+ -1 moreIt all started before I ever contacted Ivanilde's. I took advantage of a AAA weekly special. The AAA deal cost me $180.00 for a deep cleaning, but unfortunately the company that performed the service was horrible in every sense of the word. Rude, late for appointments, deep cleaning lasted 1.5 hours, called my wife rude (which had never happened before, believe that! Needless to say, I regretted my decision to seek out a cleaning company without the use of Angie's List. I found Ivanilde on Angie's List and was immediately shocked by the glowing reviews, and the amount of effort given to make their clients happy. So I started the process by reaching out to them by phone. Test #1- They immediately called me back to schedule a visit to my home. Test #2- They showed up promptly for our scheduled appointment. Test #3- They provided me a rate that I thought was extremely fair ($110.00/3,000 sq ft home), based on my experience with other cleaning companies. Test #4- They showed up on time to perform the initial deep cleaning. I was floored by the amount of attention to the details. They entered every room and moved every piece of furniture to the center of the room in order to clean every square inch of carpet and base board. I was also amazed that they spent 5 hours in my home, cleaning vigerously, with no breaks. My entire family noticed things like how they vacuumed the stairs in a really cool zebra pattern, and how they folded the blankets on their beds in neat shell like designs. Test #5- They were amazing to work with. Very polite, very hard working. They now clean my home every 2 weeks!!!

+ -1 moreI've had housekeepers for several years now, and this is one of the most thorough cleans I have had. My daughter has some knick knacks, and one was chipped (not by the cleaning company) and they came and reported it- so I know they were cleaning everything. In addition, we had done a lot of painting and had little paint splatters on our wood floor- they cleaned all of it up! They were very flexible with my schedule, even though it changed from when they came in and gave the estimate and when I signed up for service. I will be using them for a bi-weekly service.
Description of Work: I got an in depth entire house cleaning, and I loved it. The cleaning lasted approximately 6 hours with between 2-5 people.

They cleaned everything including window blinds, light switches and places my mom hasn't been able to reach in years. When we walked in after they cleaned it was spotless. They did a fantastic job.

+ -1 moreArrived punctually, very, very professional, very pleasant, and very complete, thorough. Cleaning was truly in-depth, since due to surgery I had not been able to maintain the heavy-duty cleaning required with this large and busy house - or even some light cleaning! Both my husband and myself tend to have severe allergies/asthma to some cleaning products, but Ivanilde respected our wish to use the less-or-non-toxic products we had ready for them. This was greatly appreciated, also. We are so glad we found Ivanilde's cleaning company through Angie's list! Now I feel I can have a "control" on cleanliness in this house! We are hoping she can come once a month, permanently!

Description of Work: DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Deep Cleaning and wipedown of a whole house, including 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen area, family room, outside nature room,living room, hallway, rugs, as well as hardwood floors in the entire house and dusting of everything, including ceiling fans. Vacuum all rugs in house.I don't know how long they were here, but it was quite awhile. Everthing had to be taken down off the walls (among other things) and dusted and/or cleaned with water and some cleaning substances to get the dirt off. I would like to have my blinds cleaned, but it is extra and hurts my budget a little. MEMBER COMMENTS: Overall, I was totally impressed with the job Ivanildes Cleaning Company did at my house. I don't think it was cleaned like that in years--mayibe never. They were punctual and friendly, and that was a definite plus for me. I am grateful that they helped me with my house. Everything they said they would do, they did. One thing that sticks out is the cleaning of the floors. I had 2 previous people come in here to clean the floors, and they remained black. Ivanilde's got them clean. Now I don't have to walk around on dirty floors. They performed the above tasks with speed and accuracy. The first of the day, the parents showed up and started cleaning. I was absolutely amazed that they cleaned so fast and accurately. It was really wonderful to know they were doing a good job for me..They wiped everything down and dusted all the surfaces that needed it. The bathrooms were spotless. I am still amazed aboout the way they dusted "around" anything that needed it. One of these days I'll be able to find some extra in my budget to have the blinds cleaned.

+ -1 moreI had them perform a deep cleaning service for our house that is approx. 4,000+ sf. We had been doing remodeling and painting the past nine months and the house needed a good scrubbing. They did a great job and cleaned places that I didn't even think of. The people that came to clean were very pleasent and got right to work. Two people came at first and then another two came another hour or so later. They were here almost five hours. I thought it was a very good value. We have now asked them to come once a month to clean. At their monthly visit they came right on time and again got right to work. I gave them some guidance on how I wanted something done and they were happy to oblige. Three people came this time and they were done in under three hours. Very happy with their service.

+ -1 moreService today from Ivanildes was exceptional and just what I have been looking for since arriving in Columbus 8 years ago. I have recently been very discouraged by the quality of service with Merry Maids and it was a breath of fresh air to come home and find the entire house clearned as well as my grandmother would have liked. The wood floors are beautiful, the bathrooms spotless, the kitchen sparkles, the bathrooms spotless and the windows clear. I wil stay with this service biweekly from here on out and keep you updated. Thanks Angie's List for the recommendations.

