Pool Pros Of Pasco

* Workers laid down pool deck pavers, proceeded to lay down a paver path to garage from a pool lanai door slab to a side garage door slab. Both ends of the path were to be centered where they met the door slabs - measurements were taken, string was laid down to mark the path direction, and the lawn was dug into accordingly. Where the workers started at the lanai, it was centered. As it came around the curve to the garage, it was off center. I notified the lead/ supervisor - he said "that is the curve and they have to follow the curve." THEY MADE THE CURVE !!! When the path met the garage door slab, it was off center, but the path had already been laid. * I went out to walk around the house at one point, and found one of the workers urinating in my air conditioner unit by the garage door slab. When I told the lead/supervisor, they offered a weak apology and brushed it off. * Workers covered up a couple of sprinkler heads with morter-sand mix and moved cement sprinkler protectoin rings. ..Had to hunt for sprinkler heads and have worker come back to clean them and re-do the morter sand mix around the protection rings. ..Had to also finish incomplete morter-sand border on sides of path between garage and lanai. * Screen door latch in lanai did not line up with screen door after door door was refitted for paver hight. Door did not close completely afterwards by itself. You had to force the door up a little to get it to latch. The workers had done this work when I was home, but in another part of the house. They did not knock on my house door nor ring the doorbell to notify me they were there so I could check their work. I found out when I used the door later. They had to be called back to fix it. * Pneumatic Door Closer for screen lanai door does not work properly anymore. Used to let door close slowly without slamming. After door was remounted, door slams without slowing down. Paint on the door closer appears to have been wiped off with some sort of cleaner (you can see almost all the metal o it), or it is not the original door closer. Will have to have fixed or replace. * Workers ruined hose connection fitting on lanai. Had to replace. * Missing water hose spray nozzles on lanai table when work was finished. Have to replace. * Poked out screen section on lanai - section flapping in wind. I had to pay screen repairman to replace screen panel. * Pool Skimmer Deck Ring (for pool vacuum) that they installed is too small. Cannot get vacuum hose adapter plate in. The well for the adapter is wider than the ring. They used plaster to nattow the opening to match the ring, so they new it was not the right size - Why didn't they consult me before doing this ??? Will have to fix or get new vacuum hose adapter. * 3 pavers have a deteriorating 'pock mark' (pitted hole) in the surface, the size of marbles. Sarah (Company President) said she could not get replacements. I had their people take back approx. 1/2 palate of leftover pavers, but she said they do not keep them and offered no other solution. I checked with the company who is supposed to do the sealing of the pavers, and she suggested it might be possible to get a few from the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer myself, and they were happy to help, but they would have to be picked up. I notified the sealing company, and they picked them up and delivered them to the house How come Pool Pros could not do that? * The original Pool Pros sales rep (Charles) never showed up nor contacted me to check how things were. I had told Sarah about the items above except for the pool deck ring. I just found that and do NOT want to call them back at this point.

It was excellent. They had very good quality work and knows what he is doing.

professional work, happy with the job on the bricks and with the granite that they put on the harts. the person was very nice, accommodating listened to what i have to say, and did a wonderful job. I was very happy, just like a Christmas present, I would hire them again to revitalize my pool.

Pool Pros offered the best value by far over the many quotes that we received when looking for a contractor. The quality of the work performed is excellent and the remodel turned out better than we could have ever expected. Repairman had years of experience and showed me where problem occurred.

Their service started off good and then it was terrible. They would completely miss servicing the pool, that's why I got rid of them. I gave them my three chances then terminated service due to lack of performance. They didn't show up.

Never went they are not timely and do not communicate. Angies list needs to do some research on them, I believed angies list would keep me form companies such as this an well it failed miserably.

Never on time. Almost impossible to contact on the phone. Terrible communication. Finished job is nice but went through **** to get it done.

I would highly recommend Pool Pros of Pasco! We had 6 other companies provide us with estimates. Pool Pros was one of the friendliest and most reasonable for the estimate to have our pool resurfaced. Charlie was very presentable and showed us different pool samples - we decided to go with the Pebbletec Mini finish and wow did it turn out to be beautiful! The whole team was great and any questions we had they would explain the process and how long it would take. Sarah was very informative and kept us up to date when they would start the pool refinish as the tile we ordered was slightly backordered at the manufacture. We also had purchased an LED light for the pool elsewhere and they installed it with a new outside pool ring which Pool Pros was able to find as the one in our pool was very dated and was an older model. The total pool resurface and tile replacement took about 1 week. We were worried about the start up for taking care of the chemicals but it was very easy to maintain myself and easy to brush the pool every day. Cathy and Trent were great at explaining on how to maintain the pool and showed me the type of brush to purchase for the special finish. The whole team is very hardworking , Marcel did the tile work in our pool and he took his time placing the tile to see what flowed the best with each tile placed. This company actually grinds the old tile off and replaces it with the new tile - some other companies will just replace the tile right over the existing tile in your pool. We would recommend anyone looking to have their pool resurfaced to contact Pools Pros and don't waste your time contacting other pool companies!

