I was pleased with the response, and professionalism. If I use them, I will follow-up with my review of their work.

Bob's crew was great, timely and nice. I had a sinkhole and my driveway had cracks all over it. Bob mentioned that I didn't have the proper stress cuts from the original builder, and removed everything, poured a new driveway and sidewalk AND added the proper cuts to allow the concrete toe flex and not crack again. It's only a week old at this point, but it looks great, and much better than my original. Would definitely use him again for sure.

Bob's crew saw-cut and removed all of the old cracked concrete in my garage floor, driveway, and front walkway. They placed forms and prepped the surface for the new concrete, and poured and finished the new concrete the next day. When I asked about also replacing a couple of sections of cracked sidewalk, Bob added that in for no extra charge. His crew did a fine job of finishing and cleaning up afterwards. Since then I've received several compliments from the neighbors on the workmanship.

From drawing up the plans to pouring the foundation the process went smoothly. The screening and roofing was subcontracted but was unfortunately delayed for awhile by heavy rain throughout the month of September. Once work was able to resume things finished up quickly and I am very pleased with the work.

Everything was above and beyond our expectations. They had no problem with our last minute change, they just rolled with the flow. Their attention to detail was awesome. Everyone worked constantly, no standing around, nothing. Great crew, very patient, very attentive. Again, Billy and Zeon really went above and beyond and you could tell the boss appreciated them. They all really seemed to enjoy their job and working for the company. Great response, quick estimate, fast appointment, and on time. We are all very impressed, if we need any more done, it will be Fleet we call. The little extras meant a lot, Thank you so much, guys!

Everything turned out great. They were flexible with my requests and changes required by the city. Work happened quickly once the permit cleared.

Since we were newbies to every having anything done like this, Rose did a wonderful job at explaining everything that would be happening from the very beginning. She also helped clarify what would need to be done if our oak tree roots were a major issue. We were very fortunate that her and Bob were very familiar with our neighborhood since they actually live close by. We were scheduled for an estimate with Bob on Thursday but they needed to reschedule so he came a few days earlier. Bob was very specific in what they would be doing and wrote everything down on the estimate that was to take place. The following week we set up a date for the work to begin. I think we were by far the most neurotic Angie's List customers that Rose and Bob have ever dealt with. The workmen came out with their equipment and ripped out all the old cement and framed for the new pour. Bob was at the site for the framing. We were fortunate that we did not need an arborist, which Bob had taken care of, because his workmen were able to remove what roots needed to be taken care of. Originally we had scheduled for the pour to be done the next day because we did not know what kind of roots we would emcounter. Bob asked if we would like to get everything taken care of that same day. Luckily the cement was not available which gave us time to fix an irrigation line that had been cut. The next day the workmen arrived bright and early to prep for the cement to arrive - which came a few minutes early. As always, Rose did a wonderful job at calming nerves through various phone calls. Bob came our before the truck arrived and also helped calm the nerves. The cement pour went off without an issue and thankfully there was no rain that day or the next. I do think we gave Bob a chuckle when he drove pass the house the next day because we had it looking like a crime scene so no one would walk on the cement. The work they did looks absolutely beautiful. A few days later we did get a heavy downpour and not one puddle in our foyer or on the walkway. Thank you Bob and Rose for doing such a great job and helping the newbies with their first major construction project.

Project: We finally decided to put in an extension on our driveway to get more parking space, some extra room for my son to practice off-ice hockey with his bodies and a spot to put in a PVC 1 car prefab shed/garage. Overall square footage of the job was about 1133sq.ft. Soliciting Bids: We solicited 2 bids and decided to hire Fleet Concrete for the following reasons?. I contacted Bob Custer (President) from Fleet Concrete Inc. Bob was very responsive, came out as we scheduled, scoped the job, provided a very competitive estimate on the spot and confirmed he will be overseeing the project. Just the fact that the president of the business and not just a subcontractor, came out to meet with us, assured us he will be the single point of contact overseeing the project, made us feel at ease. But also knowing that Fleet had a perfect A+ from many other satisfied customers and the fact that their price was just as competitive as the second bidder, made us feel that we were making the right choice. Project Work: Even though Fleet?s crew was going to start in about 2 weeks, some last minute changes in their schedule of other jobs, enabled them to start a week earlier. Aside from being rained out for most of the first day, the crew was able to complete the whole project, including expansion control cuts, in 2 days. All the guys on-site were very professional, cordial, explained all of my questions as work progressed and left the job site clean. Special Impressions: What really impressed me about the Fleet?s crew before the concrete pour started, was the extra time, care and effort they put in into leveling my concrete A/C pad, which was originally not very leveled when it was installed by the A/C contractor 3 years back. They did this at no extra cost and 2 guys must have spent close to 2 hours on it. Summary: The overall job came out perfect. I highly recommend using Fleet Concrete Inc., for you next concrete driveway project.

They were professional and arrived in a timely matter. Bob, the sales rep was with us throughout the process. He explained everything and all the necessary paperwork completed before the work began. He provided a rendering of how the pavers were to be installed. The workers cleaned up all the debris and left everything neat and clean. We will use this company again for any concrete work that needs to be done.

Bob came out and gave me the estimates. He looked at the survey of the property to male sure all the borders of the slabs were on our property and not to close to the property lines. He made great suggestions for the ramp & how to put them on a very mild slope to avoid water standing. The day he said they would be there to prep the ground, they came at exactly the time they said. He had me stay out there long enough to make sure he put them exactly where we wanted them. Leveled the very uneven ground in the back, and continued to work through the pouring rain. The following day they completed the prep work and poured the cement the next day. Cleaning everything up. He came back several days later to inspect the work and make sure we were happy with the results. Very nice, respectable crew of workers. I would not hesitate to use them again!!

