They weren’t the cheapest around but the work quality was top notch. The project cost me more than i wanted in part because i didn’t think to ask for the toyota components when upgrading my electrical panel so i ended up getting a Tesla.

Jonathon came out and gave me an estimate on electrical work. He was the most forthcoming, honest, concerned, professional electrician I have seen in years! If other estimates come close to Bolt's I will certainly hire Bolt.

Our technician was very knowledgeable and personable. The repair was pricier than expected, but not outrageous. Our only drawback is that we had one outlet which worked prior to the repair which now does not, and it would cost us several hundred dollars to fix.

Joel did a great job. He was thorough and quick. I could tell from his work that he knew exactly what he was doing.

No show on two different occasions

Bolt Electric is a wonderful, professional, responsive, fair price company! You really couldn’t ask for a better company for electrical work! Called Bolt Electric number and thought I was calling a Clearwater location as I live in Seminole, FL, so I was surprised when I realized the electrician Zack had come from Sarasota, but I am within their service area. Zack said they work in Pinellas County all the time, very normal for them. Bolt Electric was great in all respect of scheduling and electrician was on time. Their pricing was better than the other two companies I requested quotes from and extreme professionalism when they came to my home. Greatly appreciated. Bolt was wonderful in sending electricians who put up with my year-old puppy who thought Zack was his new play toy and was very kind to put up with the puppy, while trying to preform electrical work. Only let puppy drive him crazy for a few minutes, but he was so kind to be so nice about Finn wanting to play with him. I don’t write a lot of reviews, because I don’t want to write something bad about a company. It seems so many want to hurt a company, when not necessary and I don’t write good ones unless company has been truly wonderful! Believe me Bolt Electric of Sarasota is a wonderful company because of their professionalism, expertise and great prices!

They were very nice people but I was not very comfortable with them.

A Bolt Electric Electrician came out and gave an estimate. Twice an appointment was scheduled and no one showed up.

They answered all my questions and we ended up using them too. They were great!

I had Dean come to my home for a free estimate on work that needed urgent repair. I then had him return to do the necessary electrical work. Dean was wonderful from the beginning to the end. He was very respectful and courteous and I am grateful to have chosen Bolt Electric as a service provider.

They did an excellent job. There were some issues to work out and Bolt did an excellent job of problem solving and ensuring we were happy. Thanks to all the Bolt employees who helped us.

Never use this company. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Buying a new home in Florida and needed some electrical repair work done. Katie at Bolt is simply amazing and really worked hard jumping thru hoops to help me get this work done and on my schedule! Really appreciate her. Although work isnt scheduled to be completed to June I am really pleased so far with the level of service offered. Thanks Katie

Stay far away from this company. I had three electricians come out to verify why i was not getting power to my pool pump. Bolt made claim that my electrical wire were of the wrong size which could cause a potential fire and most likely melted the line in the home. they stated it would cost just under 3 thousand to repair. Two other companies came out and verified that the wires were of correct size and major repairs were not needed. the problem actually ended up being the pool pump as their was a supply of electricity running to it. When i called bolt to let them know of the unethical behavior they denied that anyone in their company would do such a thing and got mad at me for calling them out. Clearly they encourage this type of behavior among their staff and will stand by it. stay clear

Nice guy, but clearly a salesman and nothing more. Sure, he may have been an electrician at one point in his career, but sales is his go-to now. With that being said, I cannot recommend anyone use this company based on pricing alone. Looking at the cost of parts, it was no more than $500 retail. I provided the outlets and the fixtures to be replaced. The job was estimated to take 2-3 hours to complete. That means $3500 was for labor or $1,167.00 per hour. That isn't fair.

Chuck was our electrician and he was very prompt, courteous and professional. He did a great job replacing an old breaker box and fixing some lighting issues in the switches. Very reasonable! Would hire again,.

NO SHOW. Called 10 minutes after appointment time to reschedule for the Friday. Said they had a computer scheduling glitch. Appointment was on Monday and I'd already taken 4 hours of vacation time from work to be there. I told her I could not put this off again and take another 4 hours off and hung up. I called back and asked to speak with a manager. Katie was extremely rude told me she was and would not allow me to speak with the owner. She then said, it was because 2 employees called in sick. When I called her out on the computer scheduling glitch, she back peddled. I may be sensitive because this is the 2nd contractor from Angies list to do this to us in the last week, but I'm quickly learning DO NOT TRUST THE RATINGS on Angie's list for these listed companies.
