I decided to have either a patio/sunroom added approximately six months ago and entrusted a contractor who had screened in my front lanai several years ago. My contractor advised me I did not need a permit to add to my existing slab or one for the patio. After I questioned him several times, he told me the same thing that I did not need one. He hired his friend to pour the slab. After two weeks, just before the start date of my project, my contractor informed me that he hurt himself and could not build my sunroom or patio. He suggested I use another friend of his instead. In the meantime, I noticed dark wet spots had formed on my newly poured slab. I called the contractor back whom did not respond. I decided to go on Angie's List for contractors. I found Fleet Concrete Inc. I spoke to an angel named Rose who comforted me and told me that everything was going to be okay, Bob would take care of it. Bob was the only contractor that came to my rescue after I called several contractors on Angie's List. Not only did he come to my rescue, everything he said he would do he did just that. Bob went over every detail. What had happened was, my old contractor did not cap my sprinkler head and water was coming underneath the concrete. Bob saved me money and got his crew to do it instead. Not only that, Bob told me to contact another Angie's List company, America Irrigation, who came and said it was the best job they had ever seen done. Bob had to pull up a permit for the slab/patio. He advised me that the old contractor had done the worst job he had ever seen (I did contact my old contractor and he gave me my money back). I was left with a beautiful ten by twenty five patio. Windows will be added at a future date. Slab is beautifully paved a coffee color with a caramel border. Pictures will be added to my review soon. When I think about it I am just in tears because no one wanted to to work on it but Bob. Always check with Angie's List so that what happened to me won't happen to you. Bob and Rose, thank you. You are a godsend to Angie's List, to myself and to other Angie's List members.

Great person to do business with. Called one day, talked to scretary. She said I could email photos and they could give an estimate from the photos. About three hours after sending email received a call with estimate. Okayed it and they were here the next day to do the job. Workers were pleasant, hardworking and did an excellent job. Job cost $100 more than estimate, but that was because a little more material was needed than estimated for. We are very satisfied with the work and the promptness. The owner called afterward job was finished to make sure we were satisfied with the job.

The president of fleet concrete came to my house on the scheduled appointment date for my estimate and he showed up at the time he promised. Drew out the diagram of the driveway, gave me excellent ideas on the shape and size. Everything went as scheduled, his whole crew , Billy and Hyram were very professional and kind. They were very accommodating when I of course threw in a few changes in my plan with what I wanted. I am very pleased. They handled everything, the permits, everything! Even gave me the tools to wright my name in the concrete. ;).I would highly recommend this company.

I met with Bob several months earlier to discuss this project. My front walk was starting to lift and there were several cracks present, creating a safety hazard. He offered different alternatives, and I decided to go basically with replacement in kind due to the restrictions of my homeowner's association. However, I did go with minor modifications for rounding off a corner and flaring the walk to meet with my front porch. Due to having to wait approval from my HOA and having other priorities to deal with first, I finally did schedule the work for a Friday. On that date, Bob's crew consisting of Hiram and Billy showed up promptly and we reviewed the work to be done. They removed the old concrete with minimal noise, removed some amazingly overgrown tree roots, and then poured the new concrete down to our specifications. In order to round off one of the corners, Hiram moved an irrigation nozzle. I couldn't test the relocated nozzle that day due to the weather sensor preventing water flow, but I verified a few days later that it worked fine. When complete, Hiram and Billy brushed down and cleaned off the area thoroughly. They were both true professionals.

