I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out fine. They got the job done, but they showed up late and they were not willing to negotiate. I paid more than the actual big deal purchase. In regard to their price, being that they were late I think their price was too high. I think that they should have given us a break on that. I was not particularly pleased with that. The other issue is that the place we moved into there is another floor as well and the actual movers were not notified of that, which I told them in the first place. So, when they got there they were not pleased because they did not realize what the job was going to entail, so they were frustrated and exhausted. In regard to responsiveness, if I ever called they said they did not have a manager on duty which is a crape because every one has a manager on duty even if it is a weekend. So, I was not really pleased with that either.

The experience has been pretty much all positive. They were courteous and professional. They took good care of moving things, nothing was damaged. The only negative was they had a move prior to mine that took a lot longer than they initially thought so they were supposed to show up around 1 o'clock and they didn't show up until 6. They did my move from 6 to 10 pm. They didn't blow it off. They completed the work even though it was late, so that was another positive. I would definitely recommend them.

Arrived on time, nice, moved quickly, they were organized, but when it was time to unload everything, they were in a hurry and just didn't care about doing the job well anymore (even though they had had a nice 20-30 minute break (we bought them pizza and drinks for lunch ). I had to put the guest room's bed back together, they just unloaded everything, put it in a pile in the middle of the living room and left. The only thing they actually put back together was the bed in the master which we had to redo as it wasn't stable and squeaking like no other. We have (had) a white couch, and after the move, we could see traces of dirty hands on the cushions and stains. Also, for one of the garage shelving furniture, they lost/ threw out all the screws, and since they are specific screws, we had to throw away the furniture as we couldn't put it back together. (once again they just left the pieces of the furniture in a pile in the garage... Over all give those guys a C. If you want a cheap service it's the way to go, it's average service for the money. If you have expensive furniture don't use this company.

Two packers arrived in the afternoon on Monday, 27 Jan 2014 as requested and packed up the apartment. Tina was excellent at packing up the kitchen, nothing was broken upon unpacking at the house. The movers Wayne, Chris, Kyle, and John arrived the next morning and all put protective padding around the furniture and moved everything out to the truck and unloaded it all at the house. Wayne was an expert at getting everything packed into the truck, safe and secure. They were all courteous and took precautions with our furniture, and glassware. The price was also very reasonable and we would use them again and recommend them to others.

They were excellent. They sent a guy named Marcus who was very personable and professional. I only needed an hours worht of time to help me unload the large items from a moving truck. That's exactly what I got. it went perfectly. I would use this company again anytime. Highly recommend. A+

Went AWFUL! I was there all day with 3 kids one is only a year old. The entire house was packed up so there was no food for us to eat or drink and I couldn't leave. The men were there at 9am but took forever to get moving. A little here a little there. They lolly gagged around all day. Took them 7 hours just to pack the garage. My husband and a friend packed and unpacked the whole house in 8 hours. By 4:30 a new guy showed up and another truck and they started packing up the house. Didn't get to our new house and unpacked until after 10 pm. Then instead of charging us the original $1800 for the services we were charged the original price plus some with out the coupon they said they would give us because it took 12 hours for them to pack the house in the truck and unpack it at our new house. So because they fooled around we had to pay the price. Worst experience ever then to have to pay for bad service on top of it was extremely disappointing!

It was a terrible experience. Their communication was terrible. I called and sent emails multiple times and only reached them by sheer luck. They added extra costs than what was specified in the Deal I purchased. In the process of moving, they broke an expensive lamp, and documented it on the invoice. It’s been nine days and I keep calling and emailing them, but they have not responded.

