Very well. The owner gave us some extra pieces and described how to install them. They also told us that they would come and repair some of the slats when we were ready for them to do so. They are a very honest and reputable, local company! They made and installed our shutters eight years ago and they did an outstanding job!

I was extremely impressed with every part of this transaction. Everyone that I spoke with was professional and obviously concerned with the quality of the product and the transaction starting with the owner and the installers. The shutters are exactly what I expected and the attention to detail is something that is not found with most companies today.

High quality work, very professionally handled, and always a pleasure to deal with. The installer explained how to use and care for my shutters, especially those on the French door leading to the lanai explaining not to grab the shutter instead of the door handle when opening/closing the door. In addition, some replacement slats were provided in the event one may be needed in the future.

The shutters look nice in the bedroom. They keep out the light and open easily for light when needed. They are easy to dust and keep clean.

Rep came by and reviewed situation. Designs for 3 x 4 interior window offered and finalized. Put 50% down. Several weeks to build shutters. Installed professionally.

This piece was installed on an interior location. New employees arrived, were timely and efficient. No surprises.

Excellent experience! The shutters are hand designed and time frame was exactly as promised and well worth the wait. I highly recommend them even thought they may take longer than commercial places. Trust me when I say it's worth the extra weeks to get a quality hand designed product.

This is the second time we have used West Coast - the product is beautiful, the installation is done by their own crew who make sure its done quickly and properly, they leave extra slates and paint - everything is made in their plant and painted with UV protective paint. They look great and function well. From my experience pricing is fair and you get what you pay for.

We are so happy with our new plantation shutters. What a beautiful enhancement to our 90 year old home. Our initial estimate and order was placed in late September with the install tentatively scheduled for mid January. This was perfect since the windows were being replaced in mid November. They provided us with temporary window coverings so I could remove all the old blinds etc. Lisa came back to re-measure after the windows were installed to note any minor modifications none of which affected the estimate. Shutter construction began in December with the builders dropping by to make precise measurements on a couple of tricky spots, especially two windows that met at a corner. They were ready to install just before Christmas, almost a month ahead of schedule. We had to delay a few days as we were not available. Installers arrived promptly the morning of Dec. 28th and the job was done and cleaned up just after noon. The shutters all fit perfectly, the quality and workmanship is excellent from build through installation. Also left us with extra shutter slats and touch up paint in case of any future accidental damage. If you are ever looking for shutters or other wood trim work you need to visit them at their mill to see what they do and how they do it. Very nice people that take pride in their work.

This is a local company owned by a couple. She makes the calls and estimates, she is pleasant, knowledgeable, prompt and communicates well. He over sees the construction and installation. He is very friendly, efficient, prompt and an expert at what he does. Both take great pride in their product. They want the customer to be well served and satisfied. Excellent service & product!

Estimate very informative, product really beautiful and high quality. They make them custom and unfortunately they got behind. They told me it would be 10 to 12 weeks but it was 15 weeks and it was a little frustrating waiting the 10 to 12 weeks but when it went past that you get anxious. Installation was very well done and much quicker than I expected. Finished product is amazing, tThey really produce a nice product.

As a residential general contractor I've used West Coast for all of my trim needs, base crown, casing, specialty trim. They provide a superior product at a lower cost than the "big box" stores. They have always been able to meet my timelines also. As a general rule as a contractor I shy away from referring any other business, the fear being that the client won't be served well and I will be lumped into the poor product or performance. I have no hesitation in referring my clients to West Coast for their shutters, I see the quality product being built and know that Joe stands 100% behind his service. I will go nowhere else for my trim.

Met with the Owner at the job site in Sun City Center, 4 months ahead of intstallation and she demostrated some neat features of the shutters that we were unaware of, and provided an estimate. We ordered these 30 to 45 days ahead of our move and provided the shades of paint that we wanted in each room. About a week ahead of the installation they confirmed the date and time. On the installation day, they arrived on time, installed the shutters, demonstrated the correct way to open them, and left some spare slats and touch-up paint. The were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone that would like a great shutter installed correctly.

They made and installed plantation shutters on 5 windows, 2 sliders and one pool door. The manufacture time seems excessive but the finished product (finally) is positively awesome. Lisa communicated with us and explained the delay, but it still seemed to take a long time. The installers were punctual and very pleasant and cleaned the work area.

We found this company on Angies List. The shutter took about 11 weeks vs 9 to arrive, had an issue that slowed production, but the shutter is beautiful, fits perfectly. Exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely hire them for additional projects. Great work! Thanks!

If only all home improvements could SO EASY. Working with Lisa, Margaret and their crew was a great. From start to finish West Coast Shutters made my shutter buying expereince seamless. I love my shutters! And would recommend them to anyone!!

The owner, Lisa was awesome. She worked with our General contractor to get accurate measurements and coordinated a delivery date that was within a small window over the Thanksgiving weekend...they installed on black Friday.not only was Lisa professional and easy to work with by phone and email, but her installers were equally as professional. they were a family run team ( father & 2 adults sons) who worked efficiently and maintained a clean environment. Bottom line, we are extremely pleased with the end product.

For the estimate the sales rep showed up on time, was very knowledgable and had samples for me to look at. During the installation a crew of 3 showed up on time and installed the shutters in about 2 hours. When they were finished the foreman answered all my questions, they cleaned up after themselves and left me with several stained and white louvers in case I need to repair them in the future. He also left me with stain and white paint. I would highly recommend having them do the installation because it was a much bigger job then I expected. In order to stain the shutters to match the cabinets I had to drop off a sample. They offered to pick it up, but I wanted to tour their factory. If you like watching shows on the Learning Channel then I would recommend the tour because it was interesting to see all the work that goes into making shutters. Overall, I am very pleased with my new shutters. The stain is a perfect match to my cabinets and I have no complaints. I could have found cheaper shutters, but I doubt the quality would of been the same. I plan on using West Coast shutters again when I finish remodeling my master bedroom.