I contacted Bob on the 10th of December, 2012 for an estimate on adding an addition to our concrete driveway. My husband and I were sick and tired of playing the musical cars game in order for one of us to be able to leave... Bob stopped over on the 12th of December for the estimate. He was extremely professional, very friendly and easy to visit with about exactly what we wanted. He wrote up the estimate that day and left it with us for us to consider. We were busy with work, traveling, and various holiday events and so we did not get back with Bob until right after Christmas time when we told him that we would like to proceed with the job. We did feel that the price of the 2 additions was higher than what we had expected and planned for but we knew that Bob and his company would do a tremendous job based on the reviews on Angie's List and also how much we enjoyed meeting with him when he provided the estimate. Bob told us he would do all of the necessary permit and approval from the county for us which he did and he brought us a Notice Of Commencement to be notarized as well. Once we did that he came back to the house and picked it up. He also explained how he would coordinate with our irrigation company in order for them to be able to cap off and/or move the current sprinkler heads in order for us to try and save money. This impressed me VERY much that he would take the time to do this and I certainly appreciated it! The guys came out on the 10th of January to being the excavating and removal of the sod. I visited with them and they were all very pleasant and informative as well. I explained to them that we have an invisible pet fence wire that we really didn't want cut if at all possible since we always get charged around $125 if they have to come out to fix it. Well, they did cut it (it's a very small wire) BUT luckily they were able to fix it right then and there so we didn't have to call the company. Whew, thanks guys!! :) The next day they arrived to pour the new concrete and it was very exciting as I knew the process was almost over. Everything went great, and we were able to drive on our new additions a week later. We can't thank you enough, Bob, for everything that you have done! The driveway looks great, the whole process from our first contact to when it was all finished was perfect. You went above and beyond our expectations and we will certainly recommend you to our friends and family! In fact, one of our neighbors in the community where we live was taking a walk and stopped by my house to ask about the driveway. They did an excellent job. The staff was always professional and they knew what they were doing. I am the primary care giver to my 91 year old mother and had these changes made to allow easy wheel chair access to a house built in the 1950's. The site prep and forms were done in half a day, The inspector came to approve the site the next morning and they had the concreate poured and the area cleaned up in the afternoon of the second day. I would hire them again without a second thought.

The job was completed in two days, one to remove the old cement and place the forms, the next to pour and finish. The quality of the finished work and the joviality of the workers during the two days of their hard work far exceeded my expectations. They suggested additional shapes for the side parking area and additional curves for the walkway to the porch that further enhanced the eye appeal beyond what I had envisioned. Earth removed for the job was either taken away or spread around the grounds for future landscaping. The job was done on time, on quote an with no last minute additional cost bump. Well done Fleet Concrete.

Bob came out and gave us a great estimate and we were very excited to get the ball rolling. As soon as permits were pulled and papers signed the team started working. They were all very hard workers and very polite. They did an amazing job and now all my neighbors are envious of my beautiful driveway!

The folks at this company were a pleasure to work with - from the concrete removal through the travertine paver installation. Their professionalism, courtesy, and quality were quite impressive and I highly recommend them!!

We live on our porch, but it is 20 years old. Back in the 80's river rock was quite popular, it is also impossible to clean and the rocks constantly shed and break the pool vacuum. It was time for a change, so of course we hit Angie's List for a recommendation. Fleet Concrete was highly recommended and we were very pleased with our phone conversations and were very happy when we met him at the initial estimate meeting. To say they were wonderful is an understatement. They were incredibly prompt, all deadlines were met throughout the entire project. They corresponded with the pool repair company (Bill's Pool repair) to coordinate a time schedule with their needs, as well. Everything sailed smoothly all the way through with both companies. No trash was ever left behind, not a single piece, on a single day. They communicated well through every stage, we were never left hanging unknown. We would most definitely use again, and highly recommend.

The paver driveway in our new home was a do it yourself eyesore. It was falling apart and we knew as soon as we moved in it would be the first thing to go. We started to shop around for prices. The first company we called didn't even bother to show up for the appointment and never returned our call. The second company we tried was Fleet. Bob was very professional, knowledgeable and it was clear to us from the beginning that they would get the job done right so we didn't hesitate to hire them on the spot. Work began on a Monday and by Thursday we had a beautiful driveway, camper pad and walkway. We were left very impressed with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the workers and the efficient way everything was handled including a few requests that weren't in the contract. We would not hesitate to hire this company again in the future.

