Description of Work: We needed a complete pool renovation. We had received 4 quotes from the top pool companies on Angie's List. All 4 prices were similar. Because of their great reviews, we decided to call Larsen's for one more final quote and if they were competitive with the other bids, we were just going to go ahead and use them. Eric Larson was nice on the phone. Joe came out and took the measurements and brought out a photo album of pools they had done. Time went on and no quote so I had to call the office to receive a quote by email. The quote was hand written sloppy and very hard to read. I was so disappointed in the price. It was almost $15,000 more than the average quote we had received. They clearly did not want to do my pool renovation.

Description of Work: Remodeled the entire pool area, resurfaced the pool, added a deck in the shallow area for chairs and an umbrella, re-did the cage screen after extending the deck out seven feet. The new deck is travertine pavers instead of the old cement deck. added a waterfall and laid new plumbing. |The staff were very professional and courteous and EXTREMELY responsive to our concerns and needs.

Description of Work: Full pool remodel, resurface and pavers. Eric was amazing in getting everything set up coming out and providing estimate and helping suggest colors and different options. Then his team headed up by Bob and Jeremy was top of the line. They were on top of everything and if I had any questions, concerns or anything I was given their cell phone numbers and they came out to the house many times through out the week and a half that it took for the job to be completed. They were amazing I would hire them in a heartbeat again and recommend them for sure to anyone who asked. I am so pleased with the job they did, it's like day and night from what it was to what it is now.

+ 2 moreWhen my husband and I first began looking for a pool builder, we did not quite know where to start. Neither of us had ever owned a pool, and we were nervous about all it would entail . After researching online, I picked three companies in our area to interview. Based on their websites, and reviews, a A+ rating with the BBB, all the companies seemed comparable. However, after the I met with each company, I knew that Larsen's Pool and Spa was a great fit. Immediately when I met Dave and Eric (the owner and father) I felt a personal connection. I knew with them, I would receive individual and personable attention. Also, they were the only company where I actually got to meet the owner...imagine that! A few days after our initial meeting, they sent me via email a design that was exactly what we had pictured. The other companies had also presented nice designs, but of course, you cannot choose just based on a drawing. The Larsen's price was comparable to the other 2 companies, as all of them were within a few hundred dollars of each other. The warranty and the time frame though, were best with the Larsens, along with the service, which already could not be surpassed. So it is obvious who we chose to build our dream pool.... During the pool building process, everything went smoothly. Their crews arrived on time, and worked to their fullest potential. Almost every day, Dave Larsen stopped by to check the development. You don't see that kind of attention anywhere! Everyone from the digging crew to the paving crew was super-professional and polite. The pool equipment, plumbing, electrical, and other details that are involved with pool building seemed like second nature to this company. Furthermore, the Larsen's provided daily communication on progress, and immediately answered any questions we had regarding all aspects of pool and pool service. Most of all, the outcome was a dream come true. Our pool is even better than we imagined. For something built in only 6 weeks, this pool is going to give us memories to last a lifetime. Thank you Larsen's Pool and Spa!

The owner was very professional as well as very knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable with eric larsen at every phase of the pool being built... The time in which he stated was met and also there was no disruption to our daily routine . His workers were very neat and respectful we enjoyed the whole experience quite abit...I have refered him to my neighbor as well as firefighters who i work with in the pinellas county area.
