Description of Work: Signed up for the special to get new exhaust fan installed in bath. Special included fan/light combo. Bolt refused discount product even though I only wanted fan and the add said they would discount if you only needed fan. Owner was rude and acted as if he would make his $$ in numbers and not service. Rude and inconsiderate. Plenty of other good choices on Angie's List! Had great experience with Kopper Elect. Description of Work: I used their services for a Big deal for whole house surge protection.

Description of Work: Replaced 2 ballasts in kitchen.

Description of Work: Within 5 minutes of Lucas (Bolt Electric employee) arriving he had saved me $600. He fixed two of my fans and I returned the ones I had purchased. He installed 2 electrical outlets. He told me my smoke alarms were out of date (they are yellow in color and I didn't know that meant they could be defective). He will come back at a later date to install new ones for me. While installing the electrical outlets he noticed our fuse box had no surge protector. I called my friend and she told me she had 2 surge protectors(one for her fuse box and one outside for her air conditioner. The $1000 was the cost of labor and materials for installing the surge protectors. Please note he didn't FORCE me to purchase the surge protectors. I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to my friends. This was the FIRST time I've used Angie's List

Description of Work: I emailed Bolt Electric this morning after seeing their offer of $200.00's worth of services for $69.00. I received an email back within 30 mins from Patrick and ended up speaking to him on the phone as I had several questions. Patrick was very professional and efficient and advised that he could have Lucas (his guy in the field) at our home the same afternoon, we could have him quote the job we needed and if they were too high we would just pay a call out fee of $29.00 (instead of $59.00). Lucas arrived promptly as promised and we found him to be very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Whilst we believe their prices are a little higher than others we loved the fact that as soon as he quoted and we accepted the rate he got to work immediately, going to get his piping and all his supplies for our job that was a couple of landscaped lights outside over our pool. We went shopping for the lights and came back at the same time as Lucas and he completed the job within approx. 3 hour period... We were very happy with the results and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a speedy and professional job. If we have any further electical needs we would call them again without hesitation. A Big Thank You to Patrick and Lucas. Job Reqirement: Install 2 sets of outdoor lights onto pool area from Master Bedroom.
