She was an excellent professional. She was fast, efficient and high quality.

Peacelady painting (owner Vic) did such a beautiful job at painting the inside of my home! I had been looking for a good housepainter and 4 different companies flaked out on me before I found Peacelady (thank goodness). VIc is a sweet and considerate person. She always shows up when she says she is and does a great job in a very timely manner. She even stripped wall paper for us! And she always cleans up so nice at the end of the day. She is one of the best contractor's I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She is honest and cares about her client's so much. She's also great with pets and is very patient! I would recommend Peacelady for all of your painting needs. Why settle for less when you can get the BEST!!!! Peacelady painting is the VERY best! I would have Vic back anytime! She made my home so beautiful!! She's amazing!!!!

She arrived on time. We received a few estimates and hers was the most reasonable. She also was the most personable. The house purchase fell through but I will absolutely call Victoria if I need future painting on whatever house we do end up with. She was great!

Victoria did a wonderful job. She was very quick too! The job would've taken me weeks to complete, but she finished in two days. She turned my bedroom in to a peaceful sanctuary. When she finished the job early, she knocked the price down, which I thought was fair, but the nice part is that she was honest about this upfront and then followed through. My bedroom is beautiful and plan to have her back for more work. Thank you, Peace Lady!

Had a few glitches with arrival times to start job and a few days were short due to late arrival times. Very good about covering furniture and floors. Worked on her own without assistance.

Can I give her an A+? Victoria has not completed the painting job yet, but I wanted to write a review of her PROFESSIONALISM so far. I will review the work once it is completed. Over the last six months, I've met a lot of contractors through Angie's List and have found all of them are not of the same caliber. I've even been taken advantage of by a handyman I had a "feeling" about. In the future, I will go with my gut. Everything I've experienced from Victoria is TOP NOTCH. She was PROFESSIONAL and KIND. She drove an hour to give me an estimate on painting several rooms knowing I didn't know how much work I was going to ask her to complete right now. We walked through my house and talked about what I wanted to have done. She took notes and gave me some GREAT IDEAS about each room. She told me about the process in which the different jobs would take. I had a leaky roof this last winter, and she explained how it would need to be repaired and painted so the stain won't bleed through. I love learning new things, and Victoria SHARED HER KNOWLEDGE with me. Victoria and I chatted throughout her visit, and she made me feel like more than just a client. She's quite personable and funny too. I could tell why her business is called "Peace Lady." Her personality is WARM AND CARING, someone I would welcome into my home. Sometimes I get nervous about having contractors in the house, so I keep my dogs close by because these people are virtual strangers, but I felt COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE with Victoria. When I told Victoria my husband passed away less than a year ago, she offered me a SINGLE MOM DISCOUNT. She didn't need to do that, but she decided since she offers a DISCOUNT TO SENIORS, she wanted to extend it to single moms too. She really CARES about her customers. When Victoria and I were talking about the estimate, I let her know I wasn't sure how much I'd be able to afford to have done all at once, so I asked her if she could split the estimate in two (I'm looking to have nine rooms painted). She divided up the work so each half was roughly the same price. I knew it would be pricey and that I might not be able to have four rooms painted at once, but Victoria worked with me on this. She sent me breakdowns of each room and the individual costs of different sections of each room, so I could understand her PRICING PROCESS. It ended up that she is only going to paint one room, the most complex room, right now and then come back a few times to complete the work. In a few weeks Victoria is driving and hour to paint my bedroom, and I am VERY MUCH LOOKING FORWARD to having her complete the work. I know she's going to do a GREAT JOB!

I asked for an estimate, she told me she would come over and do that. But then called later and wanted me to take photos of the job instead so she wouldn't have to drive. As I am not capable of emailing photos I asked that she show up for the estimate. She arrived 3 days later, and was an hour late ....for the appointment. Before ....even seeing the job she told me it wasn't worth her time coming over for the estimate. I then asked her to leave. She walked out insulting me on the way to the door.

Vic is the best painter I have ever worked with - and I used to work as a professional painter. She is professional, prompt, and her craftsmanship is absolutely meticulous. In addition, she is a pleasure to have around - very personable with a great sense of humor. She was even good with our two dogs. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Victoria arrived as promised, started right in without fanfare and worked steadily until the job was completed. She very carefully cut around the ornate fireplace and mantle, as well as the entry doors and picture window. Completed work was flawless, cleanup left the area as if she had never been there. Materials (paint,etc) were kept to the minimum required to produce a professional job, holding costs down. Can't miss with this pro!

This provider was excellent. She came on time for the job and finished when promised. She was so nice to squeeze me into her busy schedule and she did a great job! Would definitely use her again.

While I ended up going with someone else because of time constraints, I wanted to say that Vic came promptly to look at the house and give an estimate. Her price was competitive and she was willing to work within my budget. I liked the vibes I got and will contact her again for a job estimate.

Based on my interview, the quote and my conversation this outfit is excellent. I will use them and would recommend them. She knows paint, paint quality and does not cut corners. She also is quite well versed in high quality homes, older historic homes and I trust her. She does what she says and has follow through! Highly recommend! Reasonable for quality.

Very professional, friendly and obviously skilled in her trade, she did an excellent job - my husband and I couldn't find a flaw if we tried!

Victoria scheduled this job soon after we called. She completed the work on schedule. She takes pride in her work and we were pleased with the results. She kept us up to date on her progress during the job. The house looks good, the trim was painted even under the gutters. She even painted the bulkhead doors which were in real tough shape and we did not expect it when she quoted the job. We would recommend Victoria if you want a quality paint job.

Victoria came in while we were on vacation and performed her magic to our home. All we had to do was pull furniture away from the walls and Victoria did the rest. As stated above Victoria sanded, primed and painted all the woodwork as well as all the baseboard heaters, fireplace mantle and bay window with all the grates.When we returned home, we were extremely pleased with the workmanship that was performed. The house was clean looking and everything was returned to its places. We were pleasantly surprised by how much brighter the interior looked with everything painted. GREAT WORK, VICTORIA!!

Victoria did a great job on this project. She kept us appraised of the start date and was finished in a timely manner. Victoria painted our 72 foot long raised ranch by brush and spray painted the shutters. All work was neat, precise and she took the time to be certain that the little things were touched up. When she left we did not have to deal with any cleanup. We are very pleased with the job - and would recommend "The Peace Lady" to anyone. Our neighbors have commented on how nice the house looks.

Victoria Symonds aka "the Peacelady" is personable and skilled painting professional. She is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgable about her craft. I have had my cottage painted many times in the 45 years of ownership and Victoria is by far the best painter I have dealt with. She not only did the planned paint job but did extra service in fixing my window box bracing and renewing my threshold. I can highly recommend her and plan to use her services in the future.

Vic was quick to respond to our initial Angie's List request for an estimate. Her price was very competitive with the other estimates we received.. She was prompt, neat, and worked tirelessly during one of the hottest weeks of the year to complete the job on-time and as promised. She actually came in slightly under the original estimate! We will definitely recommend PeaceLady Painting and use her services again if the need arises.

Found Victoria/Peace Lady on Angie's List. From the first phone call to set up the estimate to the final day of work, Victoria was a pleasure to work with. We just purchased a home and the previous owner had the entire living room, including the trim, baseboards and heating vents painted the same color. Victoria listened to our ideas and presented some of her own as we decided on the paint colors. Due to other renovations taking place I had to reschedule, and Victoria immediately provided alternate dates. She completed the work on time, cleaned up each day and did a fantastic job. We will call on Victoria again as we continue with our renovations!