They arrived over 2 hours late to begin packing our house. Before arriving to unpack they never told us we would have to sign an agreement that they only pay $.60/lb. for damages and that we should get our own moving insurance. We had no choice but to sign because we were closing on the house the next day and had to be moved out. We were assured that they did a great job and there would be little damage to anything. They underestimated how long it would take to pack and move us out of the house-- despite working late in to the night, they could not finish. They threatened to not be able to come back the next day because it was not on their schedule. With much pleading they did return and finish. But we found out on the other end, how their under estimation of the time and care it would take to move all our furniture affected the quality of their service. On the other end, they arrived over 6 hours late to deliver the furniture to our new house. We have an antique dining room set that belonged to my husband's grandparents-- they totally destroyed the legs on it and did damage to other pieces of furniture. The owner showed up to apologize for their lateness, saw the damages and guaranteed us his company would cover them. It took the person fixing the legs on the dining room table almost 4 months to adequately restore them-- that is how much damage was done. We have still not received any compensation. After our experience we looked up this company on the Better Business Bureau website. They have several other similar complaints lodged against them and no apparent resolution to any of them. We were very sorry we had not checked them out on more than Angie's List.

I contacted this company because of the high rating they hold on Angie's List and we were not was not disappointed at all. Justin contacted me the next day, after he had already sent an email to me; he asked some general questions, Approximations of furniture to be moved, how many rooms, contact info etc. He gave me a ballpark overview of total costs. Justin contacted me again the night prior to my move to confirm the move was still a go, he said the team would contact me prior to arrival and they would begin after everything was explained to my satisfaction and all questioned answered. The morning of the move I received a call from Wayne, he said he was from Brothers EZ Moving and asked if I had any disagreement with them beginning earlier, I told them I was walking out to eat breakfast with the family, but I had no problem. Wayne said they would be there at 0830 which I thought was awesome! Upon returning from Breakfast I entered the apartment complex and noticed a truck pulled to the side, I got out and Wayne introduced himself and asked if I was his contact I said yes. He followed me to my apartment. The truck was parked and I was introduced to John, the second person of the two man crew. I showed Wayne and John where I lived and what needed to be moved. These two guys then went to work!!! They had the place wrapped up and on the truck very quickly, and made it seem easy. I remember moving that stuff in and it was not fun, they had it down to a science and worked efficiently and effectively. They stayed in constant communication with me asking how I wanted things packed and placed on the truck and communicated with each other in the manner, after only a few minutes of watching this I was at ease and had no worries about our belongings, Wayne and John treated our belongings as if it were their own, and I really appreciated that. The delivery was as flawless and as easy as the pickup was the moved everything to where it needed to be, nothing and I mean nothing was broken, scratched or damaged in any way, shape or form! My wife was ecstatic, and everybody knows, if Mama aint Happy, Ain't nobody Happy! My family and I were very happy with the service we received from Brothers EZ Moving, and I will most DEFIANTLY use and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone and everyone. I found them to be very professional, courteous, hardworking, and just some great guys. I thank them for making this the easiest move I have ever been involved in, and I was a Marine Brat and then joined the military, so I am VERY FAMILIAR with all aspects of moving, Wayne and John made this look easy and completed it flawlessly. Thanks Guys. PS Found out through the course of conversations that Wayne and I are from the same city in Virginia. So it was like having a friend helps me move, that was the comfort level I experienced with his move.

Started out slow (late arrival), but once they got settled - the movers worked diligently. Good team work, and attention to making sure our stuff was moved carefully. I also commend the movers on utilizing all the space in our storage unit - because we needed every inch of the room to fit it all. I also have to note that I was disappointed that it took two trips to get all our stuff moved out - it turned out to be a really long day. But, even with that set back, I was pleased with the effort to go back for a second trip and get the job done. The packing effort in that unit was impressive and the overall experience/level of effort was satisfying.

It was a long, time-consuming move but the guys stuck with it and were very professional.

