I did use Angie's List to go out and find them. I liked their concept of the product. Most shutter companies run a bar down the center that controls the opening and closing and that bar is visible when you look at the shutters and it visually splits the shutter in half. This company uses a side bar instead of a front bar, which gives you a much cleaner look than other shutters. They are a local manufacturing company and they manufacture their own shutters and we like to support that. One of the co-owners is the person that came out and did the sales portion of the job, which involved doing the measuring and going back to create the estimate and getting it to us. What we didn't like is that, we were promised the work in eight weeks but it actually took ten weeks. We had to do following up because we had guests coming and we wanted the shutters fitted in time. The installation kept getting delayed a day here and a day there and we had to finally push really hard to get them in on day before our guests arrived. They finally installed the shutters and we found that three of them were bad. It is a wood product and they had warped and would not close properly. They came out to see if it could be fixed and then decided that they had to be replaced. They took them off and took them back and brought them back and put them on but it took several weeks to get the replacement and get them installed. Overall, I love the product and the looks that they have but the work didn't go flawlessly. They did follow up on all the problems and they did satisfy us, but it took a little bit of follow up and effort on our part to make that happen. I have just noticed that one of the shutters has some discoloration and I am debating whether to send it back to them to have it repainted.

Lisa came out to my house and we discussed shutters. She was very knowledgeable and had great ideas. Very good at explaining the company to me, invited me to go see manufacturing as well as their website. She took all the measurements and gave me a quote immediately. I knew it would take approx 8 to 10 weeks to manufacture........I was going out of town for a couple of weeks when they were to be delivered and they delivered and installed them prior to my trip. It was much appreciated by me. They look wonderful and I've received many compliments already. They also gave me extra rungs should I need to replace one in the future.

They did a good job. There was a miscommunication; for strength they put up a bar at the bottom and it was in the middle of the countertop and we didn’t want that; so they fixed it, and there was no problem.

From the start, Lisa and her team were very responsive, easy to work with, and flexible with my schedule. We took our time in ordering due to some other priorities and never felt pressured. We went to the workshop to see how the shutters were made and were impressed with the time and attention in the manufacturing process. We are very happy with the result. The installers were a father-and-son team (Rick and Bob) and they were great ... friendly, professional, and they took their time in doing the work so that it was right. I would recommend West Coast Shutters and would definitely use them again.

I had reviewed the company on Angies list prior to emailing them. I visited the showroom so I could see the options and how the shutters operated first hand. I was given a tour and showed how they were built from start to finish. I set up a date for the owner to come to my home. She measured the area and talked about the shutters. I gave her a swatch of my custom color. Deposit was given. About 10 weeks later I received a message letting me know that my shutters were ready we set up an install date within the week. Two guys came out and installed the shutters. The color was perfect, The guys did a great job. They gave me extra slats and and showed me how to replace them if needed. I am so glad not to have to deal with curtains ever again.

The service, pricing, quality of shutters, and especially the quality of the installation was outstanding. We were SO glad we went with wood instead of plastic...huge diference. This was their recommendation, and was nt much of a diference with quotes we received for plastic shutters. The whole job came out way better than expected.

Perfect. The most professional home improvement/decorating experience we have ever had. The owners are honest, professional, and exceptionally friendly and customer oriented. Toured the factory and showroom, owner measured openings, waited roughly five weeks for shutters to be manufactured, we requested installation a few days earlier than the company had us scheduled and West Coast Shutters moved us ahead. Installation team was neat and completed a lot of work perfectly.

We called Lisa, ( Sales Rep / Owner) after we experienced a lengthy delay with an order placed with another Blind company in the area. She came out that very day to take measurements, and after visiting the show room we placed the order the following day. The shutters were delivered as promised. The shutters are manufactured locally, Lisa gave us a tour of the factory which was not only impressive but also confirmed that they produce a high-quality product. The company is family owned and operated and they did an outstanding job. The installers were skilled, polite and cleaned up when finished. We are thrilled with the results.

Lisa was great with suggestions for windows. Rick was wonderful with installation. Overall, a very good job. Price was lower than another company's estimate the quality with West coast was higher. Definitely the best buy.

This is the second time we have dealt with West Coast. They offer a tour of their factory in St. Petersburg and it is a total hassle-free experience. Their service is absolutely the best.

DREW WAS VERY HELPFUL ON THE PHONE WHEN PLACING MY DEPOSIT AND SCHEDULING THE INSTALLATION. THE CREW IN THE SHOP DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB OF BUILDING THE SHUTTERS. SCOTT, KEVIN AND DEVON DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF INSTALLING THE SHUTTERS. THEY WERE PROMPT, CLEAN, FRIENDLY AND CONSCIENTIOUS. THEY MADE SURE THAT EVERYTHING LOOKED PERFECT BEFORE THEY LEFT. WE WILL USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! START TO FINISH THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL, AND EXPERTS AT CREATING A QUALITY PRODUCT.
