Description of Work: I requested a certain type of vinyl fence and he declined to give an estimate. Even though it would have been more expensive I would have probably given him the job as I liked his more durable fencing. He gave me no reason why he didn't want to give a new estimate for the different fence design.

Description of Work: They installed a fence for me in my deed restricted neighborhood, so they had to deal with my homeowners association. They were very prompt and easy to work with and the fence looks great. I would use them again for any project.

Description of Work: Installed remaining 2/3 of fencing along the backyard. Outstanding service, prices where drastically less than local competitors.

Description of Work: MY OPINION. DON'T USE THIS FENCE COMPANY. I was moving 1350 miles away to florida. I called a fence company "Florida state fence" who was recommended by my builder as someone they used before and who knew the area. I called and requested a 6 foot fence around my yard. I stated the fence had to be 6 foot and all the way around because there was a temporary construction fence up that would come down as the new homes were completed and I had a leaping dog that could jump a 4 foot fence. The builder rep estimated the fence at $3000 before a called any companies. The company sent an estimate for $2260 so I said yes immediately. I was in the middle of packing out the old house when I received the estimate. I saw the first paragraph said 6 fooT so I said yes. Please and I didn't call any other companies. While the fence was being installed, my realitor stopped by to install a dog door and immediately called me. The fence was hooking to the temporary construction fence and 4ft at the back. I immediately called the company to try and get it corrected. They said that the estimate had the 2 different sizes. That's not what I need. I looked and the top of the estimate again and it said 6ft. The bottom said 4 ft. I did not read the estimate the way the company meant me too. I asked for 6 ft and the first paragraph had 6 foot. I assumed i was getting a 6ft fence. Thought the bottom was a template issue caused by not deleting that paragraph off the prior estimate. Cause I never asked for 2 sizes and gave Derek my point of contact for questions. Everyone knew I needed a 6ft fence. I didn't look at over 30 homes just because I couldn't have a 6 foot fence. I even got HOA promission to install 6 ft before I'd buy the home. I called while the workers were there and got the salesman. The realitor spoke to the installers. They continued to do it incorrect. They said they would fix the next day. Then didn't. After many calls and texts. I got them back out 4 days later. The fence is too far down one side of my house. The fence is so high off the ground that my dogs can slide under without digging. And they sent another bill for an additional $1725. SO I HAVE A NEARLY $4000 piece of crappy i stalled fence that I am now trying to figure out how to fix to stop the dogs from sliding under it. When I tried to question the nearly doubling of the cost, I was ignored, told he was in a meeting or finally received a terribly, condescending email that completely blamed me, finally told me what he was billing for. I should have been told he planned to send another bill for almost the same as the first before he did the work and should have been told before he charged to take out the 4ft fence. He also used an excuse that I was his first fence in the area. A contradiction from the builder. MY opinion, What an expensive, crappy installed lesson. I have to pay for $3895 and it doesn't meet my needs. I so wish, I'd gone with anyone but Florida state fencing. |

Description of Work: I contacted Florida State Fence based on a referral from a couple neighbors. They came out right away and gave me an estimate (which was the lowest out of all estimates I received). | |I wasn't ready to have the fence installed for a couple months. So when I was ready and gave them a call, they were able to pull up my quote and set up a day for install. I made this call on Jan 21st, and my fence was completely installed on Jan 29th. | |It happened to be raining the day of install, but that did not deter them from showing up exactly when they said and getting my fence intalled. | |The fence looks amazing and would recommend them to anyone.
