Fleet Concrete did an excellent job on an oversized driveway. Employees were professional, courteous, knowledgeable. They performed like it was a piece of art, meticulously. Bonus, they cleaned everything up! You don’t find that often. Very pleased.

We were looking to upgrade our 2 car asphalt driveway to a circular driveway. We had 2 previous quotes from other contractors prior to calling Fleet Concrete. Within 10 minutes of talking with Bob at Fleet Concrete we knew that they would be reliable and complete the job we were looking for. Bob immediately put our vision to life spray painting our driveway onto the lawn and from there it took life. He supported us in helping to find irrigation companies to make adjustments prior to installation. The day of demolition was amazing, his crew was energetic, professional and prepared to ensure the driveway was installed exactly as we envisioned. Construction was quick and follow up was done daily by Bob overseeing the project. We could not be happier with the quality of work and professionalism of all employees with Fleet Concrete. I will certainly utilize them for any future work.

I hired Fleet Concrete to replace my old driveway, based on their outstanding reviews and the positive experience I had when meeting with Bob, the company’s owner and founder. In every way, Fleet Concrete exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the new driveway they installed looks fantastic, is built to last, and was installed with great care and precision. The company’s highly experienced, well-coordinated, and efficient installation crew worked diligently at every step of the process and paid attention to details. They consistently noticed any imperfections that arose before, during, and after pouring the concrete and corrected them quickly before the concrete hardened. Their attention to detail was truly outstanding. I was also very thankful for the way the crew took care to not damage the overhanging tree branches I was keeping for shade, and the way they walked carefully amid the surrounding foliage. They did their absolute best to preserve the landscaping, without any complaints, even though it made their jobs more challenging. Finally, Bob the owner is extremely personable, and always patient. He takes the time to answer every question and concern, and does so in a calm, empathetic way that puts the homeowner at ease. He also responds quickly to every communication. On the day the concrete was poured, Bob was there in person to supervise and provide guidance to make sure the results were outstanding in every way. My experience with Fleet Concrete was truly one of the best home improvement contractor experiences I have ever had, and I would hire them again for any future concrete projects.

Excellent from start to finish , made contact with Rose in office , explained my request and asked pertinent questions, she then set up appointment for Bob to visit our house , explain process , and provide quote. Quote met our budget (included local permit fees) and timeline set (approximately 4 weeks from signing papers).Installation went great with Bob there at beginning and the crew of 5 men ( Leon was crew leader) ; they arrived by 8AM ; took care of our property and actually enjoyed their work and interaction,End result is a great product ! Highly recommend Fleet Concrete , they are a old school customer friendly company .

The crew was great they were on time . They got the work done . The first day they took out the old driveway . The second day the inspector came . Then third day the crew was back on time and got the job done . The guys were really good worker they did not fool around they made sure it was to my pleasing before they left . They came by and check to see if everything was done and if we were pleased . Then I received a call from Robert also made sure it was to my liking . They were GREAT . Told two friends of mines to call them.

It didn't! I had called a gentlemen named Robert Custer to ask a question about the driveway project. He was polite, answered my questions, and as part of that a discussion about repairing a sidewalk section that the county had repaired with asphalt came up. He said that they'd just fix that no charge. I asked him to go ahead with the work and he asked me to complete their proposal with the options and to "add the repair to the sidewalk section on that document" and sign it. I executed the agreement with them as instructed by Robert and e-mailed it to them. More than 48 hours later I got an e-mail from a Pam Black. It pointed out that they didn't take credit cards, which I had not noted when I read through it. I was fine with paying by check, but asked for an invoice of the deposit so I could be certain that there was agreement that, for the options I had selected, the deposit was $2000.00. I replied via e-mail. A few hours later they declined my project. I asked my property manager to contact them to see if he could straighten out whatever issues there were. He called and the phone conversation that he described to me was so rude as to not be believed if I hadn't worked with him for more than a decade. Bob came on time to talk about the work. He explained that, while they would do the wok I requested of them, the work would not solve the drainage problem. He suggested an alternate approach, not involving them, and I am pursuing that approach now.

Awesome. Mr. Custer is professional, courteous, and prompt, despite his busy schedule. This is the 2nd screened in porch he builds for us and now we're in the process if contacting him for a driveway. No job is too small for him. I gladly recommend him for most general contracting needs.

This was so professionally done, Prepared and formed in one day. 7 1/2 truck loads of concrete and finished in one day with 9 men. Excellent finish and they did perfect cut lines the following day. I would recommend This company to anyone. Office staff Is very professional and returns calls immediately .Price was reasonable for what was done .can’t say enough about this company Thank You Very Much Paul Noto

Bob came out and measured the area and never followed up with the quote. I called 3 weeks after the initial appointment to inquire on the status of the quote and was told by the woman that answers the phone that she would check on it and get back to me. I never heard anything further. This seems to be typical these days. Very disappointing to have your time wasted like this.

They were wonderful. They were upfront they did what they said they would do and they were easy to work with.

WE RECOMMEMDED FLEET CONCRETE ABOU 18 YEARS AGO AFTER WORK WAS DONE FOR OUR HOME IN TAMPA, FL, , LATER ST. PETERSBURG, FL AND THIS WEEK IN CLEARWATER, FL. THEIR WORK VERY HARD AND WONDERFUL TO DEAL WITH. BOB AND ROSE ARE WONDERFUL, GODD AND HONEST PEOPLE. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE.

It did not go at all. No response from the company. Either this job too small or they only work for commercial business etc. Or, maybe it's because of the virus. I still want and need this work done.

Bob was excellent to work with and very professional. He was great at keeping us up to date on progress with the permits. Leon and his crew were also professional, prompt, paid attention to detail and left our property as clean as when they started. I would definitely hire Fleet again, and recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work.

I had Bob come out and give me an estimate. He ended up seeing a better solution for me than using their services. He said that my problem could be fixed easier and cheaper than what he could offer and gave me instructions on what to do. Thank you for saving me time and money Bob!!

Project went very well! No complaints whatsoever. Being that we use Angie's List for our own business we understand the quality of the company based on the reviews of its customers, and we were not disappointed. Bob was a pleasure to work with and has a great team. Work was very clean and efficient. Look forward to future business with Fleet for sure.

Very professional, high quality concrete pour. Owner very accessible and helpful. Guys really knew their craft on this job. Clean up was thorough.

They were GREAT. First price was very competitive. Crew showed up right on time. Did the prep, pumpers showed up and then concrete - ALL of which they scheduled. They took about 45 minutes to pump, fill and level the area - 16x24. Very careful of property. I have a BUNCH of additional remodeling and they are my people for all of the concrete and block work

The entire team was extremely professional throughout the project, starting with my initial phone call to schedule a time for an estimate. Bob provided the original quote, managed the project from start to finish, and was always available by phone or text to answers questions. The installation team was great, and it is my understanding that most of them are career employees with Fleet Concrete. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work, and pay attention to the details. The quoted price for the project was very reasonable, and was less than quotes we received from general contractors.

These guys are first rate. Everything went on schedule and it was a very difficult job due to the oak trees in the yard. The crew was efficient and kept everything as neat as possible. Their foreman is a master with the expansion joint cuts, too. Bob, the owner, is a real pro and does what he says he’s going to do. The best.

Excellent; accurate bid; excellent workers and excellent work - all my neighbors are very complimentary -it makes my house look new!
