Nelson was on time for all appointments , repaired the unit and left the kitchen area cleaner than it was before.

He called me up within a few minutes of my leaving my message. He came the same day as he promised. He fixed the problem and had the parts on hand. We were very happy with his fast response and competence.

Excellent. I called him yesterday and we set up an appointment for today. He arrived as scheduled. Fixed the problem and had the new part on hand. I would not hesitate to work with Nelson again, and I would certainly highly recommend him.

Refrigerator stopped cooling. We expected a costly motor replacement, but instead Nelson removed rear pannels to clear away frost buildup and adjusted the door so it would close better. A+++ SERVICE

Refrigerator was dripping inside and accumulating water. I called someone I've used in the past but after repeated assurances that they would come and repeated no-shows, I went on Angie's List and found Best Refrigerator. The reports were all glowing, and now I know why. Nelson answered the phone, told me when he would come, actually showed up and on time, diagnosed the problem, and called me( I wasn't there, it was for a tenant) to explain what was wrong and how much it would cost. He actually installed a part to prevent it from happening again, which barely even added to the cost. I don't know about you, but most repair men I've dealt with don't look for ways to prevent you from needing them again. I paid him over the phone with a credit card, and that was that. He made it so easy for me, with so little hassle, and I have a happy tenant. I couldn't ask for more. Will definitely call him again if the need arises.

He is the second person to look at the ice maker. The first person could not fix it. He is very experienced with refrigerators.

He arrived shortly after I called him. He checked the ice maker, determined the situation, gave me a price and went to work. The ice maker was fixed. I showed him another type of ice maker which was not working, but he said that it was not worth it to fix it because the parts were so expensive. His entire demeanor was professional and respectful.

The leak was noticed at the beginning of Labor Day weekend. I called three providers, and this one is the only one who replied. He was not able to come until Tuesday following the weekend, but he came when promised and the repair was excellent.

If everyone worked the way Nelson does, life would be a lot more pleasant. He was on time, gave a fair price, and trusted me to send him his money as I was unable to be there when he came to our empty condo to fix the refrigerator. He just called me when he was finished and asked if I would mail him a check! In Miami? Unbelievable!

Nelson Munoz arrived the same day that I called him and was honest, professional and very, very competent. Unlike the prior repairman, he knew how to properly remove the ice and water dispenser panel (which won me over immediately) and then informed me that although the dispenser part had been replaced the mechanism that goes with it had not been which was why it wasnt working properly. Then he proceeded to address the other issues and instead of trying to upsell me was honest in telling me that I should not try to level the door because would utlimately lead to the demise of the fridge. I am truly grateful that I found his contact information here and will surely use him again in the future and confidently refer him to all my friends and family.

We first met Nelson at school last spring when he was called to fix a problem with our refrigerator in the library. So pleased with his problem-solving, efficiency, and expertise, we knew he could handle this situation successfully -- and he did! He is thorough, punctual, reasonable, personable, and professional.

I noticed that my Sub Zero refrigerator was not cooling properly. I called Nelson, left a message and he called me back 10 min later and told me he could be at my house within a few hours. He was in South Miami and I live in Aventura. He called when he was on his way which was probably 45 min after we spoke. He determined that I needed a new thermostat and he had one on hand (he was prepared) and about 30 min later, it was all fixed. So overall, I'd say it went EXCELLENT. I couldn't have asked for better service!

I called Nelson for service since my refrigerator was not cooling and he returned my call within ten minutes and was at my house within a half hour, which was very impressive at the outset. When he arrived, I told him that the door didn't seem to be closing properly and that it must have been open during the night so the refrigerator was not cooling properly, since my freezer was still cold. He checked the door and agreed that it needed new hinges, but also then checked the entire system to make sure everything else was working properly and found that the timer was not working either, which was also affecting the air flow into the refrigerator. I was very impressed with the fact that he took the time to check out the entire refrigerator to make sure everything was working properly, rather than just replace the door hinge which I had originally called him for. I found Nelson to be very professional, knowledgeable and meticulous in his work and he even made sure that everything was cleaned up in the area he was working before he left, which I haven't seen too often with other workers! It was a pleasure dealing with Nelson and I will definitely be keeping his card so I can refer my family and friends to him as well.

He was here twice. The first time, Nelson wanted to see what exactly the problem was...I had told him about an accumulation of ice and he made two trips to be certain the correct problem was resolved. He came back 3 days later after the freezer was totally defrosted. He installed a heating element which will keep any ice from forming while the defrosting process is in operation. It's now Jan 2012 and the freezer had the same problem. Researching online I found this was a major complaint by many owners. I called Nelson and he remembered the freezer and in fact, had also continued to research the problem....and found Whirlpool now had a kit available for the problem...so it was ordered and Nelson said time will tell. He is such a pleasure to deal with, a true gentleman. He has also done an annual cleaning and check on our 26 yr old Sub Zero refrigerator. Nelson is the one to call!!!

