I was very pleased with A. DiChristopher Appliance Service. The repairman came the day after I called for service. He was prompt, courteous and most important of all, he fixed my ice maker.

Quoted $385.00. OE Whirlpool Bearing and Seal Kit on Amazon for $75.00. Labor time to replace Bearing and Seal approximately 1 Hour. Priced themselves out of a Job. Bought new Washer.

I placed an inquiry through Angies list. Don called back the next business day, asked a few questions, suggested he order a part and call back on Wednesday. On Wednesday he called back promptly, and asked if that day worked for a service call and replacement. Don quoted me between 10-noon and arrived at 11:00 on the dot. He was professional, cautious and to the point. He even suggested I keep pets out of the way for their safety, a point I hadn't thought about. He was direct, and focused on the repair, without small talk or chit-chat. He finished up, cleaned up and provided us with some important education to increase the longevity of the appliance. If you want a professional company with little chit-chat and all business, Don's your guy!

Went very well- repair tech was knowledgeable and efficient.

Appointment window was between 9-11. Don was here at 9:30 and quickly diagnosed the problem I asked him if it needed a new compressor and he said all it needed was a relay and to have the coils cleaned. I appreciated his honesty. He was very friendly, and professional. I am very pleased with the service and price and highly recommend this company

I called them today because they had recently done repair work on my refrigerator at home and I was happy with the work. I explained to her that I had a washer/dryer stacked at my place of business and the washer needed repaired. She said that she didn't have anyone that could fix it this week because it would take 2 guys to take the dryer down and she didn't have two until next week because her husband was in the hospital. I explained to her that I could wait until next week. She then said that her husband would be too backed up to do the work when he got out of the hospital so I should just call somewhere else. I told her that if she could give me a 3 hour window, I could make sure that either I or my husband could be there to help take the dryer down so that they could work on the washer. she then gave another excuse about why they couldn't do it. So I said, "I just want to be clear, you are not interested in taking this job because the dryer is stacked on the washer". Somehow that triggered her and she then launched in to a tirade about how I didn't care that her husband was getting out of the hospital and she hung up the phone on me. I then called back and left a message that I felt it was very rude and inappropriate to talk to me like that and to hang up on me and that I would be putting a review out on Angie's List. She called back and again was immediately very rude. I laughed about something she said and then she went off about how she was going to put that (my laughing) in the rebuttal to this review and then she started ranting again about me not caring about her husband. She was unhinged so I told her that she was crazy and I then hung up on her. I understand she is stressed because her husband is in the hospital. But I have a small business as well and I also understand that you can't treat potential customers like that. All she needed to do was keep her composure, politely decline the request for service, and wish me luck with getting it repaired. But instead she launched in to a very nasty tirade. No matter how much stress you are under, you don't take it out on clients on the phone. She was very unprofessional and I would NEVER give them my business again.

Excellent work. Don went above and beyond to fix an icemaker in an almost 20 year old refrigerator. He wasn't able to find an exact replacement so he actually repaired the old one. Its hard to find people with the patience and knowledge to do more than just plug in a replacement. This is the 3rd appliance this company has repaired and they have always been prompt, efficient and do excellent work. Highly recommended.

Service tech was on time ,friendly and efficient. Repairs were completed very quickly, cleanup was done and area around washer was inspected. Very happy with the level of knowledge and work that was performed.

I have used A. DiChristopher's twice already and will definitely use them again. They are a family-run business and everyone involved, from phone call to service call, is friendly, professional and goes out of their way to resolve the issue (including arranging an urgent visit when I had a vomiting baby and broken washing machine!). I was able to send them pictures of my broken appliances on both occasions so they could bring the correct parts on the first visit. The service was prompt and well-done and I gladly recommend them.

Anthony was prompt, well dressed, courteous, and completely competent. He fixed the problem quickly. He even made a special trip to get the part needed and came back within a half hour. We have used this company four times and all four times were as good as appliance repair can get. Do not call anyone else.

Excellent, will definitely use them again

Everything went great from my original call to when Don left. He spent the time to find the problem sensors that were causing the fridge to ice up and saved us the money to replace ice maker. We now have a large appliance repair service we trust going forward.

Anthony quickly diagnosed and repaired / replaced center shaft and bearings. We would absolutely recommend him and use them again.

Said we need a plumber. It was a water pressure issue

I don't often write reviews, but these people deserve one written about them. First I must tell you that I am anxious when I need repairs done in my house. You never know who will show up at your door and what the end result will be. This was NOT the case when I randomly called A DiChristopher appliance repair (based on all their wonderful reviews on Angie's List. When I called them, a woman by the name of Allison answered my call and was polite, professional, and very knowledgeable. She subsequently arranged for the service tecnician to be at my home two days later. A gentleman by the name of Don called me that morning to provide me with a two hour window of when he would arrive. He subsequently called 10 minutes before arriving to keep me abreast. Don was professional, careful, knowledgeable and kept everything neat and clean while he worked. He did his job quickly, yet thoroughly. No costly additions or surprises... just great service. I was impressed by the entire process of hiring this company from beginning to end. Thanks Allison and Don for making this an unexpected enjoyable experience.

He recommended that after a thorough checking of the washer, It will be more expensive to fix it than buying a new one. Also, he recommended some names that would be easy to fix. I appreciated that he was honest and did not try to do a unnecessary repair. He is always my go to appliance repair man.

Don came out and told us that our ice maker on our 18 month old Samsung refrigerator needed to be replaced. I had already done the research to find how faulty this icemaker was and how EVERYONE has problems with it. He ordered a new ice maker and as soon as it was in, came out and had it installed in less than 30 minutes. He was prompt, professional, and highly knowledgeable about appliance repair.

Don arrived just when he said he would. After determining why the ice chute door wouldn't work, he replaced the solenoid, we cleaned all the removable parts (I scrubbed while he replaced parts), then he found my water supply line was in bad shape and replaced that. After a last minute request on my part, he cleaned the condenser coils. Don also checked my washing machine (which "walks" a lot) and determined that it was balanced and working properly and did not need any repair work ... just need to balance the loads better. Didn't try to talk me into anything I didn't need. I would definitely hire him again.