+ -1 moreThis is the first time I have used a cleaning service and I am very happy we went with this company. The first cleaning took almost 5 hours and was very thorough. The weekly cleaning is very good and they do small extra touches (cute folding back of hanging towels and doing a load of soiled sheets without asking!) that I was very impressed with. Best money I've spent in a long time. They were definitely competative compared to the estimate I got from a rival company. Definitely would recommend to friends and family. Thanks for the hard work!
Description of Work: Whole house cleaning. First cleaning took almost 5 hours. Bathrooms cleaned well from inside the shower to mirrors and floor as well as the toilet Baseboards wiped. Hard surface floors moped. Dusting. Furniture moved to clean underneath. Appliances in kitchen cleaned on the inside and microwave cleaned inside as well. Blinds wiped down. Windows cleaned. Bed linens changed. Carpets vacuumed. Trash emptied. They brought all cleaning supplies.

+ -1 moreAmazing service. I used to be an officer in the military and am pretty familiar with inspections. I didn't put on a white glove but I checked in spots most never would have thought of. It passed inspection with flying colors. Sure I found some places that were missed but I haven't deep cleaned that house in 5 years. I was barely maintaining it and they cleaned WAY above my standards. Now my 2 neighbors and 2 friends are going to use them after they saw the results.

+ -1 moreThe appointment was for noon. Unfortunately they didn't show up until roughly 40 minutes later. That was my only complaint, and as I tend to run late too it was not a big deal. They started upstairs and cleaned all the rooms top to bottom and then worked their way to the main floor and eventually the basement. They were friendly and polite and were accomodating to our 3 cats - 2 of which thought the world was coming to an end and the other wouldn't stop trying to befriend the crew :) They started with 3 people but 2 more arrived shortly thereafter. They worked for roughly 4 hours and did a fantastic job. The place has never been so clean. One thing I was really impressed with was that they cleaned a lot of areas that weren't organized - including dressers and furniture in my room that too considerable effort to clear off then put stuff back on - more organized than when they started. Now that the deep cleaning is done I'll be having them back monthly to keep the place clean. I'm happy with that arrangement because I can keep up with the basics between cleanings myself.

+ -1 moreThis was a very positive experience. My initial call was responded to quickly and someone came out to see the house and provide an estimate the next day. Workers showed up on time and were very professional. They worked very hard and did an excellent job. I would rehire and recommend to others.
Description of Work: They performed a "move out" cleaning of the entire house. The house is approx 4500 sq ft and 3 levels. Two cleaners showed up and cleaned for 8 hours with one 20 minute break for lunch. Cleaning included 3 1/2 baths, woodwork wiped down throughout house, blinds and ceiling corners dusted as needed, all stainless steel kitchen appliances polished, microwave and refrigerator/freezer cleaned on inside, vacuum entire lower level and one guest bedroom upstairs, vacuum and polish hardwood floors throughout entire main floor and upstairs, swept out storage areas, mopped bathroom, laundry room, and storage room floors, cleaned inside of some windows. Probably did other things I did not observe.

+ -1 moreIvanide and her helpers knew exactly what needed to be done. I previously had told her what I wanted and when she came into the house, immediately started the jobs to be done. I didn't need to tell her how to do anything.. Since it was the first time I wanted to remain in my home, but soon found out that I didn't need to direct them at all. My home was left just as I had hoped, and I was very pleased.
Description of Work: I wanted all of my floors washed and wiped dry which Ivanide did. She and her helpers first vacuumed and then cleaned the floors. The rugs were moved back so that the floor could be adequately cleaned. The furniture was dusted, cobwebs removed, glass tables cleaned, bathrooms and kitchen surfaces cleaned. The oven was also well cleaned and stainless applicances well wiped so that there were no streaks.

They moved furniture to clean behind it, removed air-intake covers and washed them, and put everything back exactly as found. They worked for 8 hours on a 2,200 square foot house with 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. Cleaned every surface of the home until it sparkled!

+ -1 moreGreat company. They cleaned my whole house so thoroughly, that even 6 days later it is very clean. If I walk on the wood floors in white socks, they stay white. With the previous company, Olga Diehl's EuroClean, my socks would have been grayish black. I wished instead I had used Ivanilde's. Now when my grandchildren come over, they can take their shoes off without getting their socks blackened. The used a step ladder to clean cob webs from the 20 foot ceiling that the other company ignored. I was impressed with the attention to details. The five workers were punctual and did a meticulous job of cleaning. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is Five Star. I highly recommend them. Update: 2-16-13 The biweekly cleaning is superb!

Description of Work: They performed a deep clean of our four bedroom home two and a half bath home, which was in much need a cleaning. We had a 60-70 person cocktail party at our house and I waited until the last minute to try and find someone. They were able to come out and give me a quote AND clean within a three day period.

+ -1 moreThey arrived ready to go and completed the deep clean very quickly and efficiently. There were four people on the crew and they all seemed to know just what to do. Everyone worked together very well. I was very impressed with their efforts and they cleaned in placed I didn't think anyone would. I have a cocker spaniel and he presents some significiant challenges especially with shedding, but it wasn't a problem. I would highly recommend using Ivanhide's!
Description of Work: Needed to replaced cleaning lady after 20 years. I tried to keep up with the work however I wasn't doing very well. So I checked the list and called Ivanhilde's. I was able to schedule the estimate within a couple of days and scheduled the cleaning for the next week. I went with the bi weekly cleaning with an initial deep clean.

She was nice and professional. She did an excellent job. Our condo has never been cleaner.
