Always top notch.
Description of Work: They have been cleaning my home for about 5 years now. They do such a nice job and have a wonderful crew of housekeepers. I'm in my 80s and need special services from time to time. I just call Julie at MaidPro and she takes care of everything! I've never had any trouble with them. In fact, they are always really helpful to me.

Description of Work: Called the week before to place the order, and explained I was leasing the home and the work needed to be done on Tuesday, August 21 and then the carpets needed to be cleaned following their cleaning visit. They explained that they would be there between 8AM and 1PM with an estimate of $350, and recommended the name of a carpet cleaner to come in after them. They sent me an email on Sunday the 19th confirming the time. I called them on Monday the 20th, confirming the time. On Tuesday, when I hadn't seen or heard from them by 12:15 I called. They called the crew that was to do the work and explained that the house they were working on was going to take more time than they expected and that they would call me back. At 1:13, having not yet heard from them I called them back. After several calls (me to them, they did not call me), they sent a different crew who arrived at 3:40, they explained that they would credit me for 2 hours/$100 for the inconvenience. I had to leave the house by 6 to catch a flight which I had explained several times. While the cleaners were in the house, the office called and explained that it would take longer than they expected and that the price would be $375 which was more than the original estimate even after the 2 hour credit. Between the other job that ran over and mine, they clearly are not very good at estimating time. I didn't have the opportunity, given the fact that I had to leave, to check the work, but expect that it was OK. If nothing else, since the carpet cleaners arrived and did THEIR job on time, they were walking (in their stocking feet) on clean carpet which is not recommended when it is wet. Their confirmation email to me on the 19th, indicated all of the penalties if I had to cancel/reschedule within 2 days of the scheduled appointment. Their credit was not equal to the inconvenience that they caused. If I hadn't called them first, not sure when I would have heard from them. I would not use them again nor recommend them. A terrible experience.

We are so very remorseful that we disappointed our common client. We were in-fact outside our arrival window, missing the time by two hours. This is absolutely not acceptable and we will make reparations within our organization to insure that this does not happen again. Nonetheless, our client was rushed trying to get the carpet cleaned in the home and make a flight out of TIA that evening. I'm sure that he was quite frustrated. Had we arrived when promised, none of this would have been an issue as he was very pleased with the quality of our work. While it was of little value, we did refund our client $224 of the paid $375 for the inconvenience. In addition, we further gave him an absolutely free Classic Clean service on the residence for use within 6 months. We want our client to know that we fully understand the gravity of our error and are fully apologetic for the trouble we caused. We thank our client for his business and look forward to providing the free Classic Clean service at his convenience.

Description of Work: Price included tip (prior to them being finished) because I left the home prior to them finishing. I believe I employed them for about 9 months and my last clean is just a guess. I paid by check and could find the last day they came into my home. During the time they were there, little by little, I noticed some of my jewelry was "misplaced". During the time they began and their last so-called clean, I added up the missing jewelry to add up to in excess of $15,000. I let the schedule person know why I didn't want them back and she simply said, 'that's too bad, I wish I would have known.' Without a hidden camera, there is no way I could have said, they stole my jewelry, some of it irreplaceable. I had many pieces from my family that passed away many years ago - it was all I had left. They were the only people in the house during that time. Because of this, I have anxiety attacks knowing someone is coming into my house, i.e., floor cleaner. I lock all bedroom doors and hide anything valuable to me. These people should not be in business. I would never let them in my home without someone to be constantly with them. If I had that kind of time, I could do it myself and have had to change my work schedule so I can get my house cleaned and work 60 hours a week. They only did a so-so job, but I always tipped well because I knew the amount of dog hair in the home. When they cleaned the kitchen, which I require to be completely clean, they didn't move small appliances- just cleaned around them. They never cleaned the inside of the toaster, microwave or any surface they didn't deem accessible. I wouldn't even mind cleaning behind them. It was the theft that totally sent me wild. The scheduling person's scoffing attitude made me realize I can never have anyone into my home. I used to use Royal Maid Service and while they, too, were not all that detailed, I trusted them and they never touched anything that was not theirs'. In other words, in 2 years, they never stole anything from me. I cannot recommend MAID PRO to clean your outhouse!!!!

