would be in touch the next day and we would move forward. After a week, we had not heard anything, and we put a stop payment on the forced check due to non-existent communication and shoddy product. Cody only called after the check was stopped and did not relay any information as to what was being done to correct the issues and move the job along. Cody just said that he would put the job on hold because of stop payment instead of even trying to get answers and work on correcting all the issues. That was a month ago as of this review. New South Windows stated that they had a superior product and that is not what was received. They decided to just drop the ball and not handle their responsibility to their customers nor back their own products and complete a job to 100% satisfaction.

NSW installed 11 windows in our house to the tune of $10,000~. They sent 2 very unprofessional looking people. I have tattoos and nothing against body piercings. But don’t show up for a job with your nipple rings showing and the shortest of shorts ever. The 2 guys hastily ripped windows from the house. They didn’t snap any lines for the cuts, which made them all uneven. The stucco on the house cracked really bad as well from lack of care. Old windows were dropped, some shattered on the floor, creating gouges in the floor. No drop cloths were used and drywall dust was everywhere as well as caulking permanently stained into the wood floors. Had to have the house professionally cleaned. They used a torch on one window and burned the stucco. The windows were not installed evenly and foam coming out of the seams. Very ugly looking. Now, about a year after, all the windows need to be replaced because the special film has failed. It’s taken several months for them to get new windows ready. Always the “next truck load” excuse. Now that they are ready, I was put on schedule for replacement, or so I thought. I just called today and asked about scheduling and they can’t find us on their schedule! For $10,000… the first set of windows look like junk, installed all wonky, and failed. Even the county inspector was shocked by the install. White vinyl board had to be installed to cover up the ugliness underneath.

Overall timeline - weeks off schedule. Performs work without required permits. Uses COVID as an excuse for any promise that they cannot deliver on. Windows not ready - COVID. Doors not ready, which they don't even manufacture themselves - COVID. Permit(s) didn't get pulled 5 months ago when the contract was signed - COVID. I can't wait to see what else they blame on COVID. Properly overpriced to boot, but time will tell on the quality front; I will not be surprised when they cannot deliver on all the promises the salesperson made.

Due to COVID-19, took a while to get the doors installed, however, this is where my reviews come in. Installation for new windows and new French door was right before Christmas. Brad, our sales person, did everything to almost guarantee it take one day for installation. Now we are a few days shy of February and still not complete. First day of installation- you can tell that these installers were sub contractors, yet we were told they do not sub contract, so i asked and they confirmed that they were sub contracted. Another way to tell is if a company sends out personnel to your home, their vehicle would be marked with the company name and info, and you would see the personnel wearing gear with the company logo. The truck and huge trailer was not marked, and the two personnel that came out looked like they were in their lounge clothing. They started with installation of windows on the second floor and had to go thru 2 pool screens when we were told it would be one (they also did not clean the pool screen from all the debris because they forgot to and said that the wind will take care of it. From what i can tell, the windows were ok, yet since i know the quality of what happen to the French door installation I would say that they also cut corners. Plus, I also never saw the installers use a leveler (and I was watching them about 75% of the time) and I heard one yell a profanity when he cut a section too short and you can see the gap, yet when confronted he said it was ok. Now the bigger issue- the French Doors. Brad promised and showed us all the beautiful pictures he had as "evidence" of their work to reassure us that everything will be fine and done correctly, that the only item we had to worry about is painting. FAR FROM THE TRUTH. I wish I could show the pictures of how the French Door installation turned out but was not an option in this review. -The doors wouldnt close tight unless you locked the door, and then you could still see light coming thru. -The door was not flush with the inside tiles, this meant that they took the measurements wrong (we brought in other companies to the house to give us estimates to how to fix everything and they were all consistent with all the issues they saw in the installation). This was the main issue since there was now a half inch or more gap that if you did not lift your feet high and were bare footed your feet will be sliced from the tile and grout. Installers said they don't fix that, and that we had to fix ourselves. -One guy went nail gun happy and just started to nail the frame in locations where there was cracks (again, if only I could put pictures). -They got the wrong trim color, and couldn't install a portion, so you see two large vertical gaps to each side of the door. There are more issues with the installation to mention. At the end, the installers said that all issues will be handled thru another person from the company who comes behind them before the county inspects to make sure all done right. The best part, they did not want to leave until we paid the final bill. Yet it states that final payment is when all complete. Clearly we were maybe 80% complete. We agreed to hold back money, but thinking about it now, we should have held back more. Those who want to know how much you can get away with, lets just say a few grand, we found out after we agreed to only 500. Lesson learned. Then I had the lovely pleasure to talking to Randy. This is the start of his beautiful relationship of trying to talk to Randy, and get Randy to listen and not blame stuff on us. Scheduling to get these items repaired or taken care of took over a month. Why does it take that long? Because they already schedule almost 2 weeks in advanced for other projects, so if they dont finish on one day and it was supposed to take one day, expect to wait over a month for them to come back out. So now, we had our reschedule which was on 1/26 and one guy showed up. Hours later, he had to get help since he had to basically take everything apart and start all over and could not do the install correctly. Not on any fault to this new installers (from the company), they were not able to finish and now waiting 3 days to get someone to call me back to reschedule for them to come back and finish. Remember Randy? well, he had the nerve to tell me that whatever Brad (the company salesman) and I spoke about in terms of quality of work and satisfaction that I would need to take it up with him. Yea, Brad got fired a while back ago (no wonder he never answered our calls). Now we are waiting for someone to call us back (not Randy of course) so we can reschedule for another try at finally fixing the French Doors. I'd hate to send this, but I wouldnt want anyone else to go through what we went thru...

