My 23 year old marcite pool looks like new, which was the objective! The work was done promptly and professionally. What impressed me most was their attitude to do 'the right thing'. I got a fair price in the beginning, and as is inevitable, 'surprises' occur during project execution. Larsen's did not 'nickel and dime' me with excessive charges to handle the scope changes. In fact, they did not charge me at all for several of the improvements and component upgrades that they took upon themselves to add to the project!

THE RESULT WAS PERFECT! THEY WERE VERY EASY TO WORK WITH AND ALL OF THEIR CONTRACTORS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID EXPERT CRAFTMANSHIP. THEY ALL TOOK GREAT CARE TO MAKE SURE WE WERE HAPPY DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS. WE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE POOL INSTALLATION OTHER THAN THE WEATHER! WE KNOW WE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE BY HAVING LARSEN'S DO OUR POOL & SPA. YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR A MORE DEDICATED GROUP OF PEOPLE TO HANDLE THE JOB FROM BEGINNING TO END.

The project went exceptionally smooth. As with any project, things arise and when they did, Eric and Dave Larsen called me immediately to discuss details and problem solve. My pool was built in like 11 weeks from breaking ground to clean-up of the site. The workers were all friendly and professional. Eric and Dave are reliable, honest, easy to work with and sell you the pool and accessories that you want. I received about 5 estimates, several from high end pool builders who always were trying to sell me things, and Eric's was comparable to most estimates. However, I got a feeling of honesty and trust from Eric that I did not get from any other salesman. It may be because he is involved in the pool project from start to finish and does not sell products and then turn the project over to someone else. I am so happy I hired Larsen's pool. Our pool is perfect.

Probably the BEST contractor I have ever dealt with and I've been improving my homes for over 30 years. From the initial contact to the last day (and beyond) every employee and owner of the company have been nothing but helpful, professional and courteous beyond all expectations. The office staff and installers were always available and open to suggestions . Joe Fleming was a great resource and informed sales rep. Eric was very understanding with our time constraints and worked around all our requests. Dave , the project manager, was at the site everyday to check on the work and made sure all was perfect. Am so impressed with their work I have hired them to maintain my pool all year round. Would HIGHLY recommend for any and all pool/paver work.

A great experience working with Larsen's Pool and Spa! This is a company that takes pride in its quality workmanship and customer care. From the very first meeting with all the people involved - Joe in sales, Dave Larsen the supervisor and the crews who performed the different aspects of the job- everyone was courteous, efficient and prompt. Carlos and his crew were absolute artists and did a beautiful and very fast job on the pavers, especially considering the large area that we had to do. Dave Larsen kept us appraised on every aspect of the job and was a real pleasure to work with. The crew that worked on the pool did a fantastic job - the pool is absolutely gorgeous! I don't have enough words to express what a great experience this reno was! We highly recommend the services of Larsen's Pool and Spa.

Joe came out within a few days of my initial call and at the time we agreed. This was after 4pm to accommodate my work schedule. He took approximately half an hour to take measurements and prepare the estimate, which I received within a day or two. The quote was the highest I received. In the end, I decided on another company mainly due to that company being able to also rescreen my pool cage for the same amount as this quote, but I would not hesitate to have Larsens perform work in the future. About the only thing that could've been better about this process was the estimate itself. I received a 7-line email with the amounts for each of the 7 major processes involved. All the other estimates I received were broken down into a bit more detail which for a detail-oriented person suited me a bit better. I was able to better understand some of the details in each process this way.

The process was great. Picking out the shape of the pool, tiles and all the details of what we wanted, Larsen's Pool came through. From the guys who came to dig the hole, the mason who placed the tiles, the plumbers, the cement placement guys, Jason and especially Dave Larsen who was in charge of the whole operation from beginning to end were the best! If I had any question or concern Dave was on top of it. Thanks Dave!

Larsens staff provided top notch quality services from top to bottom/start to finish. I would choose them again in a heart beat!