The member was a client of our firm from December 24, 2007 to September 8, 2008. On September 22,2008, Cheryl Brown was in the Tampa office making reminder calls to clients who have upcoming service. When the member received her reminder on that date, it was then that she told Ms. Brown that she had some jewelry missing and believed that our staff was responsible. Ms. Brown told the member that she would immediately send a Claim Form with the details of the conversation regarding the theft completed within, and that she would need to call the Police immediately and report the theft and return the form signed, with the information requested within. Two days later, Ms.Brown called the member again and this time, left a message on her voice mail –inquiring on the status of the claim as she had not heard from the Police. She did not hear back from the member. On September 29, 2008, the General Manager of our office, Dorothy Betties, called the member, again to follow-up on the status of the paperwork and the contact information for the Police and left a message. Ms. Betties never received a return call. All MaidPro Service Providers are licensed, bonded, and insured. Additionally, we background check all staff at MaidPro and none of the employees who were involved in cleaning the member's home had any issues or complaints of this nature from any other client. In addition, the employees involved were long-time employees of MaidPro. In our case, our insurance carrier does not require a conviction in order to fund a client for a loss. Our insurance carrier funds on reasonable doubt. If the member had sent the paperwork in and called the Police, our insurance carrier would have been extremely proactive to resolve the loss, even without proof that our staff did in-fact take the jewelry. To our dismay, we have discovered that the member still believes that our staff stole her jewelry and has instead elected to take her grievance up on the internet via websites such as Angie’s List. When we were made aware of this, we called Ms.Hirsch again. This time, my current General Manager, Julie Thomas, made repeated calls to the member. After a week of leaving multiple messages on her voice mail, the member's daughter returned our calls. She told Ms.Thomas that her mother did not like to return calls but she would encourage her to call and speak to us. Ms. Thomas conveyed again to her daughter that we truly wanted to resolve the issue and needed information from her in order to do that. Ms. Thomas also called our insurance broker who said that even given the extended time that this occurred (4 years ago), we would still be able to file a claim on her behalf. The only thing we needed was to speak with the member in order to get the Police Report and/or Detectives information to process the claim. Our broker promised to handle the case personally in order to get it resolved. At the time of writing this, we have still not received a call from the member. It has been a week since the dialogue with her daughter. We will continue to call her, in hopes that she will communicate with us and resolve this matter to her satisfaction.

I had never used a service prior to this, only individuals offering cleaning. I was pleasantly surprised. The ladies arrived pn time and were efficient and thorough in getting right to it. They exceeded my expectations in how quickly they were able to produce a very clean house. They asked questions and wanted to be sure it was done my way. I will use them again.

Description of Work: Ruthie was Amazing!!! This was far the best service I have ever had. She hit all of my pin points and even did some additional organizing ontop of my dresser. MaidPro sent two ladies over. They showed up right on time and got to work. One of the ladies was a veteran and the other was described as a "trainee". They spent about 2 hours cleaning, which met the estimate (2 people x 2 hours). The veteran worked hard the entire time; the trainee less so. (The trainee disappeared completely for a little while, to the consternation of the veteran.) They missed the washer/dryer room entirely, but cleaned it quickly once this was pointed out. We didn't do a thorough inspection of the house while the maids were there, which was a mistake. On further examination the quality of the job was VERY hit-or-miss. The parts that the veteran cleaned looked great, but there were numerous parts of the house that were only lightly cleaned, if at all. Here's a partial list of the problems we discovered the next day and had to clean ourselves: * The floor of the master shower wasn't cleaned very well and still showed mold and soap scum * The kitchen backsplash was missed entirely * The kitchen cabinet faces weren't cleaned * The top of the stove (remember we paid extra for a stove cleaning) wasn't cleaned at all. The inside of the stove door wasn't clean * The inside of the freezer door was still dirty * Some baseboards were still dirty * Some interior doors were still dirty * The built-in shelves in the master bedroom were missed There was plenty done well, however. The 1,300 sq. ft of hardwood floors in particular looked great, as did the carpet. It was obvious that we were victims of getting a poor maid for our service. After following up with MaidPro they said that particular person no longer worked for them, and they offered a free refrigerator cleaning in compensation for our trouble. This was ok, but it was disappointing having to spend a couple of hours of our own time cleaning after we had already paid a professional cleaning service to do it for us. MaidPro was aware that there was a problem with the trainee while they were cleaning and it would have been nice if they had been more proactive ensuring the house was actually clean before leaving. My recommendation is to make sure you do a thorough inspection before signing off on the work.
Description of Work: We were moving out of our townhome and putting the property on the market for sale. We contracted with MaidPro to do a "move out clean", including paying extra to have the refrigerator and stove cleaned. The townhome was a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath, about 2,000 sq ft. and the estimate was for 4 hours of labor.

The work went just fine. They did a good job. I spent $140 for 3 hours of cleaning.
Description of Work: I used MaidPro of Tampa. I had a rental condo that was damaged and it needed some pre cleaning, particularly the bathroom. They did what they call a move in or move out cleaning.

They come out once every two weeks. They are very conscientious and honest. If they find a piece of jewelry or a check, they will leave it out for you to find. They work very well with our animals and are not afraid of our dogs. They work around them well. If we ever need any cleaning done for a special occasion they are very good about coming out in a timely manner. They are also bonded, so if they break anything they repair it. The price listed is per visit. Another nice thing, they try to send the same people to your house so that they can be familiar with you and your house and what you want done.
Description of Work: They clean our floors, vacuum, clean our bathrooms, change the sheets on our beds and basic overall cleaning.