The movers were polite, attentive and careful. They did not bring any tools with them, which I thought was strange, since they were required to take apart bed frames, take legs off tables etc, and at least needed a screwdriver. The delivery crew (different than the pack-up crew) also had no tools. They both borrowed mine. Everything was wrapped carefully in blankets and plastic and there was no breakage - bravo! One strange thing - the delivery crew put together my queen bed frame and put the bed on it, but left a cross-support on the floor without attaching it to the frame. I found it under the bed a couple of days later. Thankfully, the bed hadn't fallen down. Other than that, a great job. The estimate of cost was way off the mark. The estimate was done over the phone, with me listing verbally all the contents. Estimate was for 8 hours plus overnight storage, and the job took 12 hours. I was very happy to have purchased the Angie's List Deal. I felt the movers were worth it, but I was a little annoyed that the estimate was so far off.

Unfortunately, the move started off badly. The movers were 2 and a half hours late arriving to my residence. They apparently had truck maintenance issues and rented a truck from a vendor to use for the move. Timing was very important as I was closing on my house that day and needed to be out and the house cleaned before the closing. Once they got here everything went well.

The crew showed up earlier than scheduled and went straight to work preparing the furniture for the move. They took good care that the expensive Italian furniture was well padded and secured to mitigate any potential damage during the loading, transportation and unloading process. Very professional.

They were on time and polite. They wrapped most of the furniture but they did not wrap my antique table. It was heavily damaged but they said they would send $50 for the repairs. However, they have not followed through. Overall, I was pleased with the service and I would hire them again. I would suggest if you use them to make sure they wrap anything valuable.

They were punctual, courteous and very helpful. I strongly recommend this company.

they moved our huge couch set and an upright piano with very very minimum scratches, we are very happy.

It went great. I had previously hired them to do a large move, and some of my furniture was damaged. The owner, despite being able to legally fall back on the 60 cents/lb insurance rule, sent out an excellent furniture repairman and made everything right. I was appreciative of how well they handled everything and hired them for this move, which was just a large amount of boxes from one house to another. The movers, Wayne and Marcus, called me to let me know when they would arrive, arrived on time, and were very, very friendly and professional. They moved everything quickly and carefully and at the destination helped me re-arrange a large amount of boxes for an older lady that has trouble lifting. They moved everything quickly and were careful to stack lighter boxes on top and to place the boxes in a nice manner, rather than just drop them wherever and walk away. Overall they did a great job.

Wayne & Jamie arrived on time. They were very productive, professional and cautious. They truly exceeded my expectations. The only feedback I can provide in order to help improve the service is to ensure the movers have extra boxes and tools should it be needed.

I am in the process of contacing moving companies for estimates - I contacted this company today and they were giving me an estimate over the phone. How good of company is this where they will give an estimate over the phone - all others companies contacted took their time and made an appointment with me to come and see items to be move, sizes, etc. Very dissapointed.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. We've used them twice. The first time was great and then the second time, we requested the same guys and we were told we were getting all but one. None of the same guys showed up and 4 guys took twice as long for the move than the 3 guys the previous time, so it was more than 4 hours. We ended up paying them extra and my husband was very resistant to doing that but it was just like, we were in so let's go on with it. I can't recommend the second experience. The first experience was great. Apparently some of their movers are better than others. It seemed disorganized and this was actually an easier move because everything was stored in the garage area in a smaller apartment as opposed to cleaning out the house and everything else. They never emailed me but they were on time and I got scheduled. Regarding their punctuality, they had a truck breakdown so that really wasn't their fault.

I had paid for four movers, and only two showed up. Right as they were finishing up packing me, two more movers finally showed up. They tried to charge me another $100 out of no where and I refused. I called the owner and he was apologetic and said I did not have to pay for it. Then, the mover broke two different pieces of furniture and there were also scratches. The movers lied to me about the situation also, which really upset me. It would have been a great deal if they did what they said they would. The owner was very professional however the movers were not.

EZ Brothers were punctual, professional and very hard workers. We bought the coupon 4 movers for 4 hours and they were scheduled at 9am on Saturday the 4th. They came timely were careful with all of our belongings. The total move was about 4 1/2 hours, however we did not have to pay for the last half hour which would have been $100 as an old piece of glass broke in the move. That was the only damaged property and it was not a big deal. We would use this service again as well as recommend them to friends and family.
