Description of Work: They removed 10 windows and replaced with 7 windows. I still have another 6 windows and once I can afford will have them do it. Very professional from the call to windows being installed. The installers were great. Very friendly and answered all questions I had. Could not have asked for a better company just wish you had offered a discount on Angie's list. |

Description of Work: They gave me a bid on replacement windows that was very high. Then they want to try to do better after I told them their bid was very high. I ask what they could do over the phone they only want to come to the house so I told them not to waste theirs or my time.

Description of Work: Went to the showroom, in early October 2014, salesman very knowledgeable. We did only 3 windows just to see how everything went. Someone came to the house within a week then another appointment was required for measurements. They originally said installation would be before Thanksgiving but it was about 10 days after and it was worth the wait. Installer was so awesome, cleaned up after himself like no other worker ever has. Our windows look beyond great, made such a difference in our curb appeal. We will do the rest of them sometime this year and will definitely use them. Thanks, NewSouth!! |

Description of Work: Purchased a sliding patio door on 7/15/2014 with an expected date to be completed and installed 8-1/2 weeks later. To date, still no door has been received. Called and left messages on 9/8, 9/10 and 9/12 for status. Heard back from Sean on 9/13 telling me the door had been started but it wasn't possible to provide an ETA. Called about two weeks ago and left message for status. There has been no response. Better Business Bureau now has a rating of D+ for this business.

Description of Work: They did excellent work of presenting, manufacture and installation of my home replacement windows in Clermont, Fl. We worked with the Orlando Fl. Office of New South Windows. We are very please with our beautiful and energy efficient windows. I recommend to all who are considering window replacement or new construction.

Description of Work: We are happy with the quality and performance of the slider doors and windows they NewSouth installed. Their TV advertisement states - windows and doors made in Florida in their Tampa plant. What they didn't state is that they only make non-hurricane products at their plant. They purchased our windows from Schwinco and the doors from CWS. No problem with the products it's just that NewSouth was just being a contractor not a manufacturer. Felt a bit deceived. |The installation was scheduled to take 2-3 days. From start to finish was 3 months. The last 2 weeks were replacing a scratched window, so that doesn't count. |We do have a 1961 house which isn't very level so installing the 9" and 2 - 6' slider doors was a bit challenging. |Once the crew installed the doors, the trim was another issue. The new doors have a much wider threshold so they protrude outside a 2-3". Their metal banding trim wasn't as good as we had hoped but there weren't many options. The installation crews were good and cleaned up after every visit. |We never heard from the sales guy or any managers to follow-up or express any concerns or sympathy about the extended duration of the installation. You would think that if you spend >$17K you'd get some sort of "are you satisfied" call from the managers. | |We'll see how it goes if warranty service in needed in the future.

Description of Work: Windows were installed in May and we are still waiting for final inspection. They failed the inspection and we were promised that they would be out last week to do some work that needed to be done to make the inspection pass. No one called or showed to perform the work they promised. I am very unhappy with the way they are treating me and would not recommend New South to anyone because of this. I have repeatedly called and got false promises. I really don't care anymore because they will be paying the fines, not me.