They started the pool in Oct. We were told the timeline and the different stages of construction. Everyone that worked on the pool was very professional and very nice. I enjoyed meeting all the different crews. Dave came out during each stage to check things out. If we had any questions or concerns Dave was right on it. The whole process went very smooth and was finished on time. Our new pool is beautiful. I just can't say enough about Larsen Pools. I would definitely recommend them.

Let me first say that if you don't go with Larsen's Pool & Spa you are doing an injustice to yourself. We joined Angie's List to find a pool company after 4 others either did not show up or we just had a bad feeling about. We found Larsen's Pool & Spa on here as well as a couple of others. From the first call to the Office we were treated like Royalty. First we were visited on time by Joe, one of there sales people. He listened to our wants and needs and sat down and drew out the pool right in front of us. Its was cool to watch. He then sent us a Color Rendition the next day. We were so impressed with the drawing and the price we jumped at it. The next day we went to there office to pick out the materials that we wanted and put down a small deposit. We were told that for our particular job it was going to be 6 to 8 weeks from the time they started. That put us just after Thanksgiving for the finish and we were having a big family event that day. I asked if they might be able to get it done before then and they said they would do there best. Not only was it done before, they kept telling me the whole way that they were going to have it done so we would have a nice pool for the party. Thats caring about your customer! As far as the construction went, Dave Larsen was in charge of the whole arrangement of contractors and workers. He was a pleasure to work with. Everything he said was right on and he was accessible by phone or text any time of the day. He even called several times a week to give updates on what they did and what they were doing next. All of the people he sent were incredibly nice and professional. They could not do enough to answer our questions and made sure we were happy before they left. It began last May when we started looking on Angie's list for pool remodelers. We soon made an appointment with Joe at Larsen's and he visited our home and looked at the pool. After Joe's inspection we spent a good deal of time discussing our options for the pool re-hab. Our pool was built in approx. 1973 and had no major renovations since it's construction. The deck area had been expanded, but that was about all. The pool was still usable and we had been doing so, but it's appearance was rough with bird baths in a few places, broken in pool ladder, non-functional pool light, two 3 X 3 foot openings where plants had been in the deck, with various cracks and stains in the kool deck. Larsen's offered more appearance options than other estimates we had obtained, seemed more willing to exactly explain the entire process and was able to accommodate our desire to complete the re-hab in the fall after the current pool season has normally ended. All the aforementioned plus the excellent reviews on Angie's list capping our decision: Larsen's was our choice. It's worth mentioning I suppose, Larsen's was not the least expensive contractor by a good bit, but our trust the Larsen's providing the best possible outcome out weighed the price factor. In November, right on time, Larsen personnel were at our home and began work. Drained pool, inspected, and began the actual rehab. It was dusty as had been explained to us and took exactly the time we were told to plan for. From first work, to pool start-up, it was nothing except professional and friendly service: No exceptions . They explained what they were doing, left the work site tidy each night, and were aware of the area surrounding the pool and careful as possible. There was much dust as we had chose the Travertine instead of pavers and cutting created quite a cloud of dust, but again we had been informed this would be the case. We are extremely happy with our new pool (we call it that because it (other than size) has little resemblance to the pool Larsen's began with). We are glad we chose Larsen's and would do so again without reservation.

As first time Pool owners, we went through the process of talking to several pool companies before deciding to work with Larsen's Pool and Spa. We are very pleased with the construction of our new Pool and Deck. The contractors worked with us from the beginning to ensure that we were comfortable with everything from the design to the products being used. They took my raw design and made it a reality, keeping my vision in mind at all times. Dave Larsen did a outstanding job of addressing our issues and concerns and keeping us informed of the timeline to included any changes due to weather. Through each phase he ensured that we were a wear of all steps that were taken. We love the new addition to our home, and would recommend this company to anyone. I was dissapointed. First trying to get a call back was an issue. I had to make a couple of calls to finally talk to someone. The owner tole me he was sending someone else out to our house that had only been with him for under a year. To me that says I do not have time for you because you live out of my way. He arrived and did not seem very sure of himself. He really pushed Hayward products. which made me weary by the end of the presentation. It turned out out of all the quotes we had this one was $8,000 over the other quotes. In addition he told us information in regards to what would be code and an issue top our pool build that turned out to be false. He showed me a picture of his family at the end. The company I went with did a fantastic job for a lot less and there was no zoning issues and the owner was a veteran . Definitely shop around. I am very careful with all my purchase.

