Bob gave us an estimate, obtained the permits and completed the job in a timely manner. The job was first rate and they arrived and finished on time. We are very please with the service.

Bob Custer of Fleet Concrete provided a very professional approach to the project. His permitting, insurance, traffic control, scheduling, on-site coordination, ready access to support professionals (such as arborist, and irrigation) and trouble-shooting as necessary, assured on-time performance and a very high-quality result. "Eddie" was a magician in removing the damaged concrete slabs and underlying tree roots with his Bobcat. Leon and his crew of Renaldo, Ronnie, Ernest and Dennis did an outstanding job of forming, pouring and finishing the new drive and walkway base, including well placed control joints. The walkway was finished with a brick overlay accomplished by "Antonio" who did a fine job also. The workers provided by Bob Custer were a pleasure to have on site. They seemed to enjoy their work and working together. They were very polite and respectful, created no unnecessary noise (no radios or shouting) and obviously took pride in doing an excellent job.

I had no problems. They came right on time. They got right to work and were friendly. They finished the driveway in one day and it looks great.

Bob was very responsive and answered any and every question I had throughout the process. He was very understanding in working with our work schedules. I would definitely hire again for concrete projects.

We received an estimate from Fleet that was extremely high. 3x the competition. We went a different direction for the work.

Bob was very professional and prompt to access our needs. But due to a death in the family we canceled. Bob kindly offered to return the deposit even though we were a week away from starting.

I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of this project. The concrete patio 25" X 18" with an adjoining 6" X 9" pad (not enclosed) looks fantastic! Straight cut lines and no blemishes. Many comments on how well the concrete and enclosed patio look. Work crews were extremely friendly and would accommodate my many questions. Just under 3 months from start to finish, but 5 weeks of this time was with the city permit office and 2 weeks for hurricane Irma. I do think the cost was on the higher side, but the end result and high quality of work make me glad I chose Fleet Concrete.

Fleet did an excellent job. They were prompt, professional, and thoroughly cleaned up after the job, putting everything back in place. Our driveway, sidewalk and patio look awesome!

We were pleased at how nice the front porch, sidewalk and driveway extension looks. It is beautifully done. Also, the workers were so pleasant, good-natured and hard working! They not only did a beautiful, professional job, but they cleaned up any mess that was made from the removal of the old porch and drain. I would highly recommend this company.

We never got to the point where they came out to the house. We had to cancel the appointment. She spent a lot of time with me on the phone. It just wasn't needed anymore. We went a different direction.

I called to make an appointment for an estimate on repairing my driveway. When the electric company was trimming trees they broke it. I was told I would have to give them a deposit for them to come out and give me an estimate. I thought that was really odd and said I would think about it. I called them back to give them the deposit using a credit card and was told they don't take credit cards. At all. So I decided to call around. This is all post-hurricane and they must have business coming out of their ears to be able to afford to treat potential customers this way.

Everything came up good according to Bob said. He was very professional and we are really happy with his work done in my house. I personally will recommend him with anybody.

Although cheaper, I had a terrible feeling about the first company I contacted -- no written estimate, would only accept cash and the owner wasn't responsive. I called two more concrete businesses, and Fleet had the work done by the time the other returned my call for an estimate. Not only did they have the work done, they so nicely incorporated this walkway into my mother's yard. The crew was professional and engaging, and cleaned up beyond our expectations -- even laying sod where the lawn had been disturbed by the work. We couldn't has asked for a better experience or finished product.

The crew showed up promptly each day at 7:30 a.m. The guys worked like a well-oiled machine. Bob was there as work began. He's easy to talk to and very fair.

Bob was very responsive and professional. He came when he said he would for the estimate (which was slightly less than competitors), he followed up with phone calls and was reachable when I had questions. The day I met him, he was already meeting with the city, but brought photos and property info about our house to ask about some options. They handled the permit and had the city arborist come to access what could be done. On a side note, the arborist was helpful but the city worker who came to dig out the roots did not know what to do and ended leaving lots of roots for Fleet to have to remove. The crew arrived on time everyday and got to work. They were friendly and courteous and worked hard in the heat. Bob also recommended an irrigation company who was able to come access the current pipes and add another. On my own, I would never have been able to find someone on such short notice before they poured the concrete. He also suggested a different design for our porch step since the one that was there was less than appealing. They poured the concrete for it, and now we're working on getting someone to pave it. The whole project took 3 1/2 days and looks great. We're happy to have a solid driveway that provides drainage with the rain.

They told me they were going to do one thing were they would attach the two drives with re-barb. I talked to their men about it and they asked if I had a drill. When I said no they called the boss and they decided to just put more cement under the old dry way and go that way.

This was the most unusual and bizarre interaction I have ever had with a contractor. Bob, himself, came out to do the estimate and promised to email a written report. Instead, I had to follow up, as I never received a written estimate. I did manage to get Bob on the phone, and he gave me an oral estimate for $8000. I asked Bob to send it to me in writing, and to break down the costs so that I could understand what he was charging for particularly since Bob's cost was almost twice any estimate from other contractors that I had received. Bob spent some time justifying his estimate and asking a lot of questions about the other estimates I had gotten. He ultimately agreed to email his own estimate, but it never arrived. Once again, I had to "chase this company up". I received a call back from "Rose", who then told me that, in order to proceed with Fleet's estimate in writing, they would need to see a copy of exactly what the other contractors had provided me. I found this bizarre and very offensive, and perceived it to be an underhanded way of winning the bid by belittling and criticizing other companies while touting their own horn. I was quite amazed at the unprofessional and audacious behavior exhibited by both Bob and Rose. I would not in any way engage this company or trust them. They could not keep their word even to provide a written estimate, which they had promised to do.

My driveway was cracked from what appeared to be a tree root. Fleet replaced the driveway, removed the root that created the problem, replaced the irrigation pipe running under the driveway that was being squeezed by the root. Very pleased with the service they provided. My neighbor, who's having a similar problem with his driveway, was impressed enough to request contact info. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs concrete services.

We are very pleased with the outcome.

I called him and he came out and I told him what needed to be done. This was last summer and I have not heard from him and evidently he did not wan.
