We got a card for the inspection and just then the Moen faucet they put in the kitchen started leaking. The plumber came out and showed me a part in the faucet had broken. Moen has a lifetime guarantee. They will not deal with the plumbing company, so I had to go online and pick out the part needed. The Moen site is easy to use and they sent the part free of charge. My husband was able to install the faucet. There was no charge from the plumbing company.

Outstanding. We received 3 quotes from top rated Angies list vendors. Grable was our final quote. They not only crushed the competition in price but they crushed the competition in professionalism, honesty and excellent quality of service. They drive very clean trucks and John who provided the quote also completed the work. I will definitely hire Grable again and again.

They did have to come back a couple of times to address some issues, but overall they did a good job.

They refused to provide a service call

We called Grable Plumbing for a quote to replace a toilet flange. We had pulled the toilet and done all the clean up of the area. All we needed was for a plumber to come in and remove the old flange and install a new one. Grable plumbing had one of their techs call me with a quote, as the techs have books with prices in their vehicles. They quoted me above $300 for this job, I declined and called another plumber (a master plumber with 30 years experience) the job cost me half as much as this quote. Overall, Grable was quick to respond, very polite even though I decided to take my business elsewhere but expensive.

Eddy was in the area having done other shut off valve replacements in the complex and my husband asked him if he could do ours because the provider we had an appointment with never showed up (Coggins plumbing) nor did we get a call from the company saying no one was coming after all. We only had a 3 hour window of time to accomplish this task while the main water line was shut off for the complex. Eddy came to the rescue and did a fine job.

Our old water softener broke and expelled resin beads into our water lines blocking many of the faucets. We called first thing in the morning and they came right over. By mid morning I had a new water softener and running water. Paul was professional, prompt and courteous. I've used Grable Plumbing since 2002 and have never been disappointed.

Our hot water heater started leaking around 4:30 yesterday afternoon. Grable had installed it, so I called. They had someone at the house by 7 p.m., and even tho the warranty had expired (by 6 days!!), they gave me a grace period and didn't charge me anything. You do tend to pay Grable a little more than some plumbers, but they respond quickly and stand behind their work.

My washing machine was not draining properly and backing up out of the wall outlet. When the plumber arrived, he asked if I had a cleanout vent on the outside of the house, and I didn't know. I told him there was a vent for something on the top of the roof (I only know because this region of the roof leaked several years ago), and he said that wasn't it. He followed the plumbing from the washing machine around the yard and found a section that runs slightly uphill. He declared that the problem, and wrote me an estimate for $2300 to lay new plumbing and install a sump pump, because the distance the water had to travel was too great for the rise/run of the plumbing --- so he said. He left muddy tracks all over my house - yes, it was a rainy day, but I use other AC/appliance companies who fastidiously use shoe covers or at least wipe their feet before coming in! A few weeks later, I had a different plumber come out (Olin Plumbing), who FOUND my cleanout and identified that the problem was the cap on that cleanout vent. The problem was solved for $190, not $2300. I was very disappointed that a company so well-reviewed on Angie's List would have made such a gaffe. I know it's hard to review a company that did not actually perform work, but the disparity in price and completely wrong diagnosis would make me look elsewhere, if I was reading reviews.

Our water was running because of a bad O ring on our old softener. We couldn't shop around as to water pouring out into our driveway. Grable Plumbing was only company able to respond in a reasonable amount of time. Shut off water and bypassed old system. Put in new system next morning. Pretty expensive.

John was courteous and prompt. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the parts needed in the leaking toilet tank. He checked the other toilets tanks as well.

He gave us a referral and helped us locate the mold source--did not charge us! I've used them before and they are a great service. They are kind and neat and very personable people. I did refer a neighbor as well!!

Chris was very professional and knowledgeable. He accessed the broken pipe from inside the house, cutting through the drywall under the kitchen sink to get to the broken pipe (he informed me before cutting through the drywall that I'd be responsible for repairing it, which I was fine with). He got to work and within about an hour had the pipe repaired and a new faucet on the spigot outside. I then showed him two more spigots in the laundry room that were also in need of replacement and he changed them out in no time. He then asked to check the hot water heater which was difficult to get to due to construction/remodeling going on in the house. It's an older low-boy ('97) which may need work in the future. If/when it does, I'll be sure to contact Grable and ask for Chris!

Asked them to replace three valves under kitchen sink, they charge for $359!!!will never choose them again.

it went well ,I would use them again gave us 1 year warranty on parts and labor on the job. I was just suprised that the home service was priced so high compared to some other home services i have had done. I am happy with the service. Eddy provided GREAT service he was a true professional.

They came out as stated and repaired the under slab week and filled in the concrete as part of the service..... Other plumbers would not replace the concrete.... I would recommend them, they went thru all the steps of the repair and cleaned the area when completed.... Their office even called to see if they met our expectations and how the job when.... great customer service....

We have used Grable often, and are always pleased with their service. On this last call, found water leaking into garage, and called them at about 2 pm. They told me that they could come out the same day, but it might be late. Window given was 4-7 pm. Also, the plumber would call me to update his arrival. Chris called at about 4:30, and told me he might not make it by the 7 pm time, which was alright with me, as long as he did get to us. He called back at 6:30, and said he should be here by 7 pm. He arrived just before 7, and found and fixed the problem by 7:15 pm. Chris has performed service for us before, and is always courteous and efficient. We are very pleased with all the service personnel that have come to our home from Grable. All are exceptional. We would and do recommend Grable to anyone who needs plumbing help.

Good. On time and resolved problem

They had been out several times for the same problem. We had a leaking/clogged toilet in the women's bathroom. They ended up trying to repair a pipe that runs under the building by adding a lead compound to seal an area or something like that. It did not work. We ended up needing them out again at a later day for a main clearance break and they basically told us no, they have more important job to do. We ened up getting another company that we still use today.

We were using another company that refused to help us in our emergency and Grable then stepped up to the plate. They came out that same day and repaired the pipe working very late to get it done. They are pricy, but do a very good job.

They are excellent. They are always on time and they provide excellent service.
