Florida State Fence

Bad fence company!! Poor business practices! They installed a fence for our neighbors, their installers broke our irrigation/sprinkler system main line! They refuse to pay or reimburse for the damages! Their sales practices including their salesman, Scott, has poor customer service experience! He was rude and unprofessional! I DO NOT recommend this company or use their services!!

Took more time, but they got it done. Just have to follow up many times

FL State Fence recently constructed our fence. The sides were the traditional 6’. But as our property backed up to a small ranch, we opted to use 4’ fence to preserve the view. It not only allowed us to see the horses, cows, goats, and chickens, it allowed us to easily chat with our neighbor. The workers were fabulous! They installed the fence all in one day. They were personable and exacting in assuring that the fence was installed exactly where it should be. Everyone looks great! Alexa was the point of contact and she, too, was great. She was quick to respond initially and was available whenever I needed her to answer my questions. Would I recommend Florida State Fence? You bet! They were outstanding in every area!

Excellent, I called for a quote, I liked their quote, timeline from start to finish and the work was done in 1 day, it was excellent.

Fence was scratched in multiple areas. Also had jagged cuts on the panels where they connect with the posts. They came out TWICE to fix it and it still has scratches. Gate was cheaply made. If not for that I’d give five stars. It looks great from far away

Paid deposit and scheduled installation. Day 2 of the work, I saw that the area enclosed was much smaller than agreed. Texted the rep to come out and check. His response was that it was exactly as he had measured. I sent him pics showing where it was off. He told me I was lying about what we agreed to. Wouldn't even entertain the idea that a mistake might have been made. How is your first response to accuse a customer of lying (and he accused me three times)? Finally measured it myself and it was 25 feet short on the left side. Without skipping a beat or addressing the fact that he had spent the morning calling me a liar, he told me they didn't bring enough wood to cover the correct area and if I would just take it as is, he would knock a few bucks off the price. I told him I would like the fence to match what we agreed to and of course I would pay for the extra materials. It took another full day to rip out the posts from the wrong spots and then they rushed through re-posting the next day. They all tried to sneak out at the end and the sales guy was no where to be seen so I didn't even get to tell him that one of the gate locks doesn't fit properly and you have to struggle to get it closed. Now I'm looking to hire another company to fence in the rest of the property (5 acres) and also to fix the gate that doesn't work from Florida State Fence.

Getting the quote was the easy part. However, getting the fence installed was fraught with problems. The installers came the first time with the wrong fence height. We had to call the sales rep and remind him of the specifications. Second time, the fence was installed without any obvious problems. However, anytime a strong wind goes through our neighborhood, pieces of the fence goes flying. This fence is less than 6 months old.

Eric Roth completely explained the process and took a lot of time to answer all of my questions. Fence was installed with no issues and we are very happy with the result of our new fence. Highly recommend this company!

We added on to our vinyl fencing for our backyard. Recommend using the tan color vinyl fencing; looks amazing. Chris Bernhardt and their staff at the office were extremely professional and had great communication.

Great. I had comparative shopped and found them very reasonable. The saleslady was very personable and very helpful. And after Hurricane Ian the saleslady checked on the property, discovered it was damaged and helped get it fixed timely. I would definitely recommend Florida State Fence again.

The staff was amazing, efficient and polite from start to finish.

I am very disappointed because they put my gate so high that animals are coming through it in my yard, digging holes and scaring my children. Also the fence was installed a little too high in the corners, there is no way grass can grow and fill the visible gaps. As a single mom, I saved money for months to pay for this fence wall and gate but this was really disappointing. I am very unhappy. By the time I came home and saw it I am so upset. Also a gate is installed the other side of my house of the neighbors and it does not have any gaps. People install fences for privacy and safety.

Overall Florida State Fence did an awesome job. The guys showed up on time and were very knowledgeable about their craft. They asked us questions on how we wanted our gate swings to ensure we were happy with our end product. Lastly, they did a great job leveling the fence at the end making it a clean looking finish.

The fence was installed professionally and the install went much faster than I thought that it would--especially since it was a large amount of fencing of two different kinds, vinyl and aluminum. Three gates were also installed with the project. The end-product looks very nice. My wife and I are very pleased with the fencing we now have on the circumference of our acre of property and home. I would definitely recommend Florida State Fence to anyone looking to install fencing on their property. Angi was great in communicating with us and scheduling. The fence installers were excellent.
