Dean came out to give an estimate for work to be done. He was very professional and helpful, however the estimate was too far out price for the job, therefore we could not continue with their service.

Never made the estimate call or returned phone calls. We paid for the promotion and never receive any services despite numerous calls.

Assessed job. Ordered parts & took awhile to return to do the job, but did an excellent job once they started & in a timely fashion.

We purchased the $49 coupon for landscape lighting design and a $500 credit towards the work. We bought it 12/29 and the first appointment was 1/22/16. They didn't call to confirm and when we called them they said someone would be out between 1 -5. They called at 1:54 to say someone would be there between 2:45 -3:00. My husband left work and was at the house at 2:45. By 3:30, the tech was not there and I called and talked to an answering service who said that they would have the tech call my husband with an ETA. By 4:10, no one had come by and no one had called. I called Bolt Electric again and only reached another answering service who could only take a message. My husband went back to work. I sent an email to Bolt Electric that day and as of today, 1/27/16, have not heard back from the company. I requested a refund but doubt I'll see it. On another note - we went to the home show that weekend and 3 landscape companies offered to come out to do a free landscape lighting design and quote so it was a waste of the $49 anyway. I will be much more cautious about these types of offers on Angie's List moving forward.

It took him a couple of hours to do the work and it is working just fine. He also advised us on a pool light issue and surge protection. We use TECO's surge (zap cap) and he advised to get something else on our pool and hot tub electrical box. It will cost us $200 - $300 to install this, so currently we have not done this. We also used Bolt Electric in September, 2015, when two men installed outdoor electric to our our flower beds so that we can plug in lights. Everything is working very well.

The first visit didn't go well. My impression was the man sent out didn't want to do the job as it was getting late. He then misquoted the cost to complete the work so as to assure I would not have him do it. I asked him to leave without doing any work. I received a call from a supervisor apologizing for the misquote and he offered to send a different electrician on a future appointment. I accepted another appointment Clayton was the man, very professional, spent quite awhile diagnosing the problem, working very hard. He explained my options, I agreed to have Clayton return and finish the job. He did, again he worked very hard but finished it in a professional manner I was satisfied with everything at the end of the day.

Technicican advised that to fix the light he would have to run a new line which is an extensive amount ot work. Quoted 567. Turned out that a new line was not necessary and the fix took less than an hr total time. Office refused to modify bill. Would never use this company under any circumstances.
