They were prompt, did an excellent job, and the house looks beautiful. We had one problem with our front door and the painter came the day after calling and repaired the door to our satisfaction. Very professional. We are completely satisfied with the quality of the work performed.

Due to a neighbor's recommendation we called CertaPro for an estimate. We needed our whole house painted but wanted to start out with just the garage since it was peeling and we had a party coming up. The outside color needed to be approved by the HOA and that would take some time so we explained that we wanted to start with the garage but also wanted a quote for the whole house since that would be coming up soon. The guy who came out was prompt and professional. He gave us a quote for just the garage and also the whole house, which was exactly what we wanted. We scheduled the painting of the garage for the next week, on a Friday. I came home from work that day and the garage door was painted but it looked horrible! It looked like they had not removed any of the old, peeling paint and just slapped a coat of paint on top of it. You could see the peeling paint underneath it and it had even peeled off in some spots already to show the grey metal underneath. We called right away to complain and were told the manager would contact us Monday. The manager, Jay, called us from our driveway and agreed that the job was not done properly and said someone would be out that week to fix it. Two weeks go by and we get a phone call saying that the job is done. I get home to look at the door and although it looks better than it did the first time, it is clear that still no one has scraped and removed all the old paint underneath and it is still uneven and peeling in spots. It states right on the estimate that they will "scrape all loose and peeling paint to ensure a firm base for the new paint." If I wanted a new coat of paint slapped on top of the old one I could have done it myself. We hired professionals because we wanted it done right. After another annoyed phone call to the manager we were told it would be done again. Fast forward to today when we got a phone call telling us that they were there for 3 hours today and it is done. I get home and honestly couldn't even tell they had been there. I'm not sure what they did today for 3 hours but it wasn't scrape the old paint off the garage. Needless to say we will definitely not be hiring them to paint the rest of our house and whoever we hire next will need to redo the garage again.

The house and the trim were done well. They needed to come back and fix part of the back lanai that was missed, but they did so quickly and without complaint. The only part we were disappointed with was the painting of the front door. It wasn't primed and it is streaked in parts where you can see the old paint color coming through.

Certa Pro originally quoted us a job for several inside rooms. Joe Vumbaco had measured all the rooms and gave us an estimate for the rooms we requested, along with one room about which we weren't sure. The quote included a $100 discount for a job over $100. As it turned out, we chose to have only the one room painted. Mr. Vumbaco gave us a "contract" which included the $100 discount. We agreed to the contract and set up a time and date for the service. On the date of service, two workers showed up. They did a great job of taping the room. They filled the holes and sanded the areas. We had several areas where cord strips had been placed and when they were removed, the paint came off as well, along with some of the drywall. Those areas needed to be patched and that work was included in the contract. When the room was nearly finished, I noticed that the areas that needed to be patched looked horrible and had not been done very well. I called Mr. Vumbaco to let him know that the work was not being performed to my satisfaction. Mr. Vumbaco told me that "Jay" would call me back. Jay never called, but the worker who was at my house, Carlos, informed me that he didn't have the right tools to perform the job right and that someone else would be at the house the next morning to finish the job. The next morning, Carlos' father, also named Carlos, showed up to complete the job. He did a good job and I was satisfied. When he was leaving, I gave him a check for the amount agreed to in the contract. He said that it was $100 short and should have been $664. I told him that my contract stated $564 and that was all I was paying and if that was a problem he could have Joe Vumbaco call me. Mr. Vumbaco did, indeed call me immediately upon learning about the check. He informed me that the contract had a mistake on it - the discount was only for a job that was over $1,000 and should not have been applied. I countered that it was not my fault, it was what I was quoted. Had I known it was going to be an extra $100, I may have gone with another vendor. Especially if I had known that the work would have been done by contractors who were not capable of doing the job properly or on time. But after some discussion, I agreed to pay the extra $100 and Mr. Vumbaco sent someone by my home to pick up the check. This will be the last time I will use CertaPro Painters for interior painting. They did the outside of my home and did a great job. But either they have taken on inferior contractors or just don't care about retaining customers.

