Outstanding. Nothing went awry. My daughter is very happy - and that makes me very happy!
Description of Work: I contacted MaidPro about 2 months ago. I purchased a gift certificate for my daughter who lives in Tampa. She was having trouble keeping up with the housekeeping with a new baby! Everything was handled professionally via email. They gave me pricing and sent the gift certificate to my daughter. She was so happy with the cleaning! So I decided to keep the service for her on an every other week schedule. My daughter says her house has never been so clean and she feels so much better that she has one less thing to worry about. It's been a great experience and service has been excellent every time.

I used them since Christmas and while the initial cleaning seemed OK they had to come back 3x to get the dull haze off my wood floors. Last visit I gave up after trying to give them another chance - I should have gone elsewhere months ago! ALL of our doors were left UNLOCKED and our alarm was not armed for the 4th time in a row, no garbage taken out, back bedrooms not touched either for dusting or vacuuming, half the lights in the house were on to include the lights on our lanai! ABSOLUTE WASTE of money! FEEL horrible that I gave my sister a gift certificate for her birthday to use them, another complete waste of money I am sure - 185.00 will be for nothing if their consistent poor service is ANY indication and her house is HALF the size of mine but they charged me MORE for her one-time cleaning!!!???
Description of Work: They have a check list and honestly only about 1/2 of the things are done - if that.

I filled their questionnaire form out online. When I received a call the next day, I didn't feel as though the representative took the time to read or listen to any information I provided. I was a former customer for another location, and their pricing was much more than the former location I associated with.

I was thoroughly unimpressed with the quality of cleaning. In fact, I ended up cleaning the house again after they left because it was so dirty. The cabinents and drawers weren't touched at all, there was dust and dirt on counters. They may serve as a good surface clean for a home that is already maintained, but even when I clean on the weekends I would anticipate I do a deeper clean than I experienced. I will plan on cleaning myself in the future.
Description of Work: We bought a new house and used MaidPro to do a full housecleaning before we moved furniture in.

The first time they came they were good. When they came the second time they called on Saturday to make sure I would be there on Tuesday. I informed them that I was not able to do a window. They were late to the appointment. They threatened to take money out of my account because they were locked out. The agreement I made with the supervisor was that they would be at my home by 9:00AM. I agreed to a one hour window but not a two hour window. They were not here until 10:15. They were not able to start until 10:30 because I was not there. They rushed here because they had to leave and I had to leave as well and I was informed that I would still be billed for the appointment. They said that they would "Take it out of my account."

Awful service. Paid $279 and had to clean the house ourselves afterwards. Blinds were left dusty and despite being shown the dust, , the housekeeper still tried to convince us she had cleaned them. Dust was left on the top of the door and picture frames. Cooking grease was left on the kitchen cabinets. Water spots were left on the bathroom fixtures. Carpets were not vacuumed properly. When we complained, we were told we would have to pay more money for more time. Very displeased. Should've checked Angie's List BEFORE we hired them. Lesson learned. Never again. Update 12/14: We received (and mostly ignored) numerous calls from MaidPro soonafter this review was posted. MaidPro later responsed saying, "This is not our client. We have no one in our database named (Member)." and disputed the review. This prompted Angie's List to temporarily remove the review until a contract and bank receipt were fowarded to them as valid proof that MaidPro Tampa indeed performed services at my residence. Angie's List confirmed that the review was not posted fraudulently and the review was reinstated.

Overall I was not pleased with the service. They did not clean the counter tops thoroughly I mean who wipes around a toaster not pick it up and wipe under it? They did not clean all the window seals. They did not clean the baseboards. They did not dust all pictures. They left cleaning residue in my shower. I hired them for the 4 hour cleaning, instead of them taking the entire 4 hours to do a thorough cleaning, they half-done it and left early. In fairness they did offer to come back and re-do what I felt was done inadequately; however sometimes if you don't get it right the first time you don't get a second chance. I know I could have just gotten a bad team (cleaning crew) but I just took the lost and will not be using them again.

We had just purchased our new home and I wanted a thorough cleaning before moving in. When they called me to charge for more time - after two hours, the girls had gotten through cleaning the two bathrooms upstairs. I didn't want to spend any more money so said stop. They did a good job with the refrigerator, but swept crumbs and debris out of the fridge onto the floor for me to clean.

They have a key - which is so convenient because I'm never around for the service. But when I get home on Friday, I can rest assured that my house is clean for the weekend. If I have last minute guest showing up, I just send them an email and they fit me in or work around my schedule. I always leave a list of specifics, and they take care of them. Never a surprise with the fee, and they always call to ensure that I am satisfied. They are extremely easy to work with and fit seamlessly into my schedule. Thanks Maidpro!