Since the beginning of March, we had a whining refrigerator. (Mind you, this LG is a youngster -- fewer than two years old.) At first, we ignored the beeping, hoping it might one day disappear as mysteriously as it had appeared. (Really, at first, we thought it was the fire alarm, located on the wall near the fridge. After the fire-alarm company came and charged the school $100 to tell us it was the refrigerator making the noise, we felt bad.) We taped the light switch down, and that seemed to work for a few days. We tried opening and closing the refrigerator and freezer doors. That worked for a few hours. Finally, after a week off for spring break (during which time we were away and didn't have to listen to the beeping), we returned to constant beeping. I signed up for Angie's List and researched refrigerator repairmen in our area. BEST Refrigerator Repair, Inc. out of South Miami got good marks, and so I called and left a message on Tuesday. The message was returned. Mr. Munoz arrived the next day, fixed the problem that Wednesday, and returned to check on everything Thursday. His price for one hour of good work, a second check-up visit, and a solution to our problem was quite reasonable: under $100. I will use him again.

I have an old refrigerator and I faced the same problem, like before. It had an extended warranty from another store. When I faced the same problem years ago, the people from the store that gave me an extended warranty took for ever to come out when I called. They had to then get the part and then had to schedule another appointment to come out. However, this time the guy from Best Refrigerator Repair came the next day itself after I called. He was absolutely and incredibly wonderful. He said that he would be here at 10 o?clock and was done by 12. He was very nice and explained everything. Something in the freezer had frozen and had broken. So he took out the panel and you could see all the wires which were all frozen and were solid. He then defrosted it and also cleaned it up. He showed me the piece that was broken and then showed me the other piece that he got out of his truck. He also told me that the broken piece was not good any more and they don?t make such type of parts. He told me that they have better kind now that should be able to hang in there and for the rest of the time that the refrigerator would last. He also told me that it would last longer without many problems. He cleaned up everything, even though I offered to clean. I think that the price he charged was reasonable. I have had people come out to fix my washing machine, refrigerator, and other appliances before, but this was an incredibly wonderful experience. It wasn?t expensive, like I had some other people who wanted to charge for coming out and giving an estimate. The price was good and it was what I had expected. He couldn?t come the same day since it was very late as I had called him in the afternoon. However, it was excellent that he came the next day. He was here exactly when he said he would be. As a matter of fact, he was here a bit early and he called to inform me that he was on his way. He was very professional as well. I will definitely call him again if my washing machine messes up or for any other appliance repair because he repairs washing machines too. His specialty is refrigerators, but he has a lot of experience in other things also. He has 37 years of experience.

I tried disconnecting the refrigerator from the electrical source to see if it would start up again after a few minutes and this did not work. I also tried cleaning the coils but that also did not work. He found the problem and fixed it right away. He called me right away after I left a message and came when he said he would. He fixed the problem in 20 minutes. I would highly recommend him. He was on time, very professional and the price was right.

Our refrigerator was not cold. Best Refrigerator Repair came to our house within 4 hours of the initial call. Diagnosed the problem (freezer door was not closing properly and the defrost motor had burned out,) had the replacement motor in his van and repaired the problem on the spot. Not only did he put everything back in the fridge, he also mopped up the wet floor, even though my housekeeper was present and could have done the clean up. A+ !!

Nelson called ahead (like I asked him to) so I could meet him at the house. Arrived when he thought he would. Fixed refrigerator promptly. Made suggestions as to preventative maintenance.

I was extremely pleased with the service that I received. Nelson Munoz, the owner of company, was punctual, and extremely professional. He is also highly kowledgeable and skilled having over 30 years of experience. He was able to diagonse the issues with my refrigerator quickly and accurately. In addition, Nelson advised me that the refrigerator was still under warranty and offered to only replace the parts that would not be covered on the warranty and to have the manufacturer service parts that were covered. He was very honest and upfront, sharing information and advise that he did not have to. Although, I had called for service on the refrigerator, Nelson was also able to diagonse and fix some issues with my washing machine during the same visit. I could not ask for better service in any way. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent. I was impressed with Nelson's knowledge. Although he assumed he had found the problem, since the problem was intermittent he would not know if it was fixed for at least a week. Nelson told me that he would not accept payment from me until a week had passed with any evidence of the leak. I thought that kind of trust was indicative of a very ethical man.

Nelson Munoz owner of the company is a true professional appliance repairman and a gentleman of his word. He was prompt answering my service call on a Monday, very pleasant, respectful. He was concerned that I was without a working refrigerator a few days already so he gave me an appointment as soon as possible which was the next day. Everything worked out perfectly, he called to tell me he was on his way and he was on time. He worked neatly and with the ease of someone who really knows what he is doing. He explained step by step what was wrong and what he needed to do. I couldn't believe work ethics like this can still be found! I am very happy with the whole experience. On the Wednesday before, my refrigerator had stopped cooling and the ice maker was forming a thick frost. I called Sears appliance repair and was given an appointment for the following Friday between 1 and 5 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. after almost a five hour wait the repairman called to say that I better make sure my condominium security guard would let him in after 5:00 p.m. because he didn't want to make the trip in vain. He asked me to call him back with this assurance and not once apologized for being late or for not calling earlier to let me know. He also said he didn't know how long it would take him to get to my place. I complained and he just told me to call Sears and get someone else, then hung up the phone. Sears has a "make believe we listen" department for this sort of complaint. In the end, I was told that Sears would be happy to make another appointment for another day but that there was no way to guarantee I wouldn't get the same person nor that he would be reprimanded. I told Sears to forget my name, address and phone number because I wouldn't call them again. I immediately called Angie's List to ENROLL AGAIN in the membership I had not renewed because I thought I didn't need it!