I want to start with the end result, our home looks great. The painter did a fantastic job! He values quality and workmanship and treats the house as if it were his own. Unfortunately the company he represented, Certapro, did not have others that shared his values. Our job was to start on the 23rd of April but due to weather it had to be pushed back a day. So work started Friday the 24th but not on time. They pressure washed our house and that was it. I was informed that a crew would be out on Saturday to get the house prepped for painting. Saturday came, no one showed. I had contacted the person working my house on Saturday evening to find out what was going. I was given an excuse about problems with another job and he informed me someone would be by at 8am on Sunday the 25th to start prep. Sunday 8am, no one showed. Around 11:30am I sent an email to Certapro and a text to my contact person to cancel the job. At 12:30pm, someone shows up, I send him away only to receive a call asking for another chance. I give in believing in 2nd chances. The person shows up to caulk the cracks on my home, my 2 story home, with a 5 foot ladder. Right there, I knew I made a mistake but let him work what he could. Monday comes but weather is an issue again, so Tuesday work begins. They send me a painter, at this point I'm doubting my decision to let Certapro representatives continue with my house but I'm glad I did. The painter they sent, James F, values the quality of his work and wants that to show in your house. He went above and beyond what he had to do but he said this is how I work. My home was complete by Friday. My house came out fantastic and it looks great. Unfortunately for Certapro, James' great job does not help them with this customer. They would of gotten lower grades in Overall and Professionalism if not for James. The other person who represented them on this job cost them future business. I will not be doing any business with Certapro in the future.

No response - they did not return my call. I found someone else to do the work.

Overall, CertaPro did a great job. This is the second time I've used them. The first time was when I prepared my former house for sale, and this time after my husband and I bought our current home. They were punctual, professional and completed the work within the timeline quoted. The crew was neat, cleaning up the workspace before leaving each day. They were also unobtrusive, working quietly and efficiently. The crew chief answered all of my questions to my satisfaction and offered suggestions on painting options (e.g., whether to paint the ceiling of my covered patio and exterior doors the same color as the walls or leave them white/black). The billing process was also explained fully and completed as described. The initial quoting process wasn't quite as responsive as I would have liked, but good enough. I requested a quote and received pricing information within a day or so, but then moving from quote acceptance to scheduling took much longer. That could have been a function of the crews being booked, but they didn't communicate that ... or much of anything until they were ready to get me into the queue. I would probably use them again, but would definitely solicit bids from other companies first to make sure they remain competitively priced.

Excellent from start to finish. Completed everything in just over two days. House is 2060 sq. ft. and had not been painted since being built in 1991. Lots of cracks, peeling paint, mildew, chalkiness, etc. Painters were fabulous. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will use them in future for interior work.

Terry was one of several estimates I obtained for the exterior painting of my home. He was prompt in his response to my initial contact, within minutes in fact. We set up a date and time for the estimate and he showed up exactly on time. Terry was professional, obviously knowledgeable about his trade and freely offered ideas and options for the work. I did not choose to use Terry this time around but would definitely consider using him in the future and would not hesitate to refer him based on our interactions and his professionalism. Terry exemplifies what Angie's List is all about.

Work was done in for a fair price and good quality. Only a few issues with scheduling of painters but those were worked out. Overall a good job for reasonable price.

After measuring my home for painting, he said he'd get back to me via e-mail the next day. I never heard another word. Thinking he had the incorrect e-mail, I used his card to e-mail him, therefore, he had the correct e-mail. Still never responded, which makes no sense. If you don't want the job, either say so or make the big so high I'll refuse. Weird.

I had a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, master bed, stairwell, and general purpose room all painted. They did the tedious paint brush work while I was doing other rooms in the house. The two gentlemen immediately got to work, and worked hard the entire time. They finished what I hoped they would get done (rooms mentioned above) with 2 hours to spare. So they helped me do the other rooms I was working on. I had a couple of spots that were thin on the paint, but no big deal. They cleaned up quickly and left my house nice.

They arrived on time and began work immediately. They were attentive to our concerns and they did a great job. We were impressed by their professionalism, courtesy and their workmanship. Very happy with the results.

We have used Certa Pro Paint on several different occasions and have been completely satisfied each time. They are on time - do an excellent prep of the house before they start painting - and do a superior job of painting. They clean up afterwards and leave you with a "new" home. Highly recommend.

It went pretty good. They had a new contractor, he didn't have a lot of employees, took a long time but it end up good.

I have used this provider multiple times now. Terry Beamer the owner is top notch. I would recommend getting a quote from Terry before getting any painting done he is great.

They were fantastic. If you call hey will come out to give you an estimate and then come back to do the work. They give great prices, they were very professional and they did a great job painting the house.

I have been using their services for about 18 months. They do a good job and the price is right.

It went well with reservations. They were specifically asked to weatherize all natural paneling (underscore) and mistakenly stained part of the paneling that was to be weatherized. Cannot be "re-done". Back deck "bubbled" in some places. This was re-painted in timely manner. Am undecided as to hiring this company again (but had to determine "yes" or "no") since directions were not followed. Don't know how we could have been any clearer about weatherizing all the paneling.

I called and scheduled a time for a representative to come out and give me a quote on painting the exterior of our home and detached garage. About two hours after the scheduled appointment they had not arrived. I called inquiring as to their where a bouts, and the receptionist said she would get in touch with that person and they would get back to me??they never did. No one has been in touch with me since.
