After contacting several other companies and getting the runaround, we called this company and they were at our house within an hour. The service tech was professional, pleasant, and honest. He did the repair quickly and for the price he quoted on the phone. We were very pleased and will use this company again.

I actually searched here first and found this company to have excellent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to get an actual response on a sunday night and a prompt appointment the next day. And even though my appointment was for 430pm, I was called to see if it was ok to move up the appointment because they were working fast. The whole work was done by 315pm. Kevin was the garage technician who did the work and he was pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. I believe overall cost was fair, specially considering his promptness and efficiency. I would certainly recommend this company and would use their services again.

I contacted Kevin from Certified and made arrangements for Ian to come out Monday. It was not an emergency for me. Ian arrived on time, was very professional, worked quickly and completed the repair plus other work I asked for. No surprises no hidden costs. I considered this a great value and would recommend Certified Garage door to anyone.

I found this company on Angie's list on 04/25/12 and called them to schedule appointment. They were able to come the very next morning, arriving promptly at 09:00 a.m. Kevin was very professional and very personable. He wasted no time in getting to the job. Since this turned out to be a rather simple fix, he was finished in a few minutes. We did discuss what would be involved in hurricane reinforcement for the existing door and replacing the existing door with a proper hurricane-rated door. I will use Certified Garage Door again.

I was so very impressed with the work and the professional who came to my house that I will use them again and more importantly I would highly recommend them. I have had some negative experiences with contractors since I moved to Fl. but this was wonderful. I chose them because they were on Angies List and was not dissapointed.

Called on a Thursday to get my opener replaced with a specific model (LM8550) and they were able to get the model and accessories I wanted and scheduled an install a few days later.They showed up at time scheduled, reviewed my setup and did "tune-up" of springs and rollers....very very professional and installed and reviewed docs with me. Really did a quality job like he was doing it to his own home.

I am very happy with the new Liftmaster belt garage door opener. Certified also gave me instruction on wear and tear of the ball bearings and what to look for if the spring breaks, but there was no pressure or anything to get that done at this service call. We also discussed the difference between my current garage door and a hurricaine door and he told me how much to expect to pay if I were to have my current door replace. The work I requested was done well and I appreciated the extra information. If I choose to have my door replaced in the future I would not hesitate to call Certified for the job!

I asked several neighbors and family friends for referrals and received various. I located Certified's online ad, as well as listing on Angies List. I called and spoke with Kevin, who was very informative and pleasant. He assured me a flat rate of $175 for the replacement of both springs. I advised him about the bent panel and he predicted it was purely cosmetic, not mechanical damage. We spoke some more about the door style and mechanics. I then called two more well advertised repair companies, who quoted me a MINIMUM of at least $50 more PLUS $35+ trip charges, as well as alleging the door 'might' need replacing, if the panel was bent. I paid $225 for the complete 'tune-up' service of my entire garage door system, which was substantially less than others wanted for JUST the torsion springs. My garage door operates more smoothly and quietly, now. I was very satisfied with my experience with Ian, Kevin, and Certified Garage Door. They were pleasant professionals, who I would recommend to family and friends, alike . They were not high pressure salesmen attempting to fear me into exorbitant and overpriced repairs. Simply two guys who had an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to work for themselves. Ask them the story, Ian and I spoke about it at length.

this is the second time I have used them. Both times, very responsive. They let you know when they are coming and they come when they say they will. Professional and do a great job.

We called 10 minutes after one of our springs broke and left a message. He called back immediately and drove from Lutz to Palm Harbor on Superbowl Sunday. He did not charge extra for it being an emergency call or the fact that it was Sunday. We were very pleased with his service and would definitely use this company again.

We were satisfied with the results. They were very good. They came out and gave the estimate, telling us what we needed to do. They got it installed in a few hours; it was great.

Fantastic. It is like we have a new door! Our biggest complaint other than the fact the garage door would not open due to a broken carriage assembly, is the very loud sound the garage door made when activated. When everything was lubricated, adjusted and then "balanced," it was as if we had a new door. IAN ALVORD was so patient with all my questions. He answered everything thoroughly and gave me future maintenance tips to insure our door stays quiet when opening and closing for years to come. We will certainly use this company again!