As I said I use them for my bi-weekly service and have been doing so for over a year now. You need to tell the crew that turns up what you want done in each room and if there are any special instructions. If you get the same crew (preferred) you only need to tell them once. They insist on the first visit being a very thorough job and may cost a bit more but they clean the baseboards and windows.
Description of Work: I use them for my bi-weekly service. They are very responsive to schedule changes and extra areas of concern within the house. If you want the same crew each time you need to ask specifically for that. That was a problem for me in the beginning. the price is by the hour and I have a 3 hour clean time for a 3 bed/3 bath house.

Maid Pro has been sending in a team of 3 ladies to focus on my home cleaning needs. One of the ladies has been responsible to clean up my in law quarters - floor to ceiling. The other 2 ladies have been working on cleaning the inside of my home 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 car garage and large pool lanai area. I am a neat freak so when I first considered using a service I was a bit concerned. They certainly have done a terrific job over all, my weaknesses with house cleaning would be the mopping of the floors and the wiping the windows and glass surfaces. They have done a fantastic job.
Description of Work: Maid Pro team of 3 ladies have been coming to my house over the past 3 months and have helped me get the house and inlaw quarters in tip top shape. I had been having trouble keeping it all up, simply run out of time...and energy. The Maid Pro team has been coming twice a month for the last 3 months and have been scrubbing from floor to ceiling. Even my garage floor gets mopped and is shining brightly... These ladies have done a fantastic job for me and have taken care of all of my requests for my cleaning needs. I would highly recommend them to you. Thanks to the help of Maid Pro I have been able to focus on other projects in and outside of my home. :) Five star Quality...

The first 2 cleanings went well (be warned they don't do windows), after the third visit, however there was still visible dog fur on most of the area rugs. So rather than make a big stink, we asked that the particular staff not return. When my husband made that call, he also asked that the timing of the visit be changed. Later that afternoon, the same person called him back to confirm the visit time, which was incorrect, and when he mentioned that she sounded like the same person he spoke to earlier in the day, she said that yes it was she that he had the conversation with, and she had forgotten... and then the cleaning staff that we had specifically asked not arrive, showed up at out door the next morning. I do not believe that this is an acceptable manner to run a business, particularly in this economy with what really amounts to a 'luxury' service, not strictly a necessary one. They need to do better.
Description of Work: We used this company 3 times. The initial clean was well done, the follow up 2 weeks later was adequately done, however the 3rd service was unacceptable. My issue with the company is that the individuals who answer the phone and do the scheduling appear to be EXTRAORDINARILY disorganized. It is because of this disorganization that we will not be using the service again. I hope this is helpful.