Pool Pros were great, they were on time and knowledgeable. They gave us several options for resurfacing and pool heaters. We got our entire 15x30 pool resurfaced and had a bench put into the deep end to replace a worn out ladder. They tied the bench directly into the pool after removing all the old coating, which we think had been there since the 80s. They installed new tiles on the steps and bench, and even had some put into the bottom of the pool to tie it all together. We also got a pool heater installed by them and it has been great. We had one issue with the heater last year and Pool Pros were quick to help out and made sure we were happy. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get some pool work done, they were great. It was good. I liked the detailed quotes, very precise as to what you will or will not get for the service. Prompt. High quality. I wouldn’t change anything. It took about a week and then it takes 3 weeks for the pool to cure, so you are about 30 days, start to finish.

Great company, quality work and done quickly. Responded quickly to ask questions and concerns and I recommended them to another buddy of mine who also had a new pool built. After hearing and reading about so many horror stories with pool companies, we weren't sure what we were going to get, but Sarah and Charles were a pleasure to work with. Pool pros put in a new pool and spa for us. They did an amazing job and we were very happy with their service !

They were fine. They just weren't reliable in the sense that they did not stick to our schedule. They were supposed to show up every other week. They kept telling us that they're so shorthanded that I'd only get service once a month. I like that they were coming out every two weeks, because I don't need weekly pool service, but they weren't being consistent. There has been times when it's been three weeks since I had it done. I never knew which day they were going to come or which week they were going to come. I'd have to call and tell them they haven't sent anyone in three weeks. I like them very much but they just weren't consistent. We used them over a year ago, so I don't know if they've changed since then. The owner is nice and knowledgeable about pools.

The service was excellent. I am very happy with them. They are great. I love them.

I wanted to get a maintenance program because I was working and it was very difficult to keep it doing on my own plus I would go to Pinch-A-Penny and it wound up costing me whole bunch of money every time I went there for water check. So, I weighed the two options and Pool Pros is much easier. I do not have to worry about adding salt or anything. I do not have to clean and vacuum the pool. I do not have to clean the pool sides. I do not have to do any of that.

Pump was replaced with out a hitch, but afterward the spa seemed to not work correctly, no power from jets. Charlie was back to look at it and assured me pump was correct. I was skeptical, but at the same time, his explanation made sense. Well, he didn't leave it at that, he brought out a spa specialist, then the pump mfg rep who explained that the pump was correct, but the pool and spa were plumbed wrong from the install (different pool company), and that the pump that was originally used was pushing so hard against the small pipes that is why it was always having issues. Again, Pool Pros stayed on it, even though it wasn't their mess, ultimately getting different jets to resolve the problem. I can't say enough good about these folks, great job, great follow through, all on a problem left by someone else.

When I set out to find a pool builder, suitable to be trusted with my property, money and family, I heard horror stories about builders in the Pasco, Springhill, Hernando area. So I did extesive research and interviewed many builders. I myself come from a long background in the customer service industry and would never deal with anyone or any company that didn't share the same value. I told every builder that I met with how concerned I was with the stories I was told and I made it clear that if they tried to screw with me in any way, shape or form I would not stand by and take it. Charlie smiled and said Tim you have my word you will be happy with your pool when we are done if you decide to hire us. I shook his hand, told him he had my business and never looked back. Charlie went right to work getting permits, lining up all the workers and began digging right on time. When the steel was placed and formed it was done flawlessly. One individual did all the steel work. Evert step of the way Charlie was there and everything was on schedule and completed beautifully. My neighbors were blown away by how fast and without issues my pool was completed. I was told the norm in this area is sometimes 2 years and nothing but headaches. They had to take up my pavor drive way to dig my pool and its right against my house. Such a scary build that most contractors I showed it to didn't return my calls and walked away. They laid back my driveway and matched it up with my pool better than it was originally and didn't up charge me in any way. I changed the finish on them at the last minute to a Beautiful Black Onyx by Pebble Tec. I highly recommend it. I'm sure Charlie has pictures he can share with you. If you are considering a pool and you think you would be interested in using Pool Pros of Pasco, I would be happy to talk with you? I am still waiting for my screen guy to get his permit and that is separate from Pool Pro. Charlie still calls and checks in on me to make sure I am happy and see if there is anything he can do for me. This to me is above and beyond the call of duty and excellent customer relation. Last but not least, this is a family type business from what I gather and they do everything possible to do the best job they can for you. They are easy to communicate with and very responsive. I even asked them to do my moms pool in North Carolina because the pool builders up there are also terrible to deal with and take for ever to complete a pool and they gave her a referral.
