Do bad job, not even the third used is broken again. Random job!!

He had it up and running within a few hours of me dropping it off. Even stayed a little late so that I could get it back same day.

Showed up on time as promised; repaired leaking fuel line, changed blade, oil and air filter. Mower is like new now.

Bill is always a wonderful person to deal with. We dropped off the mower, edger, string trimmer and blower on a Saturday (because everything decided to break at the same time). By Monday we had received a call that everything was fixed....at a very reasonable price for everything that had to be fixed. So when we picked it up we dropped off the pressure washer (which hadn't been used in so many years). Of course, it was done in no time. All of the equipment works like it is brand new. We will always take our lawn equipment to Bill.

Bill's pricing remained true to his quote - in fact, the requested service cost less than initially quoted - and the additional maintenance described under provider service undoubtedly extended the life of my $600+ lawnmower for at least several additional years --- great for me, bad for the big-box company that sold me the mower and expects people to be unaware of and thus skip on general maintenance so that they can continue to sell mowers that, without proper servicing, will only last a few years. With Bill's help, I basically have a new mower at less than 1/6th the price of a big-box mower, and mine will now last me for years to come. My gas-trimmer did not want to start anymore. I called Bill and he offered me to take care immediately. I drove to his place and he drilled down to the problem, which was not obvious at all. In the end, it turned out that old gasoline had clogged my carburetor. Bill explained everything to me, gave me advice, filled the tank with fresh gasoline. He worked for nearly an hour total. I feel he is a true expert on small engines, charges reasonably and is very thorough and helpful.

I always try to do my own work, within reason, but I tried for over a year to loosen the bolts on my lawn mower's tires but to no avail. When the back tire finally cracked, I tried again, burning out a drill and clipping my finger in a wrench, so I finally gave in. I called one repair shop and got a $49 ONE way pickup quote, and 1-2 week shop time. I called Bill Heagey and he came the next day to my home, arriving exactly on time. I had the parts which he rapidly but efficiently installed: four tires, blade, filter and spark plug. He exchanged my motor oil, and my (aging) lawn motor is now good as new; in fact, I just mowed my lawn an hour ago. Grand total $75 and worth every penny. Plus Bill is a really nice guy to boot! I told him I would see him next year and I will.

I have been using Tom for a few years now and even though it is a hike to get to him it is so worth the time. I originally was going to drop everything off on 4/1 but was unable to do so. Tom offered to come to the house to pick everything up but the trip to his house is enjoyable so I dropped everything off the next day. I had some wheels, and little parts that I had purchased and asked Tom to replace them while he was fixing the belt on the mower. I had tried to replace a spark plug on the blower and a part had broken off so he fixed that also. Since there were 2 items I was not concerned if it was going to take a few days,..even though he said he should have them ready the next day. Sure enough I received a call the next morning telling me that items were done. Tom fixed everything and more. Whenever I pick up a mower it always runs better than it did when it was new and it is such a pleasure to have a leaf blower that actually works. I will use Tom for as long as we are living in the living in the same city. Not only does he do exceptional work but is such a pleasant individual. Thanks Tom.

I've used Bill's services a few times over the past 8 years or so. Turn around is usually same day and his prices are very fair and reasonable. Most recent issue was a lawnmower that would not start. Dropped it off with Bill and it was repaired and tuned up in about three hours.

I was surprised he did not offer to order the cable or otherwise offer to help.

Cleaned and tuned up a lawn mower that had been sitting in the garage unused for over 2 years. It now works great ! Completed a rehab of 2 edgers that were not working at all. Both are now in working order and usable. I would recommend Bill to anyone who had a small engine problem and will most certainly use him again when I need a repair or service.

I call Bill and left message he call me back in a couple of hours. I asked could I bring my two items in on Sat and he stated I could. I dropped them off and told him I was in no hurry that during the week if he called I could pick them up. He stated they would be ready that afternoon. And they were. Completed overhauled. Both of them ran better than when I bought them. Bill is very professional and the quality of work is superb. I recommend him to anyone. In fact now going to take my power weed eater for maintence. He will go to your place if requesting.

We originally started out looking for someone to repair our chainsaw. After doing a search and reading the comments of others we decided to take our chainsaw and our edger to him. When we got to Bill's on the Spot Lawn Mower Repair he explained that he did not work on chainsaws but could fix the edger. Told us the cost, what the problem might be, took our number and said it should take about an hour. In half an hour he called to pick it up. He was fast, reasonably priced, explained in detail and showed us what he did. We are now going to take him our pressure washer to repair and I have also told my brother and other relatives of Bill's service.

Bill did great. He appears to be a one man shop so you need to schedule a drop off time and he'll call you when it is ready to schedule a pick-up. In my case he had my three pieces serviced and ready in under 24 hours. I thought I would get a little more time to use the "mower is in the shop" excuse for not mowing the lawn.

Terrific. 7 year old mower performs like the day I purchased it. Excellent and fast work at very competitive price. Best tune up ever!
