This company took almost two months to installed my backyard fence. There were some mother nature situations, but every time I notify them of weather improvement, they did not took action in a timely manner. This was a very frustating situation.

Every step in the sales and fence installation process went exceptionally well. The order was written with great care, the installation team arrived on time, and they did a very careful job of removing our old fence and installing the new fence. The new fence looks excellent, and it really helps improve the appearance of our home.

Everything was fantastic! I made an appointment with Florida State fence and they arranged for a estimate two days later. Paul was punctual and showed me samples of both wood and vinyl products. He sent me my estimate the next day with quotes for each. Both quotes were significantly less than what I've been quoted in the past. I went under contract and Paul kept in contact the entire time giving me updates on when my install date would be. Two weeks later my day arrived! Other companies were 5+ weeks out. The crew arrived promply at 10am with all their supplies and had my old fence down in about 30 minutes! They built the entire fence on site; no pre-assembled cheap panels were used from this company. I went with 6' high board-on-board privacy fence built from pressure treated pine with one gate and 6" wide planks. These guys had were fast and efficient and had everything up in less than 5 hours. Paul himself even came out during install to see how the progress was going. Everything was level and straight he gate was reinforced with a metal frame to prevent sagging which my old fence of 21 years had been doing for some time. Denise at the office was an absolute pleasure to talk to and arrange payment. I wish other companies were this easy to deal with. Florida State fence was courteous and professional. I have been recommending them to all my friends and family. I will be coming back to them for all my fencing needs in the future.

The crew was extremely efficient. The entire process was orchestrated so that removal, cleanup and installation went very quickly. The fence was installed in one day. I would estimate that it was over 150 running feet of fence and two gates. The gates, by the way, are of extremely high quality and steel reinforced. An issue developed with one of the gates not closing perfectly and when I reached out to them it was fixed within 48 hours. This is an excellent company and the price was great too.

It went very well and the new fence looks great! We had a minor hiccup but Paul was very responsive and made everything right for us. Excellent quality and service and would not hesitate to hire Florida State Fence again if we ever need another fence.

Buddy was wonderful, he kept in touch throughout the whole process from estimate to installation. They were able to move the install date up. Workers completed the job in 1 day. Neighbors all remarked on how quick the job was completed and on the quality of the job.

From day one, it has been a great experience. the Sales Rep., Buddy made sure I was informed of the status on a regular basis. He and the company were easy to reach and highly responsive to any and all questions. The work was held up a tad bit due to the muddy conditions, (we have had more than our fair share of rain here). But in about 14 hours divided into two days, the job was done, trash picked up and the dogs got their first run in the area!! I am more than happy, my three dogs are happy, and starting tomorrow I will start letting one pen at a time of chickens free range for a short period of time just before they go to roost. I highly recommend Florida State Fence for your fencing needs. My fence they installed is a 6ft high chain link, with two drive through gates and one walk through gate. The crew was above and beyond professional in their work ethic. I really can't say enough positive about this company. I had already known ahead of time how much the materials would cost (over 500 linear feet of chain link, posts, concrete and necessary connectors) and about how much the labor would be. Florida State Fence stayed within the parameters I had already established in my budget.

I contacted Florida State Fence after a terrible experience with another fencing company on Angie's List. Buddy, (with Florida State Fence) contacted me promptly, arrived as promised within the time frame given, took measurements and made diagrams (all in the pouring rain) then said he would get back to me ASAP with the estimate. I am familiar with fencing and had a good idea of how much it would cost for materials, size of area to be fenced, and for labor. Buddy sent the estimate within 2 days and it was where I thought it would/should be for the work to be done. Buddy has been on top of keeping me informed, every step of the way, on the estimated work date, stating that only the weather could play a factor in delaying any installation (totally understandable, given our rainy season). I will update my review after installation has been completed. So far, no complaints, and nothing but compliments. As of this review, I would recommend them for residential fencing needs.

Their company is excellent! Their prices were very competitive with the other quotes we received. You can tell they are experts at what they do. They asked a lot of questions to re-verify everything, were very courteous, and fast. Most importantly, the fence looks terrific! There is a big difference compared with our previous fence, that was not done by a good company. We highly recommend Florida State Fence!

The salesperson was not familiar with closing permits in my town. I went to the town buildings department for the information on closing permits. I had to relay this information to press for an inspection to close the permit. In addition, some of the planks are separating from The posts. I do not feel comfortable calling for a repair. I am done with this company. They should have known better regarding the permit. I felt they didn’t care once the fence was installed. I would not recommend or use them ever again.

Florida State Fence (FSF) was great to work with on the project of replacing my old chain link fencing with a wooden fence. My initial contact was to schedule a site inspection so they could provide an accurate quote. This and all future communications with FSF were easy and we used a combination of phone and email to talk. I find email much easier to use so I'm always happy to see a business utilize that to communicate with clients. Not all of them do. The site inspection was helpful and Paul clearly described what work would be done. I found it interesting that they don't use the pre-assembled fencing that you often see at home improvement stores. Instead, they custom assemble the fence using boards customized to the project needs. Impressive. We scheduled the installation for a couple weeks out which I later needed to re-schedule because of personal travel. Rescheduling only took one phone call and FSF let me pick an install date shortly after I was back in town. Again, very easy to work with. The installation crew arrived on that scheduled date and we walked around the site once more to confirm the details. The crew leader was friendly and easy to talk with and he had all the details correct. They got to work and spent the rest of the day busily installing posts and pounding away. I thought there was no way they could complete a job this big in one day, but, much to my surprise and pleasure, they wrapped it up by the early evening and I had a great new fence. The quality is excellent: everything is straight and solid and the fence gates open smoothly and have a solid feel. I highly recommend Florida State Fence and will use them in the future.