The contractor worked with us from beginning to end to accommodate all of our wishes and requests, including all of the times we changed our minds, and finessed the details.! This was our first new pool build, but Dave Larsen did a marvelous job of addressing our concerns and keeping us informed of the process, and endeavouring to complete the job in a timely manner. Work was completed in 3 months, and we now have a wonderful addition to our home. We could not be happier, and would recommend this company to anyone. There is a definite advantage to working with a local, family owned company like this.

We went through the process of talking to a few pool companies and Larsen's seem to be the most knowledgeable about the process. They were very up front with us throughout the whole process with the time line and when people would be working. They were right on with their timeline. We enjoyed working with everybody, (Adam, Dave, Justin) they are all they very good and we would recommend them to anybody.

To all of you who are looking to build a pool I hope this will help in your decision making process. I am in the construction materials business and very familiar with project management, quality and most importantly customer service. Larsen?s Pool and Spa did not disappoint. We did begin construction in the heart of rainy season so we did experience some delays but with summer downpours they were inevitable. However, Dave made sure he was in constant communication with us with every stage of the pool build. The subcontractors they used were very meticulous and as you can see by the pictures the end result is fantastic. Construction can be very stressful for a consumer and Larsen?s Pool & Spa understands this by staying in constant communication not to mention personally checking the progress. If you are in doubt please understand that I am a customer only and was not directed in any way to give a favorable review. I chose them based off Angie?s list recommendations and very happy I did. Now my family is enjoying our new back yard oasis thanks to Larsen's. Good luck and trust the reviews you will not be disappointed.

THEY HAVE AN A+ RATING AND THE REVIEWS WERE OUTSTANDING EVEN MENTIONING THE VARIOUS PEOPLE'S NAMES INVOLVED IN THE DIFFERENT PHASES OF CONSTRUCTION. BEING AN ENGINEER AND VICE PRESIDENT OF A NATION WIDE LARGE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY I KNEW THE NEGATIVE SIDE OF HIRING A CONTRACTOR FOR A HIGH DOLLAR PROJECT. WELL TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT LARSENS DID A FANTASTIC JOB FROM ERIC THE OWNER AND JOE THE DESIGNER DURING THE NEGOTIATING, DAVE ERIC'S DAD WHO OVERSEE'S THE CONSTRUCTION TO CARLOS THE PAVERS INSTALLATION GURU. ALL THE SUBS THEY USED FOR SITE CLEARING, EXCAVATION, REBAR SHELL FORMING, CONCRETE INSTALLATION, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL WERE PROFESSIONAL AND ON TIME. I MADE A POINT TO SPEAK TO EVERY SUB ABOUT LARSENS AND THEY ALL WISHED THERE OTHER CLIENTS PAID THEM AS FAST AS LARSEN'S DID (THIS SHOWED I HAD NO WORRIES ABOUT LIENS BEING PLACED FROM NON-PAYMENT). LARSEN'S PROVIDED LEIN RELEASES WITH EACH PAYMENT I MADE DURING THE INSTALLATION. THE WHOLE SIX WEEK INSTALLATION (DURING SUMMER RAINEY SEASON) WENT AS PLANNED AND WAS A PLEASENT EXPIERENCE. WE WOULD RECOMMEND LARSEN'S TO ANYONE THAT IS CONSIDERING A POOL INSTALLATION ESPECIALLY IF REQUIRES A CUSTOM FIT INTO AND EXISTING TIGHT SITE.