There isn’t enough time for me to write my true feelings for New South Window Solutions but here is the short and sweet of it. I will call it the “G” rated version. • November 15, 2019 Order Windows, Sliders and Front door for my entire house. • March 2, 2020 removed all my curtains and blinds as per request. • March 3- 5, 2020 Instillation for 3 days … Broke 1 window while installing. • May 26, 2020… Fixed broken window but can’t fix 5 other windows so they ordered new sashes for the 5 windows. • 2 Sliders out of 4 very hard or couldn’t open because of the warped track • None of the 4 sliders were caulked or finished at the bottom track. • May 26, 2020 to November 30, 2020 waited for 5 window sashes to be made. • November 30 2020 windows arrived but their installer couldn’t install them. • December 2 2020 another installer comes and works all day and finishes the job. • December 8 2020 curtains and blinds were reinstalled. Service and Quality: • Salesman never contacted me to find out how things were going until he called 9 months later to see if he could bring someone by to look at what a great job they did and found out what was going on and never heard back from him. • Service ridiculously inept and incompetent. • Quality so so… not really impressed with the overall product. • Vinyl caps covering adjustment screws top and bottom on sliders fall off constantly… poor design. • Window sashes not square. • No real savings on electric as stated by salesman. Mistakes I made… • Falling for the hype and not looking for reviews. • Allowing this company to use the pandemic excuse to control their ineptness. • Paying the balance of the job upon the instillation (part of the contract) and not holding money back until the job was completed. • I knew better but trusted the company! • I lost my leverage by paying the total amount prior to completion and they knew it. Conclusion: • Never again will I use them. • I will not recommend their products or Company. • I would highly recommend using another company.

While I am satisfied with the quality and installation process for my impact windows and sliders from New South Window Solutions, Tampa, my low review is due to the dishonest unprofessional sales tactic used by Factory Sales Rep, Brian Morton, from the Tampa Office. Brian provided me quotes for two jobs: (1) New South impact windows and sliders and (2) Builders Hardware smooth front door with decorative impact glass. We agreed that, if I was satisfied with the quality of product and installation for the first job, I would sign a second contract for the quoted price of the front door. With this verbal understanding, I signed contract #1 for quoted price of window and sliders. On January 27, 2020 Brian backed-up his verbal quote for Job# 2 door by emailing me the quoted prices for my first door choice (Majestic model) plus prices for two other impact models. Job #1 windows and sliders were installed, and I was satisfied so I contacted Brian by telephone several times requesting he write the sales and installation contract for the front door. Finally, Brian sent me an belated email, in May, with a significantly higher price for the Majestic model impact door and said the manufacturer had increased the price significantly from the original quote of $2,891.00 to $4,572.00. I repeatedly requested, by email and telephone, that he honor the original written quoted price. He refused. He also told me that his Manager, Bob, refused. In sum, it seems that this deceitful "low ball" tactic of door pricing was purposely used to get my signature on a contract for the windows and sliders which cost me over $24,000.00. As of this date, Brian and New South continue their refusal to honor the original quoted Majestic door price or to agree to my offer of a smaller price increase. We see from our records that your appointment was on December 16th and that your installation was completed on February 28th. Since then we've incurred vendor price increases. Unfortunately, these price increases are out of NewSouth's control and we have to make adjustments to our pricing. NewSouth offers a 30-day guaranteed price as a courtesy and certainly never wish to deceive our customers. We do hope you can understand this. New South Windows replaced 9 windows and an entry door in the house. The arrived promptly at 8 AM with a crew of about 6-7 people and were done by 1:30 PM. The workers were all nice. Joe, the person who sold me the windows, showed up that afternoon to make sure everything was going OK. The installment was on time and they kept me updated on when they were making the windows and going through the inspection process. I did not give a rating for price because I did not receive an estimate from any other company. My thinking was with the Miami-Dade window requirements, all windows would be high quality. But, what I really like is how much more quiet the house is with good windows.