Representative was extremely rude and very demeaning. I had to explain what type if service I was looking for multiple times but instead of listening the representative repeatedly cut me off in mid-sentence. The representative also seemed determined to tell me I was wrong for thinking my small project shouldn't be extremely expensive. This was important considering we never discussed an actual price. After 30 minutes of being treated with disrespect, I decided it was a futile effort and ended the interrogation. The actual service may or may not be stellar but if the first impression is like this I have no intention of giving someone my money.

We decided not to do so. The bid was good. The guy seems to be thorough and very good. My wife didn't want to spend money that it was going to cost to put the concrete in. It wasn't a repair job, it was an add-on thing. It wasn't anything he did. It was just a matter of she didn't feel like financially it was a great choice but I was impressed with the guy on the way he laid things out and stuff like that. If he had done the work, I am sure he has gotten 5 stars or 3 thumbs up or whatever you guys rate. He gave me a quote. I thought the price was very fair for all the work he was going to do. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of his bid and what he wanted to do. He was very friendly. He was extremely thorough and listed out the work and everything that he was going to do. He even walked me through it. It was one of the more thorough bids that I have seen from contractors. It was one of the top ten thorough bids I have got as far as thoroughness. Even though I didn't use them, I would highly recommend them to people.

A lady called and was very rude. She wasted my time by asking many questions and treated me as if I am stupid. I own a $2m home and have done numerous renovations and designed and built my previous homes. She spent her time trying to figure how to disqualify me. I have never experinced this before. I am surprised Angie list has them with service award. I wonder how this happens and are all award winners a suspect?

Bob and his crew were great. They were professional and courteous. Answered all my questions and returned phone calls promptly. Bob made great expert recommendations that made my driveway look even better than it was before. I appreciated the crew 's hard work on a very hot, humid day. I'd definitely recommend hiring Fleet Concrete to my neighbors and friends.

The job went very well. When I called Fleet Concrete for an appointment, Bob came right over and was very professional and helpful providing me with ideas and alternatives along with the pros and cons of each idea for the work I needed done. Bob worked with my wife and I all through the process explaining each stage of the project and what would be involved. The crew that completed the work were great, they were friendly and courteous, they respected my property and made every effort possible to make sure there was as little impact on us while the work was being done. Each time I called the office to speak with Bob, his wife would answer the phone and she was just as pleasant to work with as Bob and his crew were. My wife and I are highly pleased with both the work that was performed and the way all of the Fleet Concrete employees dealt with us. When the work was completed, the crew completely cleaned up all materials and mess from the job. By the time they were done with the project, my wife and I felt like we were family instead of just another customer. I have other concrete work to be done in the future and Fleet Concrete is first on my list to call. I would highly recommend that you give Bob a call for any projects you may have that involve concrete, you will not be disappointed.

The crew did an amazing job. All the work was completed in 2-days and looks great! Professional and efficient. We have already received a quote for additional concrete work to the interior of our home and will continue to use Fleet as we complete home renovations.

Wow, what a great job. From my first contact with Rose to meeting Bob and his crew. They were polite and professional. Cleaned up after themselves leaving the my yard as it was. They took extra care of my grass and avoided my septic. Weather was an issue but Bob kept in constant contact with me allowing me enough notice to safe guard and care for my puppy. A great job. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks to all of you.

I scheduled the start date well in advance. They were still able to start one day from the requested date, even though there were many days of rain that had set them back in their schedule. They removed all concrete from the old driveway, and installed the forms for the new driveway on the first day. Two days later they showed up early with the concrete and completed the driveway within about 4 hours. The following day (a Saturday), they cut the concrete and removed the forms. The driveway looks wonderful. They did a great job.

great service - very professional

A little slow getting started after Bob came out and evaluated the project and submitted estimates. Once the project started it went very quickly. Crew cut the old concrete out and used a "Bobcat" to move the larger sections of concrete. Once the old deck was removed they did a great job compacting the earth to hopefully resolve the previous settlement issues. They added re-bar to strengthen the deck, poured much larger footings and tied it all into the existing pool deck. All and all a pretty good job. I would like to comment on a few issues. 1. I'm Realtor, so I was in and out the day they came to remove the old concrete and it was raining off and on during the project. I would have asked the crew to lay plywood or something across the lawn as they drove the Bobcat back and forth across the side lawn. Now it has to be replaced. 2. Would like to have Bob or crew foreman come out at the conclusion of the job and check things out. Two sprinkler heads were buried as a result of the fill being moved. Would like to had his crew digging around trying to find them and putting them back in place. Other than these two minor issues, Bob and Fleet Concrete did a great job and I would use them again or recommend them to my clients.

The were professional, they called to confirm when they'd be there. Because the weather was overcast in the morning they called that day to let me know they'd be there a little later than they had originally told me. The work was completed in a day, someone came by to check on it the next day and took care of a divot left by the concrete truck, which I really appreciated.

In the process, they backed a concrete truck onto the lawn leaving huge, very deep ruts. After I complained about this they returned the next evening with a load of fill for the ruts. The fill was NOT dirt. It was a mixture of what was obviously site refuse with large stones, gravel and concrete powder. Since this was done in the evening with poor light, I did not see it until the next morning. I would not use this company again.

Workers accidentally damaged my mailbox; however, after calling Bob..he replace it with a new one.
