Description of Work: Cleaned out a mainline stoppage from my roof. John did an excellent job. Have a six month warranty on it which I think is great.

Description of Work: I had a pipe from my second floor bathroom come apart and start leaking into the rooms downstairs. It was Saturday around 5pm and someone was there by 8pm, which I appreciated because I had to shut the water supply off to the house to prevent it from raining in my house. Anyway, Paul identified the potential point of the leak by the wetness of the wall, cut into the wall and repaired the pipe. He did a great job and I was satisfied with the outcome.

Description of Work: I had a slab moisture in a room but they could not figure it out where it was coming from (it has stumbled quite a number of other people). However, since they were here, I got them to locate the sewer clean out ($162) as I may need it to figure out where the slab moisture is coming from, change a spigot ($97) and the main water line service valve ($245). Service charge was $69. The rates were reasonable and I have a 1 year parts/labor guarantee.

Description of Work: Chris snaked the upstairs tub drain, as we had a foul smell coming from the bathroom. He found that the drain was dry allowing the sewer odor smell to esacpe into the bathroom. He said the drain should be wet, preventing the smell from esacping into the bathroom. He was very curteous and explained what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost before he did anything. Signed up for their reward plan, and will definitaly use them again.

Description of Work: The technician was professional and above all else, honest. After carefully and thoroughly checking everything with my dishwasher he determined I needed an appliance repair person and not a plumber. Of course I then thought to myself, "Oh dear money down the drain on a service call". To my shock and pleasant surprise there was no charge for the service call. I find that amazing ...I have never not paid a service call fee even if no repairs were performed.

Description of Work: All of our showers and tubs started backing up last night while taking our nightly baths, toilets wouldn't flush, etc. A real mess. I called Grabel this morning and had a plumber here by 9:30. Everything was fixed within the hour and we're back to normal. I've used Grabel many times over the years (I actually found them on Angie's list), and can recommend them highly. We just needed to have the drains snaked.

Description of Work: Emailed garble plumbing about concern with tpr valve, received email back saying someone would contact me shortly. received phone call to setup appointment, received call tech was on the way, so far so good ! tech arrived after discussion he said he needed to make a call to ensure his taught of problem and after first quote and my decline tech goes into barter mode by the time tech departed price was down $100 from first quote! what ever happened to doing a job at a fare price? my taught for minute a was to let him do the job after the final price, but I'm going to call another plumber for a second look! consumer beware !

Description of Work: Typically I do not submit comments for companies that did not provide goods or services. In fact, I believe this is my first. The reason I decided to write a review is that I believe the prices quoted for my simple job were so unreasonable, that I wanted to let other consumers know. I ask for a quote to replace a kitchen sink faucet (faucet only), where I provided all the parts... a high quality Delta faucet. The existing faucet was a sub-par quality faucet I purchased from Costco three years ago, and had installed. So, the job Grable bid on was 100% labor. This job should take no longer than an hour. My kitchen sink set-up has no feature that makes is more difficult than any other sink. To confirm my estimate on the time to replace the faucet, I Googled "how long does it take to change a kitchen faucet", and the "experts" and average Joe's said anywhere from 15 mins to 1 hour. The bid I got from Grable was as follows: 1) Install customer kitchen faucet - $203.78 (reg price) $183.40 (my price) 2) "trunk" charge (travel charge???) $39.00 (reg price) $39.00 (my price) 3) install soap dispenser $130.70 (reg price) $117.70 (my price) - absolutely, positively ridiculous!!!! The technician ended up taking off the charge for item #3 completely, but I feel sorry for the senior citizens who likely pay this fantastically inflated price. In all, the Grable tech quoted a regular price of $373.48, which I am guessing is reserved for the extremely old or extremely rich. "My price" was originally going to be $340.10, until the tech slashed the price to $222.40 (by removing item #3 above). Keep in mind that this fee is for a maximum of 1 hour of labor only. Personally, I think this kind of pricing is a direct result of using a "pricing book" instead of actual time spent on your project. Make sure you turn off your main water supply. I would say on a scale of 1-10 it was about a 4.
