Description of Work: I had two lawnmowers that would not start. I dropped both off at 11:30am on a Saturday morning and they were fixed SAME DAY (!) by 3:30pm for $130 total for both.

Description of Work: Terrific service! I will definitely use him again and recommend him to all my friends. He was prompt, customer-oriented, fast, and explained everything he did in case I wanted to do it myself in future. He also listed several things I could do optimize performance and lengthen the life of my mower. He is also the most reasonably priced mower repair person I have ever encountered.

Description of Work: Our gasoline powered generator sat for several years without running, and would not start. Bill cleaned out the fuel system and got the system running within a few hours of dropping the engine off at his shop. Bill also told us how to prevent the problem again by always making sure we run the engine completely out of gas every time we use it. I recommend Bill to everyone with small engine problems.

+ -1 moreBill showed up on time. Introduced self and was neat in appearance. Spoke well and was professional in his manner and his conduct. Spoke well of other companies in the same business. Started to work just as soon as he got to home. Had lawn mower running quickly and then performed yearly maintenance items quickly and professionally. Very honest. Left parts, spark plugs and fuel filter, that were replaced for further inspection if I had felt necessary. But, this was not necessary. Both items needed replacement. Collected used oil on site and removed used for professional disposal after he left my home. VERY PROFESSIONAL! Had provided estimate of cost before he had arrived and his final bill was under my estimate of what it would cost to fix the riding mower.
Description of Work: Came to home and worked on riding lawn mower. 1. Installed battery and got mower to start. 2. Changed oil 3. Cleaned air filter 4. Replaced spark plugs 5. Replaced fuel filter 6. Sharpened and balanced blades 7. Gave lawn mower complete check from end to end.

+ -1 moreLawn mower stopped working and would not start. It is not an ancient lawn mower so we decided to get Bill to check it out. I think he said he'd charge $50 to even show up but that's what's so great is that he comes to your house and fixes the mower. He has all the materials he needs. He replaced the blade which had been thoroughly chopped to nothingness (he showed me the old and new to help me make the decision) and then did the other repairs, and he also set the level higher which will help the lawn grow better as well as help the mower work better. And he was just a very pleasant person. Now the mower works good as new.

Description of Work: He came to my house and overhauled the mower, changed the spark plugs, fixed the gears and then he also fixed it so that one of my adjustments on my wheels would adjust without me having to do it.

+ -1 moreOur riding lawn mower needs its blades replaced and we have no way of taking it anywhere for service, so when we came across Bill's Mower Repair on Angie's List we were thrilled. However, when my husband called to inquire about the service, he was informed that this company does not travel from Davis Islands to Brandon. Although I don't consider this to be a long commute, the Angie's List description should include the limited travel this company is willing to do.

Description of Work: Bill was able to repair my mower in one day. On another occasion Bill repaired one of my mowers in less than an hour. The repair Bill most did recently, included changing oil, sharpening the blade, cleaning the carburetor, replacing air filter, cleaning plug and choke mechanism.
