The tile store recommended several companies for my tile installation with a high recommendation for Charlie's Tile & Marble. I got a couple of estimates with both being similar I looked to Angie's List and determined that Charlie was a member with high ratings so I went with his company. The process was very easy. Once the tile came in Charlie was able to schedule it for installation the next week. It all went smoothly and although it took a couple of days longer due to the long tile and skill involved to lay level and straight, it was well worth it. Charlie and his assistant were very careful with my furniture and did everything possible to make it easy for me. I had been hesitant to do this installation due to the mess involved but I must say it was not anywhere nearly as bad as I thought it would be and I think that is a direct result of the care they took and their years of experience. At all times they were professional, trust worthy, and did exactly what they said they were going to do each day. I had no problem leaving them alone in my house while I ran errands during the process. Best of all the end result is awesome! I highly recommend this company and will use them again.

He did an incredible job. The tile that I had already bought needed to be put in with numerous, very small cuts. There was an easy way to do it, which would have required four cuts or a difficult way to do it, which required many more. But it really had to be done the difficult way. He did it. I didn’t have enough tiles, so we used extra tile that was for the base/floor and we put it on the front of the fireplace. He left and came back the next day to grout. Overnight, I decided that it really didn’t look good. So he came and took it off. Meanwhile I went out and got tiles that were very close, and he retiled it. He didn’t charge me extra, but I paid him extra. He was sticking to his regular price, and it added a half a day to his job. He did very nice work.

It was fair. They did a very good job on the tile. The floorboards were so-so, as they didn't cover the nail holes. His punctuality was not good, as he seemed to be on his own schedule, as we had to change our schedule to accomadate. His work was great with the tiling.

Good work. Would use this contractor again

Charlie had other jobs in progress, but was willing to come in the later afternoon for a few days to accommodate my timeline. He was efficient, friendly, and did a nice job for a reasonable price. I would definitely use him again, and recommend him for any tile work.

He arrived and began immediately--had to wait a second day for grout to dry--it just was a wonderful experience,

Very professional job done

Work was done when promised, and was only delayed by rain because equipment for cutting tile was outdoors which minimized mess indoors. Plumbing installation was completed despite problems with 45 year old original installation. Installer worked very hard to complete work as promised which was very high quality. Offered home owner alternatives where possible. Price for work completed was very competitive with estimates from competitors. We will put this company at the top of our list for future work of this type. One year later, no problems have developed and we are still very pleased with the work done by this company.

He is very honest. He bought all the matierals at the store and gave me the receipt. I trust him in my home when I am not there. He showed up everyday on time and worked till the job was completed.