Although they have elected not to respond as of yet - we are hopeful that they will and we will be given the opportunity to make this issue 'right.' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Members, I understand that the General Manager of my firm, Julie Thomas, has attempted to speak with you regarding the service issue that arose recently. To her dismay, she brought the problem to my attention, in hopes that we could provide some sort of explanation and reparation for the inconvenience and disappointment we have caused you and your family. I would like to start by profusely apologizing for the communication trouble you experienced this week. We fully accept the fact that we 'dropped the ball.' While I do not want to make excuses for our behavior, I would like to explain the circumstances that occured - in hopes that your opinion with MaidPro may soften... This week, we lost two long-term employees who worked in our office - unexpectedly. One was involved in a very bad car accident, injuring her back to the degree that she was no longer able to work. The second - her 3 year old son was diagnosed with cancer which required her to quit immediately because of the medical needs that were required. As a result of this - we were in a pinch and did not have staff trained and ready to work adequately in the office. Again, this is not an excuse - we do fully recognize that we did not do our job for you. To try to help in answering telephone calls and processing messages, we hired a temp service to provide a receptionist. Unfortunately, the young lady that was sent did not take the information from your communication and provide that to Ms. Thomas. We were completely unaware that you needed a schedule time change as well as a change in cleaning staff. I would like to apologize again that we have disappointed you. While I believe that all of my personnel have the best interest of our clientele in mind, I also understand that we do make mistakes from time-to-time. If you should change your mind, and would like to engage our service again, I would be more than happy to extend a service to you at no charge. This is not an attempt to 're-gain' your on-going business but more an attempt to amend our reputation and your belief in our firm - regardless of whether we ever provide service to you again. I started and have owned this franchise for 12 years. In those 12 years, there have been slip-ups and oops on occasion. The very last thing I want, however, is for a client to leave with a 'bad taste' for our firm. At the very least, I would want any client to feel we did our very best to make reparation. I don't feel that that is the case with your account. Regardless of whether you ever choose to do business with MaidPro again - I would appreciate the opportunity to 'make you whole' and provide the quality service you expect and deserve. Please consider my plea. Allow us to return to clean your home at no charge. I'm not asking for your continued business. The report consists of three visits presented in reverse chronological order, with the most recent post on top. The overall rating is Fair as the determination of the results were not exceptional but also not lousy. *** Update 09 SEP 2011 *** Here is the report from my friend on the 3rd cleaning provided by MaidPro, the one to try and remedy the situation. This third cleaning took place in a different location with 3 maids. "Overall, the quality of service was mediocre. I was only impressed with the cleanliness in my master bathroom. Everything looked great, and it was the quality of clean that I would have expected for my entire house. The guest bathroom toilet looked like it wasn't properly cleaned as I found a good amount of dust on both areas on the side portions that run parallel to the ground, and I also found a good amount of "gunk" still behind the toilet seat. The upstairs bathtub didn't look like it was even cleaned. The dusting solution that was used put streaks on all of my espresso-colored furniture, and I had to dust immediately after them. I even still found a few food spots and even a sticker after they "mopped" my kitchen floor. I guess it just wasn't the type of clean that I would expect from a cleaning service. I didn't ask them to clean that much, so I honestly expected the few areas that I did want clean to be exceptionally clean. Unfortunately, they did not live up to those expectations. - A.R. " ____________________ *** Update 06 SEP 2011*** MaidPro called in response to my Angie's List report below, and have requested to perform another cleaning to remedy the situation. They did point out that I had not called back after the second cleaning to let them know if the job had been performed to satisfaction and stated that it is their policy to return until the customer is satisfied. I look forward to seeing the results and hope I will be able to post a very positive review! ____________________ *** Original Posting: *** Performed 8 AUG 2011I had hired MaidPro to perform a "Move In/Move Out" cleaning as I did not have time between work and moving to perform a thorough cleaning myself. This includes scrubbing the floors and getting the dirt out of the cracks, cleaning the kitchen counters, the fridge, the stove top, and the bathroom. The house is pretty small, empty of furniture, and was for the most part all ready clean. I did a quick cleaning on the house and realized it would take far much more time than I had to do a proper job for a turnover, so I decided to hire Maid Pro. I was not at the house when they arrived, I didn't get home from work until they were mostly "finished", and there were three maids total. They cleaned the Fridge which looked pretty good, they mopped the floors but did not actually scrub them so they still had dirt all over, there was still dirt between the tiles, cobwebs up by the ceiling, and the kitchen counters still had dust and crumbs on them. The items on the counter had not been moved and cleaned under. The top of the stove above the knobs still had grime caked on. I called MaidPro, described why I thought the work was incomplete, and let them know that I thought they needed to come back to finish the job, and they agreed to come back on Saturday to complete the job at no additional charge and would have a supervisor inspect. The maids showed up on Saturday on time and started to clean. I was busy scrubbing the tile outside while they cleaned inside. When they were finished it looked pretty much exactly how it did when the started. I did not call MaidPro to notify them that I was still unsatisfied as I was turning the keys over the next day and they would not be able to re-clean it, and did not really want to attempt a third try. In the end, I think that if you are expecting a superior job with excellent attention to detail then I just can't recommend MaidPro, but if you're looking for someone to quick pick up after you, they may fit the bill.

The team from MaidPro was awesome. They were punctual, and did a bang up job. They cam in quickly, introdcued themselves and took a quick tour of the house and started working immediately. In no time at all, my house was clean and smelled awesome. I will definitely be using Maid Pro again.
Description of Work: I contacted MaidPro of Tampa for an estimate after reading the reviews here on Angies list and was so impressed with the level of professionalism given in just providing a quote for bi-weekly services. Unfortunately in the last 12 months I have been through 4 different house cleaning services, and felt like I had had hit the jackpot when I made contact with them. So, I called and got a very thorough questioning to generate the estimate and the team came to my house within 4 days. They arrived on time (actually 5 minutes early) and did what they call the classic clean which has like a 49 point check list. The office lady had estimated 3 hours to clean my house and the team of 2 girls completed this clean in just under the estimated 3 hours. And they did a fantastic job.

I spent $185 on that service. They are very punctual and they do a good basic cleaning. I am using them temporarily now because someone who was helping me has gone. Their price is reasonable and they are very good about doing what needs to be done. The employees are very nice, punctual, and professional.
Description of Work: I use Tampa MaidPro for house cleaning. The last time I used them was two weeks ago.

Description of Work: Evelyn did a fantastice job. She cleaned every surface including sweeping my patio. Not a surface was missed. My only complaint is you cannot request the same person to come back. You get who you get.

Needed a great gift for my wife for our anniversary. Looked up MaidPro, after many friends telling what a wonderful company it is. I called and talked to the most professional staff, who helped with all my questions and worries of hiring a "maid" service. The staff offered a gift certificate which was awesome, and ready for pick up when I arrived. When my wife finally decided to use gift. MaidPro office fit us in on short notice, and when the ladies arrived they where within the window they gave, very friendly, didn't have to tell them much about my home, they got right to work even cleaned areas of our home we had forgotten all about, my bathrooms had never been so clean. and even gave a few friendly tips on how to keep it up. We would most definitely use them again in the future, and recommend MaidPro to anyone looking for a affordable, friendly, and efficient company.