I'm a consumer that knows exactly what I want and communicate such to the contractor (i.e. fiber mixed in the concrete, pad dimensions & thickness, distance from home to eliminate equipment vibration, pitch for water drainage, and wrap my adjacent condenser so it is not splashed with wet concrete. I'm also present during the work. The owner, Bob Custer, was prompt and responsive in communicating with me. The workers, Hyrum & Billy arrived on time and I liked them. They had a good attitude regarding the particulars of my job specs, which were above average. Their work product was very good. The only thing that did not go as expected was that the bags of concrete did not come with fiber. Hyrum was not aware of this job detail, so he drove back to the shop with a good attitude to get the fiber. Even with this oversight, because of Hyrum and Billy's good attitude and work product, I gave them an A rating.

Bob came out to the house the day I called. He looked at the area my husband and I wanted the concrete removed from the backyard which included a walkway along the garage. In addition, we informed him that we were going to remove the small wood deck which was next to the concrete. He told us that he would also be able to remove the wood deck along with the concrete. His price was reasonable for the amount of concrete to be removed and the removal of the wood deck. He scheduled the removal to occur two days later. He and his crew arrived on the scheduled day. The concrete and wood deck were removed efficiently and cuts made in the concrete around the foundation were perfect. They cleaned and smoothed out the area where the concrete and deck had been removed and removed all the debris. Bob and his crew responded quickly to any request, were very kind, and extremely polite and professional throughout the process. This was phase one of our landscaping project and we will have more concrete to remove in the next phase. We will be contacting Bob at Fleet Concrete again. We would highly recommend Fleet Concrete!

My driveway was previously part asphalt and part concerete. The asphalt portion had deteriorated, and I had it replaced with concerete. I was quite happy with the service I received, and the new driveway looks really good.

They were very responsive, worked with us throughout the process from design to installation. This project required a lot of grading, additional fill dirt and installation of a large patio. The driveway also required a lot of grading and installation of asphalt milling driveway with a 2 car parking pad. They were very professional and responsive to all of our questions and concerns. the work was done very quickly and professionally. We are very pleased with the work performed

I called Fleet Concrete and set up an appointment to meet with Bob Custer on May 9, 2012. Bob was full of ideas on how to change the look of the driveway to give us more curb appeal. He was able to show us his previous work on the computer so we could visualize what he was suggesting to us. Because of the large amount of rain storms we were having the install was delayed for a couple of weeks. When it started his team came out and removed the old driveway quickly. The concrete and walkways were poured and then covered up because we saw the rain clouds coming in. Bob did not show up until they started pouring concrete but supervised and made changes where he and I agreed needed to be change. I have received numerous compliments and comments on well the team worked together and how they did a great job with cleanup. I would highly recommend Bob and his team at Fleet concrete for any concrete issues you may be having. Bob is full of ideas and is a pleasure to work with.

Crew was amazingly fast, and talented. Had old concrete out, forms made, soil compacted and concrete poured by lunch! afternoon spent on perfecting finish. Came back three days later to replace wood in expansion joints. Again, attention to detail. Great job!

It went very well. I was very satisfied. Bob did alot of work for the price he quoted. He was very nice, prompt and professional. I would highly recommend him.

He was very personable. This was a new project for him but he uses subcontractors and they were all pretty competent. The only issues I had was that it ran way too long. It wasn't all his fault though because we had to order a lot of things from other vendors. It ran over budget and over time. The quality of the product is excellent and he is a very easy to work with.

Bob's crew were so polite and considerate and did the job in one day. It turned out great! My porch and patio look great. They cleaned up after they were done. I was impressed with their hard work and knowledge of what they were doing. My porch is beautiful and so is my patio. It made a big difference in the appearance of the house. Bob came over after his crew had left and went over everything that they did to make sure I was satisfied. I'd definitely call him again.
