Pool Pros Of Pasco

Pool repair was started on 4/8/16 with draining the pool. Then a crew arrived to begin prepping the pool by chipping away an old resurfacing job. We were told this was extensive due to a poor job that was done in the past. The crew left telling us that the pool needed several more days to drain and then a single man was sent 4 days later to finish the prepping work. He could not accomplish the job alone so late in the afternoon he called a friend of his to come and assist him. The prep work consisted of chipping and sawing away all the old concrete including around the skimmer mouth. After that a crew arrived to apply a base coat and then a few days later another crew was sent to apply the resurfacing. Upon completion water was then added to fill the pool. Within a few days we noticed the pool was losing water. We contacted Pool Pros and they said it was not their responsibility. They gave us the name of a leak detection company that they said we would have to pay for. Pool Pros does not want to honor their responsibility to fix a leak that was caused by their work crew. We called a leak detection company which came and found 2 leaks which they repaired for us at a cost of $265.00. We tried to get Pool Pros to reimburse us for the leaks which were caused by their crew using saws and chisels and they have refused.

Made an appointment for an estimate for repairs and upgrades on an old pool. So, I make it my business to be available on a day in mid week. A woman shows up. Seems nice enough. She does some measurements. We chat about the options for about 20 minutes. Finally she says she'll get back to me in a few days with an estimate as discussed. Never hear from her again. No email. No telephone calls. Nada. So I call her up a couple of weeks later. "What's up with the estimate?" She seems puzzled.. So am I. She then tells me she gave all the info to "Charlie" So now it's: Charlie will send me the info. Never heard from Charlie either. I don't quite know what to say other than it seems like a bizarre way to run your company. If someone just doesn't want the job, I have no problem with that. Just let me know and I'll call someone else. UPDATE: Finally got the estimate from Charlie a week after the visit. Am reconsidering If I end up going with these guys, will post the final results.

Everything went very well. They were very professional and kept us informed all the way thru the whole project and finished as planned. At the end there were a couple of things that we were not happy with and they took care of them like professionals until we were completely happy. Our pool looks amazing and we are very happy with the way everything came out. I will definitely use them again. I would and have been recommending them to my neighbors.

Work was done within the time frame promised. Workers were employees of the contractor so there was direct supervision and one of the crew was apparently the foreman who was with the work for the entire time. Start to finish for all components was about three weeks. This included a complete resurface of the pool, replacement of all tile in the pool and the installation of a new facing for a water feature. It also included installation of brick pavers on the lanai and new cap tiles for the pool. The pavers were done out onto the entrance step on both sides of the pool and the screen doors were cut and reassembled consistent with the new entrance height. Workmen cleaned up when finished, although there was an amazing amount of dust during construction, the area was left clean and useable. We have been vey satisfied with the work. We plan to use the same company to do an outdoor kitchen for us.

The process was fine but we have yet to receive a proposal? Raises concerns that execution would also be problematic.

Scheduled date to install for several weeks out. Due to schedule change they were able to move up work by 2 weeks which was great. There was a mix up on the color of tile, our copy had 2 colors and when she copied contract she forgot one of the colors. Pool Pros corrected the problem by having new shipment sent out a few days later. Workers came out and did work as expected and work was completed by the date agreed upon. Pool and surrounding area look beautiful and except for a few hiccups very satisfied with the results.

Any interaction I have had with Pool Pros of Pasco has been very good. They are very professional and knowledgable. I had issue with me previous pool services provider, but since I transitioned to their services, I have not had any issues. I plan on using them for many years to come.

Pool pros came out unannounced and one hour later the union was broken and water was gushing out of the chlorinator. We were not home. Luckily my neighbor heard the commotion and shut it off. I recommend you stay away from these folks....

Charles made 3 service calls. There were pop up valves in the pool floor that were not retracting and the pop up controller had stopped working. On the first visit he removed and inspected all the pop up valves and determined they were damaged most likely from improper chemical application over a long period of time by the previous owner. He hoped that the pop up valve replacement would solve the controller problem, but ordered a replacement gear set for the controller in case it was needed. He returned when he received the pop ups and gear set. When he installed the pop ups the controller still did not function, so he disassembled the controller and discovered that the gear set was OK but there was a different broken part. He told me that this part should never break, and since the controller was only 1 year old, he interceded with the manufacturer on my behalf and had them replace that part at no cost to me. I was surprised and pleased since I had no receipt for the purchase of the controller. Charles then returned a 3rd time to replace the broken controller part. For all that work Pool Pros charged me for one service call and the cost of the replacement pop up valves. Charles also gave me some advice on the best settings for my cleaning system and has already responded to a follow up question I had after the work was completed. The system is working much better than it did in the previous 3 years that we have owned the home!

