We had already purchased sensors previously, and he installed them for free as well as the rollers. There were no hidden charges and they did a great job.

Lucky for me, I called Certified Garage Door, and Kevin was at my home in less than 2 hours and fixed the problem.  + -1 moreI called around noon today thinking I will get someone early next week to have our garage door fixed which broke a spring this morning. Despite Easter weekend, Ian was able to work us in. Over the phone conversation, he was very informative in what needed to be done and quoted me a fair price for material/labor (he does not charge service fee). As the other customer wrote, he gave us a courtesy call and informed me of the time he will arrive at our house. Upon timely arrival, he explained what will be done just as he told me over the phone. It didn't even take an hour to replace the springs and the rollers. He lubricated the hinges and the garage door opener track and it is a lot quieter than it's been. He also gave us tips for taking care of the garage door to keep it functioning smoothly. Thank you Ian for your candid assessment, professionalism, and great customer care.

After listening to my description, he was able to explain what was wrong and tell me exactly how much it was going to cost to fix it. He gave me a courtesy call before he showed up to confirm what time he would be here, finished the work exactly within the time he predicted, and for the exact amount he first quoted. This industry has it's share of shady characters - this company is a breath of fresh air! Great service, great interaction, great product - all for a VERY fair price. THANKS!

First he fixed the immediate issue (my door was about to fall) and then we talked about replacing the springs and rollers which I had already wanted to do. Description of Work: On Monday, Memorial Day, I called and left a message on the company answering machine stating that my garage door would not stay closed. I would push the button to close the garage door and after it closed it would open. I also requested a service time after 1:00 pm Tuesday. Tuesday morning I received a call telling me that they had received my message and would 1:30pm work for me. We agreed on the time and just like clock work the technician arrived at 1:30. The technician quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me what part was broken. He actually found a piece of the broken part on the garage floor. It was a plastic piece that tells the opener that the door is closed and it is called a stop dog. My garage opener is a 25 year old Wayne Dalton model 2113 and he did not have parts with him to fix it. Here is what makes the company special. The technician told me a web site that I could go to to order the part. When I found the part to call him to make sure I was ordering the right part. I followed his instructions and I ordered the part. This his the first service provider I have ever used ( I'm 70 years old) that gave me a web site where I could order the repair part directly. All other providers want to get the part themselves and mark it up. The technician told me to call him when the part came in and he would come and install it. Todays charge was $0.00. He told me he would charge me for a service call when he came back to install the part. I was over whelmed by his kindness telling me where I could buy the part, waynedaltonparts.com, and not charging me until he came back to install it. This certainly qualifies for an Angie Award.

 + -1 moreIt went very well. I called to leave a message with the business on a Sunday, and I received a call back that day. They scheduled a visit for the following morning. He ran a bit late, but called to let me know first. He replaced my broken spring & wheels, and maintenanced my door ( that I had neglected for at least 7 years). The door funtions fine now, and there are no more loud pings and popping noises. He was informative, courteous, and professional with no pressure sales tactics. I don't generally rate with so many As since it really doesn't help others to identify the real strengths of a business, but I was very satisfied with the services in all catagories.

 + -1 moreThe garage door spring broke while closing after backing the car out of the garage fortunately. Called around 9am and they were able to do the repair after 3:30pm. Ian called about 10 minutes prior to arrival a little before 4pm. I had told them I thought there were 2 springs when discussing it this morning however when Ian looked at it, there were obviously 3 springs, one of which was broken. He replaced the springs and did the adjustments in less than an hour. It works now and I am happy.
Description of Work: Replaced 3 springs. One was broken. All three springs were at least 12 years old. Made adjustments to ensure that the door opened and closed properly.

My neighbor aske him to look at his garage door. Ian replaced both his springs and rollers. In a few hours we both have doors that operate quietly and safely. When I replace my door with a hurricane rated door, I will use Certified.
Description of Work: Ian promptly returned my call and came out to repair my broken cable that had my car trapped in my garage. While he was here he replaced the old worn rollers. He also fixed the cover which had fallen off the opener motor.