If your reading this review to narrow down your pool builder search, hopefully this one will be that last you read. We agonized between about 3 different pool builders, but with Larson's Pools excellent Angie's list rating, we took the plunge with them and we have had no regrets. They are straight up nice guys, with a wonderful balance in customer service and excellent craftsmanship. Their whole family is is the business, all easy to work with, and all down right nice people too!. Dave and Eric always kept us informed, were always straight with us, and flexible for our needs. They always let you know what is going on so your not left hanging, and keep to their time lines. Dave told us our pool would take 6-8 weeks and we were swimming closer to the 6 week mark (good thing to start before the rainy season!) Now that it is over, I can't imagine working with a pool builder who would be better and easier to work with. We have never owned a pool before, and both of us have a high attention to detail so we can be somewhat picky in my opinion. Dave always tried to give us what we were looking for, and has a most excellent personality to deal with customers. Believe me, when doing something so massive to your home and all the decisions and stress that go along with that, this personality trait in a pool contractor is an important one! Honestly, they don't come any better than him. Most all of their subs were good, and then some of them like Carlos are the best around. The care he took with our pavers was exceptional, treating the job like he was doing his own home. He also wants to make you happy and will take the extra time to explain things or go the extra mile for you. Some other ones that I took note of were Lou and Ren for the electrical, Larry and Kevin for the screen enclosure, and Trent for the gutters. Joel who does the acid wash of the pool, Dave the "do it all guy", Justin for the pool school, and the shotcrete crew, were also a delight to work with. When working with subs, you can't always control what you are going to get, but as you can see, our experience with most of the people Larson's chooses was noteworthy and pleasant. I would definitely recommend the homeowner be home as much as possible when the important things are being done. This way you can meet these nice folks as well as give your input into the final product. The most important thing being if anything doesn't go as planned, Dave and Eric will make it right. The people at Larson pools were easy to work with, and always straight with us. We never any feelings of dishonesty, no over selling, they worked with in our budget, and made good suggestions that would work well for us. As consumers, we all look for the same things. We want a fair price, good quality work, and people who you can trust and work with. I feel we got all of these things from Larson's Pools, and above all, I doubt anyone can beat their customer service and customer focus. Meeting went very well. However, decided to meet with other pool installation companies before making a decision. In the end I went with All Seasons Pools.

That you keep seeing these wonderful reviews is no surprise. I'm a huge "value" guy (card carrying member of BOTH Costo & Sams club) and paid 20% more for Larsen's services (over a much larger competitor) and it was the best $$$$ I've ever spent. Joe, Eric & Dave were patient with my questions - and their follow up/followthru was terrific. Dave went above & beyond during the installation phase to make sure things were taken care of (I was relocating and could not be on property). The majority of value in getting pool work done (new or restoration) is in the follow up/follothrough - no better than this team!

I joined Angie's list to find a Pool company... Best investment ever. My experience with Larsen's Pool & Spa can be summed up with one word... PERFECT! Joe came out and checked out the yard, walked us through the process, and provided a quote within days. We wanted something outside the typical cookie cutter package and Joe worked with us to design exactly what we wanted. The quote was comparable to others we received, but what sold us was visiting their store and meeting Eric the owner. After a few hiccups with the permit (all the city's fault, not Larsen's), construction started on a Tuesday following the permit approval. Dave Larsen (Eric's father) managed the entire project and we were in constant contact from start to finish. Week 1: The guys that came out and prepped the yard, and the digger was here the following day and dug the hole in one day. This crew was great. By end of the week, we had our first inspection approved and a a fully formed pool Week 2: Concrete guys were here and sprayed the concrete in one day. Plumbing started and they even worked on Saturday. Again, great crews, on time every day. Week 3: Electrical and plumbing were completed and those permits were approved. Week 4: Paver guys prepped in the afternoon on Monday, and were done laying the travertine deck by end of day Wednesday. Carlos' crew was great and walked me through the design to ensure proper drainage. By end of the week, we got our first glance of how the pool and deck looked.... Awesome! Week 5: Pool finish was done, and we had water and a working pool by Friday. Unfortunately we needed to do an acid treatment so couldn't swim until Monday, but it was well worth the wait. Dave Larsen was great, called me at least 2 or 3 time a week to keep me posted on the progress, and returned my calls/texts within hours. We had to negotiate some changes here and there and Dave was more than fair. We even got some great upgrades at no cost. I can't say enough about how happy my family is with the pool and how stress-free the whole thing was working with Dave.