We recently moved into a new home and noticed that the pool was showing some concrete on the surface so we started researching companies to resurface the pool on Angies list. We interviewed and got quotes from 5 companies and after talking with all of them we found that Charles at Pool Pros was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable on the whole process. This being our first inground pool we gave Charles an abundance of questions on the surface, the time it takes for each layer to dry, construction materials, pool makeup and design, heating options, etc. Charles was quick to give us well informed answers on all the questions we asked. We also decided to have them install a bench area at the deep end of our pool to replace the ugly ladder that was there. Pool Pros prices were very competitive with the other companies and we were happy to see that they pulled all of the proper permits to make sure it was done right, which including having an inspector come out 3 times to ensure everything was to code and correct. The work that they did started quickly and some of the times we did not even know they were there, to a point, I mean you do have your entire pool tore apart so you do notice but I never felt that it was intrusive or bothersome like some construction projects. Most times they came in, did the job an left without us knowing. They also made sure to check the entire pool for hollow places in the concrete and made sure to remove them all. Charles talked with us often to make sure we were all on the same page and he was giving us exactly what we wanted. The job itself took a little longer than expected because of the colder weather, the bench needed extra time to dry to ensure it was solid before adding the surfacing. The surfacing went as smooth as everything else, they came in, surfaced it and were gone, we were able to place new tiles on the step surfaces also, a nice touch. After the pool was dry and filled, Charles and Sarah went over all of the post-surfacing info and what the chemicals need to be and explained why and included a sheet to reference. They also installed the heater and took the old one away for us, including installing and training us how to use it. Charles also identified a leaking valve for us and replaced it along with all the fittings and piping. Charles and Sarah from Pool Pros of Pasco were a joy to work with, knowledgeable, easy to talk with and were quick to make sure everything was great with us. They are now my go to pool people and I will have no hesitation in recommending them to ALL of my friends and family. I love that my pool looks fantastic and I know that the work was done correctly.

i have hired pool pro's of pasco to maintain my pool for me on a monthly basis and they have also done some pool maintenance for as well. I fined them very responsive and reliable and plan on having them do additional work as needed.

The crews were friendly, professional, and hard-working. Our main contacts, Charlie and Sarah, were friendly, knowledgeable, quick to respond, and very helpful. All work was completed in a timely, professional manner. We never felt pressured to do more than we were comfortable with, and they didn't "nickel and dime" us with every little service (such as adjusting the lanai doors to compensate for the new paver height). Our pool and lanai have never looked better! We have been so happy with the whole process, we have even asked for estimates on laying pavers around the outside of our lanai and house! I am very comfortable HIGHLY recommending this company!

We had some other companies out to provide us with estimates. We chose Pool Pros of Pasco as spent more time with us during the estimate and provided more samples than the other companies had. They were also well rated on Angie’s’ List and they offered the best price for what we got. They added value to what we thought we could get for the price. They were able to start the job within about three weeks after the initial consult. They then completed the job in about three weeks. They were responsive and would come out and check on the work and fix anything if needed. For the nature of this job, it is messy and they were good about the clean-up. Our experience with them turned out well and we have already recommended them to others.

We initially hired the company after finding them on Angie’s List. We have been using them for about one year. Their prices and people are all good. They charge monthly rates and they come twice each month. Everything has gone really well with them. We will still continue to use their service and would recommend them to others.

I initially contacted them after finding the company on Angie’s List. They came out to provide the quote and they seemed to be very professional and nice. The price was comparable to other estimates I had received. For the job, they arrived late in the afternoon when the sun was full. They spent about an hour to an hour and a half completing the work. The stone around the perimeter of the pool had to be sealed by hand and it looks good. However, the rest of the area they completed by spray was not done so well. In my estimation, more product was put down consistently by hand than was done by the spraying. The majority of the rest of the deck looks dull compared to the perimeter of the pool that was done by hand. This response was given based on Angie's List calling the customer.

I have been using them for almost nine months and I have been very pleased. I was not happy with the previous pool company I was using. They ignored my requests for improvement and contacted Pool Pros of Pasco on Angie’s List. They were able to come out, give me an estimate quickly, and start services within a week. They are very accessible and responsive. The technicians have been great! Overall, my experience with them has been fine.

This pool was at a home we only visited on occasion while it was for sale. We were not paying attention to the pool as it was for a short sale. The pool was very dirty and full of green algae. We later learned we needed the work done quickly for the inspection on the sale of the home. They were able to come out the next morning to look at the job after calling that evening. They were very professional. When they came out, they called first to let me know the estimate. They provided the supplies and brought their own vacuum as we did not have one at the home. They even pointed out a part on the filter cap that was causing the water to not stay clean. They replaced it for just the cost of part. I was not on site for the job. They kept in great communication and even made payment easy by phone. The job took a couple of days and everything turned out great! Even my real estate agent agreed that the work was nicely done. It was a good experience!

This company is the best! I got five total estimates and as far as knowledge, price and professionalism this company is the best. I am now enjoying my pool for the first time in several years and I have no regrets!

Our 7000 gallon pool marcite finish was stained/pitted, the waterline tile was ugly, and the filter had a hole in it. Received 3 estimates for stonescape pebble finish and fiberglassing. Chose Pool Pros Of Pasco and the pebble finish. One of the estimates for fiberglassing was lower but we were not comfortable with that as an aesthetic or long term solution. Sarah from the office was great to deal with as were all the techs. They were professional and informative and cleaned up as they went along. Sarah checked the work after each work day. We had a Hayward Blue Essence Salt Chlorine Generator and a Proclean Cartridge Filter installed. The pool looks great now and we're very pleased.

The service has been pretty good. We've have a few little flubs, but they have done it right in the end. After we had our patio and the screen pressure washed, there was a problem with our jets. So we called them out here and it probably took about three people, our regular pool guy, some technician and a then a leak detector guy to come out. We finally got to the bottom of it that it was the filter that had gone bad. We talked to them about it and eventually worked it all out, so that we didn't get charged for things that we really shouldn't have been charged for, that the first two people who came out should have known what the problem was. They are really good. Our pool is the cleanest that it has been as far as chemicals and cleanliness. We are really pleased with all of that. They are not always so prompt in getting things taken care of when you need it. We had a light bulb changed in the pool and that took me about a month and a half of scheduling to get it done. To me those are little office slobs, but our pool looks great and now it seems to be functioning right. We are still currently using them.
