He was very good. They showed up on time and he was a very pleasant guy.

We have excellent service with them. The professionalism of the whole company from start to finish is great, from when I call to book the appointment to when the technician shows up.

They were very nice over the phone and the person that answered got me someone there within the house. They explained to me that the switch was installed incorrectly and they had to fix it. It was a simple fix according to them. They quoted my mother (I was at the doctors office with my daughter on an emergency visit) 264 dollars. I asked the guy why it was so high, if it was just a simple fix. He said they go by standard pricing from some book they use. (i dont know) I told him I was an Angie's List member and that there was a coupon for 25 or 50 off their services. He said they could not honor it because we hadn't printed it up. (I am at the doctors with a sick 5 yr old and my mother is the only one home. I am trying to solve both problems but my mother doesnt know how to use a printer so I couldn't print it up at that moment.) Now I know sometimes you have to buy deals from Angie's List or sometimes there is a special code on a coupon, but this was not the case. The coupon just said 25 or 50 off. I was so frustrated because he didn't offer any alternative solutions, just very matter of factly said, "either we fix the problem for 264 or you owe us 88 for the diagnostic" My mom ended up just caving because she didn't know when the next time we could get someone out would be. When I got home I asked her how long it took them, she said less than an hour. (For labor only?? All the pieces were there!) Oh, the hispanic guy, however, was very nice to my mom. ******UPDATE******* Today I received a very nice letter of apology along with a check for $25.00 from Mr. Hoffman himself! It is nice to know that he actually listened to what I had to say. It is very refreshing. I updated my review of this company because they went the extra step to right a wrong. I am very pleased. Also, the work they did is still working wonderfully. No complaints! Thank you Mr. Hoffman. From a single mother of 2 that works full time and goes to school full time as well. Your actions do not go unappreciated :)

I had an ugly commercial grade set of lights in my kitchen that I needed replaced. Mark D. from Hoffman was right on time, and changed out both lights- including turning one into a ceiling fan!- in less than 2 hours. He was courteous , efficient and very friendly. I have used Hoffman before and they are the only company I would trust to come into my house and do the job quickly, correctly, and economically!

I had a very good experience with this company. I called up the owner, Mark, to see if I can get electrical work done preferably same-day since I needed to have the electrical outlet moved to a different area so that my dishwasher can be installed with enough clearance in the back. He went out of his way to check out a few things first and offered the best solution. He was able to have one of his electricians come out to my house within an hour. The electrician who did the work was very professional and knowledgable. He got the job done and am very satisfied with the quality of work. Some of the other electrical companies/electricians listed on Angie's list were either all booked up for a week or two or wouldn't give me a quote over the phone whereas Hoffman Electrical quoted me a reasonable price and came to my house within an hour. I would definitely use them again.

A different electrician had installed a water heater timer for us and hooked it up incorrectly which fried the timer and meant we had no hot water. Hoffman was able to come out the next day and remove the faulty timer, restoring our hot water. We also had them run electrical to a new ceiling fan we had installed on our porch with an aluminum roof. Hoffman was able to run the wiring through the roof resulting in a very clean install. They are not the cheapest, but the quality of the work is top notch and they are punctual and professional.

After I was unable to replace two light switches in the guest bathroom and have them work, I called Hoffman's on a Thursday afternoon. Within about 90 minutes, our technician Rich Collazo arrived. He quickly identified two problems done from the original home builder which kept me from doing the repair myself. He replaced both light switches and fixed the wiring problem. Our family has used many different businesses from Angies List in the past and have had generally a good experience with most all of them. What has seperated Hoffman's from all the rest was the office that moved things around so we could get the quickest service possible and the technician Rich. We have never had a more pleasant interaction with a service technician and that includes everything from knowledge, professionalism and customer relations. When the service was completed and Rich left, my wife and I both agreed that this was the best overall service we have ever had. Not only do we recommend Hoffman's, but we strongly recommend Rich Collazo as well to do the work.

I called and asked if they ran internet cables, was put on hold for short time, then was told yes they can do that. I asked if she could give me any kind of an estimate on cost and I was told that they would come out and give me an estimate and if I wanted to do the work they would do it right then and if not that was ok, too. She asked if Monday at 8:00 would be ok and I said yes. At 8:30 they had not arrived so I called and was told that they normally have a staff meeting at that time and someone should be out in another 15-20 mins (why schedule an appointment when you know you can't make it?). The person finally showed up at 9:00 am at which point I was told it would be $88 for the estimate whether they did any work or not. I was not told about this on the phone and would not have agreed to have them come out without some kind of verbal guesstimate. He then quoted $226 per each installation (one run would be in the room where the box is on the other side of the wall and one would be across the house, but it was $226 each). I had cables run before for significantly less cost and declined all services based on their inability to show up anywhere near the appointment time, the fact that I wasn't told about the estimate fee and the high cost of the actual work.

They are a good company. The price was absolutely awesome.

He was excellent. He did some difficult work with recessed lighting. My house has very high ceilings and it was difficult for him to get them in the right position. But he kept working until he got it done. He was very responsive. They’re not the cheapest people in the world but they do do excellent work. They are very quick to respond. They have a price book and they charge by the job, not by the hour.

Expect quality service, Very proffesional and reasonably priced. I am so thankful if I have anymore problems I can call Mike and he will get the job done. He was referred to me by a close friend who has used Mike on several projects with a very good outcome
