Great experience all around. Friendly and competent staff from the receptionist to electrician Nick. He was very polite, knowledgeable and the type of employee I would want to have.

No explanation of how the asking price was computed, nor was there any recognition of what the exact installation challenge was. We and the technician were left with a pre-developed and inflexible asking price. Please provide this comment to Angies List, the group listing these electrician services.

Went great, just as planned. This was our second time using them for the same service, we will be using them again.

The electrician arrive as scheduled. Bolt Electric phone just prior to his arrival to ensure the time was still OK. A diagnostic was performed but couldn't find a definitive problem. To remove the circuit breaker as the problem, it was changed. I was told if it tripped again in the near future he would come back and do more troubleshooting under the same diagnostic trip.

The worker had been scheduled to install an electrical outlet on top of pavers 5ft from the wall and give me estimates on other projects. Once he got there, the worker told me he was unable to go beneath pavers, despite the person on the phone telling me he was capable. I had a backup project that I wanted the electrician to perform, but he said that he didn't have time and needed to move onto his next project. I thought, "why have them come out if they aren't going to provide work?" I ended up hiring them to come back to complete the backup project (installing a recessed light) because I had already purchased an Angie's List deal. It took less than 30 minutes. I will not be hiring them to complete the other projects because their prices are higher than other estimates. The quality of the work they performed was good.

They arrived early, which was fine with me. They did a very good job and were done in a few hours. My only problem was the price. The original cost without the Angie's List deal was $968. I provided the transformer and all the lights, they provided the wiring and associated supplies. With the deal, the price was $693.75. I can't remember why, but they added another 3% after they finished which brought it to $714.56. Unfortunately I signed the contract 1-1/2 weeks before they did the work without having done any research, which I admit was very foolish of me. The price seemed high, especially since I was providing the transformer and all the lights, so then I did a little research. I discovered the full price was about $200 to $300 more than it should have been. It seemed to me that they MAY have jacked up the original price and then applied the deal. I could be wrong about that, but even so they were very expensive and I would not hire them again.

I was shocked when Bolt Electric quoted $1,471.75 for the job. I felt my time away from work and travel to meet the representative was a complete waste of my time. I called another local provider that came out and completed one new outlet and replaced the GFI for a total of $154.00. The other provider stated the other outlet could not be installed due to code concerns. I feel bad for others that may not be as educated on the costs of electrical repairs as myself that have fallen for the tactics Bolt had demonstrated on my job.

Jeremy Emberts, Electrician, did an exhaustive check to determine the problems from 6 sources in and outside of the house to correctly diagnose the multi-items that caused no power, tripping of circuit, etc. Felt like he really cared and wanted to solve the problems for good. We will request Jeremy for future work. Company responded immediately to our request when we called in. Office person handling call was professional and nice.

We've used Bolt twice. Both times they were on time, friendly and professional. The work was done quickly with no mess left behind. I'm getting ready to have some ceiling fans installed and you can bet it will be Bolt that does the work. Highly recommended.

I get all the info I needed and will have work done in the future.

Jason and Wilfredo worked endlessly on this job. It took several days and many man hours. They were very professional and always showed up on time. It became more costly than anticipated but the work was done right. Jason explained everything in detail and once we saw the extent of the electrical problems instead of replacing one wire at a time, he worked up a price on a complete rewire.

I feel I was sold several expensive items that were probably not needed. I should have said no but I was made to believe that I had to have these additional products. However, as far as the electrical inspection went I believe the technician did a thorough job. Also, my appointment window was from 10am to 12pm and I was suppose to get a call that morning to give me a more exact time. I did not receive a call and the technician just showed up at approximately 1:20pm.
