Arrived earlier than scheduled, completed work , cleaned up well and was gone in less than two hours. We were well satisfied with the job.

We have a few dark spots in our house and were looking for economical options to bring in natural light. Nick from Solar Guys was very helpful educating us on the product and providing recommendations for the sizing and placement of new solar tube type skylights. It took a few days to get things scheduled, because of the logistics of performing the install on our 20' ceilings. But once that was sorted out, the actual install work was completed quickly and cleanly. We're very happy with the outcome and will definitely call The Solar Guys again.

Company was responsive. I did wait a bit after the initial contact before making a final decision. There was no pressure and when I advised that a decision would not be right away, the response was along lines of "no problem. we're here when you're ready." Company communicated well regarding installation date/time. Installer took care during installation and communication during the project was easy, clear and professional. While I didn't time the process, all work was done in under 3 hours -- and that included a trip back to the attic to put the insulation back in place. I can't think of a single step that was missed Of course, the real proof is long range durability and no leaks when it rains but there is no reason to expect any problems. The project accomplished the goal of brightening the kitchen and the immediate area (open concept house). My wife has already mentioned that she keeps thinking she should turn the lights off. The design of the house is such that the kitchen receives little natural light so the solar tubes have made a major improvement. As solar is a renewable energy source, the HOA could not prohibit or take actions that have the effect of prohibiting this solar device on the house (same section of statute that applies to solar panels for heating water and/or pools). Am very pleased with the results, with the quality of the product and with the company.

worker were very professional,. Very kind in explanation of work to be performed, cleaned up after work, covered all areaswhere dust or debris may fall. In and out of house in about two hours. The work turned out very good, and allowed room to be much brighter in the daytime, and also on full moon evenings.

I did research before hand. I knew someone who had solar tubes installed by the Solar Guys several years ago and they were happy. I checked the Voice of the Villages to make sure that more recent customers were still happy. Lastly, I visited their booth at the Market of Marion on January 20. The saleman, Barry, was very helpful in deciding what size tubes to purcahse and which diffusers to choose. The Solar Guys main office called on January 21 to schedule the installation on January 28. On January 28, Rob Bowers called prior to coming to my home. Rob arrived at 10:40 AM. He inspected the ceiling of my lving room and bathrooms to determine if the solar tubes could be installed where I wanted them. He went into the attic space between the roof and ceiling. He inserted a wire through the ceiling to show where the tube could be located and asked if the location was okay. Before Rob began work, he laid outdrop clothes to catch any dust or debris from his work. He was finished by 2:00 PM. He asked me to inspect his work, which I did, and asked if it was okay. The work area was left spotless and there was no dust on my furniture or carpet. The solar tubes looked great. Rob Bowers was very polite and professional. If I need additional solar tubes or window film installed, I will definitely use the Solar Guys. They deserve their great reputation.

They were very good to work with overall! One technician showed up and he was quick. I love all of the light the new skylights bring in.

The technician was punctual and very professional. He explained what the functions of the tube light and attic fan does.The entire job took about one hour. He also cleanup any mess made the job was completed.

Went very well. On time and did exactly what they said they were going to do. In addition, the installer noticed that the exhaust in one of the bathrooms was not routed to the outside of the house and fixed it while he was installing one of the solar tubes.

I was pleased with the speed of the service and the professionalism.

Called Solar Guy and requested a price for lighting a small dinette area. Kirk explained the size of lights available, prices, and gave me a thorough review of how the solar mechanism works. I was particulary concerned about the heat index during the day. Negligible - None! Just beautiful natural light minus nasty UV rays. We arranged a date and time almost immediately, the tech, Tim, arrived on time and the installation went quickly and smoothly. I was so impressed with the results I call an requested another smaller light for a dismal bathroom the very next week.. Again, smooth job, no clean up, and, price was exactly as promised by Kirk. I can now eat, read, and sew by natural light in the dinette. What a happy homemaker. I totally recommend the Solar Guys!

He came over and securely measured and made sure where we wanted to have them . Then he went up in the attic and based on what the house structure would best handle and what location (esp on the fans) would be most obscure from the street, then advised us all the way. We arrived at the final placement mutually with his guidance and then he went to work. Its been almost a year. We got a tax savings, there has been glorious light without adding extra heat to the house, and no leaks. It makes a finishing touch to our home and brightens up two darker rooms. We are very satisfied. This work took him about 3 hrs max. He even gave us wise counsel on an older skylight in the house. He could have made more money off of us, but he was very honest so we opted to leave the bathroom skylight alone. We appreciated his wisdom and professionalism.

Tim showed up 2 minutes before the scheduled time. Had everything with him that he would need. Installed 2 10" solar tubes and 1 14". Took 4 hours as he stated it would. Cleaned everything as he went and left nothing behind. Impressive.

This is a very professional, caring company of service-oriented technicians who follow up on warrantied calls. I am very satisfied that they went the extra mile to caulk a vent not even their original work.

They are excellent. I would not use them again in the future because their prices are a little high.

The installer came to my home on time and walked me through what he was going to do. I told him where I wanted the solatubes installed and he started his work on the roof. Once he came inside to complete the install he laid down clothes and cleaned up after himself.
